• Benjamin (10/5): Magical experience that you never want to end! - We had a fantastic stay with Laloon!! Mostly quiet, very relaxed, and extremely private suite. From start to finish Adri was available for anything we needed. Breakfast was great with plenty of choices. Maintenance and cleaning staff was friendly and very accommodating. Daily laundry was a nice touch! (Next time we would pack only a backpack!) You could stay here for any occasion. Not needing to leave for anything if you don't want to was a great feature seeing how the local grocers and restaurants deliver throughout the day. We stayed in some nights for dinner and went out other nights. Morning song birds and evening monkey sightings were a bonus!! Word of caution, must have ATV or 4X4 vehicle to get to suites. it was an adventure but became easier every time you did it and boy was it worth the view! I can't say enough about Laloon Suites and their staff. Perfectly done!! Hope to return someday, Im sure it will be every bit as good as it was this time! Neighboring property sometimes played loud music late into the evening. This is out of Laloon's control but was the only downside to our entire trip.

We stayed here on the second half of our trip and didn’t want to leave our room or that view. The room was spotless and the laundry service was a great feature. Breakfast was consistent, yummy and timely. We had no troubles getting to the hotel with the ATV we rented. We hope to stay here again in the future, if you’re looking for a one of a kind stay with beautiful views this is your spot!

Lovely pool, had some wildlife visit- monkeys, butterflies, hummingbirds. Peaceful. Accommodating hosts. Breakfast could do with improvement considering the quality of the accommodation. Could do with more interesting choices, better quality of bread and the cakes were unfortunately stale. Also the coffee option is only a pod machine- would be nice if they offered a French press in the morning as we had to go into town for better quality coffee. Be aware that you’ll need to rent a 4x4 vehicle to get around anywhere as the road up to the property is pretty bad and it would be too far to walk anywhere in any case- this is the price you pay for the views and peace.

From the friendly smiling staff to the delicious breakfast every morning. It all was perfect. We stayed in suite 3 which has its own private pool which was perfect after our early morning walk on the beach , The king size bed is soooo comfortable and . The.staff was so helpful from helping us rent a quad to having a pizza delivered, they were amazing in their continual effort to make our vacation great!! All I can say is.... Thanks to everyone at LALOON and we'll see you next

It was more difficult to get to but in saying that was very worth the effort.

Roni completely melted away those fears with their kindness, attentiveness, and supreme accommodations. I’m blown away by their attention to detail and the care they showed me. The room itself is unreal. Top-notch everything. I’ve never slept so well, the pillows and linens were supreme. The highlight was the plunge pool- I chose this place because I was searching for a room I would crave to be in, and I never once lamented about discomfort or unease. Santa Teresa itself was not the draw, as I am not a surfer nor an “adventurer “…. I’m a chiller. I don’t think I could dream up a better place for me to relax and withdraw from the daily grind.

Avi went out of his way to make our stay comfortable and we enjoyed every minute of it. Every detail from tasty breakfast to great wine selection to ability to book quads on site have been thought of. I am already looking forward to coming back. If you are hesitating - don't. The only minor hiccup is that the road to property is still being built so a portion is more of a dirt road with potholes. I would not let it distract you - Costa Rican infrastructure is still quite nascent and everything else at Laloon more than compensates for this.

• Frank (10/5): The best Hotel In Santa Teresa 5 star hotel - Best hotel we were in Costa Rica. Nestled on a small hill overlooking the beaches of Santa Theresa, it has the best views and unbeatable service. Breakfast was delicious, daily housekeeping, daily complimentary laundry service and not to mention they offer a full concierge that organizes your atv and pretty much anything else you need. The infinity pool and view is simply breathtaking to wake up to, we’ll be back every year.

The nature surrounding Laloon is lush and awesome! The staff was great from the start until the end. Getting your breakfast served in your room every morning is fantastic! The place is so peaceful and quiet! Definitely we will return! Is only a few minutes away from all of the great restaurants and bars in the area, and the beach! Despite the terrible roads Laloon is definitely worth staying! The roads in Santa Teresa suck, if you can even begin calling them roads. Is not Laloon's fault of course, but that's how the corrupt municipality steals the tax money, buy not building infrastructure in a prime turistic area. This is a countrywide problem. If you are coming to Santa Teresa rent a 4 x 4!

The suites were impeccable - private, secluded and luxurious. The service was thoughtful and warm. We even had fresh homemade hummus and coconuts waiting for us in our minibar. We didn’t want to leave……and we barely want to tell anyone bc we want to keep this gem all to ourselves! The perfect setting to truly feel away from it all.

The room was just out of this world, so clean and chic. I loved EVERYTHING about my stay there. It was my bday and arriving to a bday cake was just the cherry on top! Loved my stay there and I cant wait to be back.

It sits high above the town and the view, the pool, the decor and overall aesthetics made our stay even more dreamy. The staff and owners were very attentive. We enjoyed the breakfast and the close proximity to town/restaurants. As for transportation, one is def needed. We rented a car and also saw a lot of people on quads.
• Valerie (10/5): Loved every minute of the trip. Can’t wait to return! - This place is amazing! Where should I start? The suites are brand new and superbly decorated with an infinity edge pool on each balcony overlooking a beautiful view of the ocean from the hilltop. The sliding door stacked so that you could open the room up and feel like you were outside yet had the most modern and comfortable accommodations. You could even see the monkeys playing in the trees nearby from the balcony. The owners took great care to pamper you and make sure you were well taken care of. They would help with any questions that you had and even help with booking your excursions etc. Roni, one of the owners, cooked amazing, healthy breakfasts each morning which were delivered straight to the room. I can’t say enough of this place except , how soon can I return? if you are looking for an amazing place to stay, you won’t be let down here! I loved everything about the property actually. However, it’s important to note that you really need a 4 wheel drive or quad to get around town , as well as, up the hill to the property. The roads in Santa Teresa in general are not the best.
