Guest Reviews
- Orca99 (8/5): I had a lovely stay and would definitely stay here again. - Location is nice because it is easily connected to all the big places you might want to go, but out of the main hustle and bustle.
The aircons were essential in the Rome heat!
The manager was very helpful and gave clear instructions for entry into the apartment.
He also left a large basket of quality coffee capsules for the coffee machine, and this was a very lovely touch to our stay indeed! It was difficult to enter the apartment initially because you need internet connection to get into the house and we had not planned on using roaming data at that point.
There were also some fragile aspects to the apartment, some shelves were at the verge of breaking and the window in the one room we kept closed because it also seemed close to falling out.
- Sharon (9/5): August 2025 - We did not spend much time in the apartment as we were travelling in Italy and had a bucket list of things to do.
The location was excellant not too far from the Centre & close to the Colosseum, Circus Maximus, and Romen bath ruins as well as some other sites and a great park with a drinks area were we caught a live band playing.
Our taxi driver dropping us off told us it was a good area . He was local to the area and gave us some history on the buildings and our apartment, which gave me more appreciation for it. The apartment was nice and clean, well secured, and has a great coffee machine. I also appreciated the use of the washing machine.
Our host Lorenzo was great. We didn't meet him as everything was done through an Ai home app and what's app, but he was easy to reach on whats app. I had a bit of a problem on arrival were my phone would not connect straight away, so we had to contact him on my daughters phone for the codes. No lift access, had to carry suitcases up the stairs, it did not present to much of a problem for us but one of our suitcases is heavy. But if you have health/mobility issues and heavy luggage, it may cause problems.
- María Pilar (10/5): Bien comunicado y de 10 - Sitio tranquilo y muy bien comunicado Es un primero sin ascensor
- Elisabet (10/5): -
- Ana (10/5): Recommended - Location was good and it was easy to access.
Washing machine and other amenities made it very comfortable for the family to stay. Lorenzo was extremely helpful, hairdryer initially had a problem and once we informed him, he showed up with brand new hairdryer and Iron. We really appreciated that he actually took measures to make our hair stay comfortable.
He also allowed us to leave our luggage at the property for a few hours after checking out.
Just note that apartment is on the first floor and there are stairs which you would need to take to get in there.
- Eoin (9/5): Superb -
- Vladimír (9/5): Superb - Location is perfect, especially for these money in area around the center. A lot of coffee available in the kitchen, facilities. Netflix.
- Taylor (7/5): Good - Cute apartment, felt safe and secure. Door lock worked great and easy to gain entry from host. Place was clean! Neighbourhood felt very authentic, it a less tourist area but the food in the area was amazing!!! Recommend this stay for people who do not mind a bit of a walk to the heart of Rome Could hear other people in building but otherwise not a bad experience
- Gabriel (7/5): Very ok property if out of other options in Testaccio - Good location, spacious, well equipped and stocked kitchen Small shower cabin and poor water pressure. Aged furniture and general condition of the apartment. Insufficiently stocked bathroom toiletries.
- Vladimir (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sergiy (8/5): Great place to stay, close to the center, very comfortable, you won't regret - - Great Location: The apartment is conveniently located with easy access to public transport and major attractions. The Colosseum and Trastevere neighborhood are just a 15-20 minute walk away, while the bus stop is only 5 minutes, and the metro station is a 10-minute walk.
- Convenient Access: Entry is easy with options like a code, key, or app, so you’ll always be able to get inside. :)
- Well-Equipped Apartment: The apartment is well-stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay, showing the host’s thoughtfulness toward guests. There’s a full set of dishes, and all necessary kitchenware to cook meals; we often made breakfast and sometimes dinner, though lunch would be easy to prepare too. It has a microwave, toaster, kettle, paper towels, and even food storage containers. Plus, the host provided various condiments, including sugar, salt, oil, vinegar, ketchup, and mayonnaise – a huge thank you for that! Additionally, there are towels, soap, shower gel, laundry detergent, and dishwashing liquid, as well as an iron, ironing board, drying rack, two umbrellas, and more.
- Coffee Machine with Frother: There’s a coffee machine with a milk frother and capsules for regular and decaf coffee! The coffee was delicious, and even our child asked for cappuccino :) Guests can also buy additional capsules to their taste. This was a fantastic bonus.
- Three TVs with Streaming Services: There are three TVs with access to Netflix and similar services. Though we didn’t use them, it was a nice option to have. Thank you!
- Washing Machine: Very convenient for a longer stay.
- Good Internet: Fast and reliable Wi-Fi.
- Comfortable Bed and Clean Linens: The bed was comfortable, and the linens were fresh and clean. - Weak Shower Water Pressure: This was probably the most frustrating part. The water heater often doesn’t ignite due to the low water pressure, meaning you have to turn on a second faucet in the bathroom or kitchen to get the hot water going. Additionally, regulating the water temperature afterward is tricky. Washing hair, especially long or curly hair, could be challenging. We managed, but it was a hassle.
