The Tree House Cafe / Restaurant only 50m away was handy, great service and food options.
Across the road is a beach access making it easy to pack up a picnic etc. to take down there and have some space to relax in the sun. The house had a terrible smell and due to the location/surrounds of the apartment it gets very little sunlight, the clean was a quick wipe and go approach. Although the check in message stated an apology for the carpet damage and that it was booked in to be replaced after our stay, it would have been appreciated to been told this long before as it was overbearing, substantial and like it had been that way for a while. The beds are very aged and uncomfortable, the living room had two sofa's both very well used and not clean so all in all we spent as minimal time there as possible during our week stay. Not value for money at all but hopefully gets the carpet fixed and some updates.

- Murray (6/5): Maybe you can get away with charging high rates in Byron but the property is not up to standard. - Close to the beach. Property is tired and needs a good renovation. Also needs a good clean as very dusty and internet is so slow it is basically unusable.

A mirror in each room would be useful and a power point in the main bathroom should be a must