- Sound Isolation Issues: The soundproofing is minimal – you can hear everything, and others can hear you too. At one point, a neighbor even came over to (not so politely) ask us to keep it down, even though my spouse and I were only talking quietly as we would at home. If you’re not bothered by this, it might not be a major issue.
- Some Kitchenware Needs Replacement: Some items, like the frying pans, have seen better days. Also, the kitchen knife had been bent, perhaps from misuse.
- Suggestion – Disposable Slippers: A small touch that would have been very appreciated. The floors are cold, and although the apartment seemed clean, walking barefoot or even in socks left our feet a bit dirty.
- Toni (7/5): A Very nice relaxing stay ! Very safe area at night! Nice authentic local activity, enjoyed the real - shower was small but bathroom very cute, it matched the pictures and description, we like the unique architecture
bed in main room was very comfortable, we slept very well, but we kept hitting corner of the bed to get around it,. we did not use the pull out couch so not sure how comfortable.we liked how quiet the building and area was.liked the tall ceilings, easy walk to fantastic Testaccio Market and nice walk to Trastevere... the price advertised should include all taxes and fees. a separate a per person tourist tax was not clearly explained when we booked, and is really terrible . im sure you already pay high property tax!🤔🤔 i do not have a smart phone so it was very difficult to not be able to use simple email, i had to ask another person help me check in. unit did not have bottled water for our arrival or milk or cream for coffee, but coffee machine was good. The bathroom was exmissing ventilation, kitchen area not enough natural light, but we did not spend much time in the unit, thevbedrooms lack privacy curtains and or shears and screens, the wood shutters kept room too dark, i did not like that i had to provide my passport , the govt surveilance is out of control.
- Kemper (10/5): Great place to stay with friends and feel at home. - The property was fantastic. The pictures that are on the internet convey perfectly what you are purchasing. What I liked specifically about this property was the large variety of facilites that were offered. We could wash clothes easily during our trip which was essential for comfort. The TV allowed us to have a movie night in the apartment which we loved and everyone was able to sleep comfortably in their own bed with AC. Lorenzo, the owner, also made sure to send us great information on places in Rome to visit and eat which made the city feel more personal.
- Andrew (8/5): Nice and quiet and close to the centre - In a quiet part of Rome but still very close to the centre. The coffee the apartment provided was great.
The bedrooms were good and clean and the apartment was safe. You can walk to the centre in 20 minutes or get the tram or train which are a five - ten minute walk from the apartment.
The food district is a 15 minute over the bridge which was also great for the evening. We walked at night and felt safe, there is a sense of local community in the area. The pillows were a bit hard, it would be good if they provided some softer ones so people can choose. Other than that the stay was good.
- Subhas (9/5): Superb - Great location, very helpful host.
- Hanna (7/5): Good - The apartment is located in a very good location. There are quite a few local restaurants and bars nearby. It is easy to take the subway to historical attractions. The kitchen is windowless so it's not a nice place to stay together during the day. The shower does not work properly. Although there is an elevator in the building it was not possible to use it.
- Paul (10/5): Had a brilliant time in Rome, this was a great base to start each day. - Fantastic location, great restaurants nearby recommended by Lorenzo (fantastic carbonara). Close to the centre of the city, all within walking distance. Amazing to have fine coffee first thing in the morning while preparing to head out for the day. We never cooked, but looked like all utensils were there. Lorenzo was also very patient and responsive with my many questions. Lastly, very cool ceilings in the property, the brickwork looked great! Nothing.
- Karolina (7/5): Good - - Good location
- fully equipped kitchen
- clean sheets - aparartment, and especially the bathroom, wasn't very clean
- small shower cabin
- Weronika (9/5): Superb -
- Irina (7/5): Good - Nice place, easy to get by transport. Lorenzo was answering all our questions quickly. Good coffee machine! The shower in the bathroom needs some improvement.

- Viktor (9/5): Superb - Nice apartment in 5-10 minutes from subway station.
Not so far from the center, can be reached on foot.
The kitchen is well equipped. The apartment is a little dark.
- Georgi (10/5): really good apartment - very nice and clean apartment, youhave everything what you needed inside,i’m very happy ,thanks to hospitality Lorenzo👍 everything was fine
- Sirakanyan (8/5): Very good -
- Nikitina (9/5): Superb - We were in these apartments from 6 to Oktober 16 2023. For two people this is a very good option. Grocery stores and market are 5 minutes walk from the house. The apartments are located 5-7 minutes from the Pyramid metro station. The center of Rome is just two stops away. The apartment has everything you need for your stay. As a nice bonus there is a capsule coffee machine. We didn't see our owner, but we felt his care all the time.
- Raducu (10/5): Exceptional - Very friendly and effective manager communication. Safe and pleasant location..Nice apartment. They offer a wonderful coffee/cappuccino /espresso machine including the coffee 👍👏
- Huang (5/5): Passable - Two real bedrooms !
- Sofio (10/5): We had a great stay - Neighborhood is safe and nice. There is a nice and very cheap coffee place at nearby piazza. Host was very nice. Communication was smooth. Apartment had great air conditioning system and it was sparkling clean We liked everything
