- Pushpa (10/5): - Hands down the most breathtaking sunset I’ve ever seen! The owner is incredibly kind and a true car enthusiast; he even gave my son a personal tour of his amazing car collection. My son was beyond thrilled to meet such a legend! The villa is easily accessible, spotlessly clean, and beautifully decorated, with outstanding attention to detail. An unforgettable experience from start to finish!

- Brett (10/5): Home away from Home - We love coming to Derwent Mist Villas.
Perfect place for us when we are in the area.
Highly recommend.
Thank you 😊 Nothing to note
- Vicki (8/5): Very good - The location was very quiet and peaceful, with a lovely outlook through the trees over the Derwent River. Unfortunately, it was a very cold day when we arrived and the villa was extremely cold upon arrival. It would have been more welcoming to have had the air conditioner turned on prior to our arrival. Also, the AC batteries were not working the best, so we had to jiggle with those to get the unit to work properly.
- Robyn (9/5): Superb -
- Karenne (10/5): When you walked in the door, it felt like home. - The villa had extra little touches that made you feel welcome. The bush setting was relaxing.
- Senem (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lacey (9/5): Tassie road trip - The unit was well appointed with everything we needed. A lovely peaceful setting. Location was a bit hard to find and nowhere to eat out. Fine if you bring your own food.
- Elena (10/5): Just what we needed! - Everything was great, very comfortable villa, nicely set up both on the inside and outside. We enjoyed our stay. The host was easy to reach out to and quick to respond.
- Richard (9/5): It was our first night's accommodation after arriving in Hobart. Very nice. - Some provisions for breakfast - tea/coffee, bread, butter jam. Quite adequate. Very compact villa but nicely appointed in a very quiet rural location with distant views to the derwent river. Nothing.
- Helen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ronto (9/5): Superb - The view. It was quiet and peaceful. Good communication. Overall, excellent.
- Chris (9/5): Superb -
- Joy (10/5): Exceptional - We had a wonderful stay. The property was lovely, with a modern, clean interior and all the amenities we needed. The bed and couch were very comfortable. There was also a beautiful view of the mountains and a lake. The host was very responsive and we generally had a great time. There was a small stain on one of our bedsheets.
- William (10/5): Private setting with great accommodations. - A well stocked private cabin in the country but close to everything. Wallaby’s visiting at dusk and beautiful skies off the porch. The bed is comfortable, there is plenty of space and the host is quick to respond. One of our best stays anywhere. Everything was great. Wish we had stayed longer.
- Hillary (10/5): Relaxed, self contained escape for couples. - Beautiful setting overlooking the distant Derwent river. Good location to get into Hobart or out to port Arthur or mt field NP. Lovely sunsets with wallabies. Nil
- Theodora (10/5): Exceptional - Peaceful rural location but only 5 minutes drive from the shops. Well appointed and comfortable Road works were a bit confusing the first time

- Colin (8/5): Very good - Clean a tidy, nice and quiet

- Matthews (10/5): Love this place - The villa is tranquil and spacious. N/a
- Thomas (10/5): Perfect gateway not too far from Hobart - The location is perfect. On a quiet hill at the end of a road. Only one other villa on side so not likely to have much noise.
Views are perfect. The unit itself is very modern and has all you need. We even saw plenty of wildlife in the evening.
Good wifi and 5g connectivity.
We enjoyed our stay!! The BBQ on the balcony is an electric one - would preferred it to be a gas one.
- Guntermuller (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (9/5): Superb - View of the Derwent river valley from the living area and deck was stunning. Apartment sited to take best advantage of the river and bush outlook. Facilities were very clean and welcoming. The wind up the valley on the night we stayed was strong enough to be felt while lying in bed! Not sure how this could be corrected but structure felt a little fragile on this occasion.
- Margaret (9/5): Superb -
- Brett (10/5): Wonderful place to stay, can't wait to return - Very accommodating, very friendly.
Place is beautiful a great location quiet but still close to everything we needed. Will be our first choice for future trips to the south of our beautiful state. Couldn't stay longer on this occasion
- Terry (10/5): Exceptional - Nice and quiet, secluded.
Loved the electric blankets.

- Matthews (10/5): Serenity at last. - Beautiful design and easy access layout, Breakfast choices outstanding including dairy free milk! Loved the peaceful location and view, already talking about our next stay. Having to leave, Perfect place and hosts :)
- Robert (6/5): Very disopointing. - Complementary breakfast for first morning only. No folder explaining the property and facilities.
No internet.
Property facilities said washing machine. Found a small sign on a shed as we were leaving.
No response from message left on owner's contact no re washing machine.
Pots gelore but no stove to cook on.
- Kelly (10/5): Perfect Venue! Will definitely come back! - Lovely private location.
Perfectly clean and tidy.
When we called the owner to ask a question very helpful and kind.
Comfy bed and pillows.

- Glenn (9/5): Great place to stay - Great cabin. Nice outlook. Quiet Slightly confusing arrival directions
- Gs (10/5): Exceptional - Great bed! The apartment is very comfortable and is well stocked. Nothing
- Mathew (10/5): Exceptional - The location was amazing and the view was nice as well. Loved the bathroom as well
- Tony (10/5): Very comfortable, great location. Well equipped kitchen and included basic breakfast food. - Exceptionally comfortable. Good location close to Hobart but in a semi-rural setting. Very quiet. Laundry could do with a dryer, not just a washing machine.
- Terry (10/5): Exceptional - The Villa had a view down towards New Norfolk and the Derwent. It had everything you needed and many extras. It was lovely clean and compfortable.
- Cathie (9/5): Clean, comfortable and a caring host. Nice bush setting. Enjoyable stay. - This location suited us as we wanted to be in this particular area on the northern edge of greater Hobart. While we didn't see the host, it was obvious how much she cared for her guests by the details that she had gone to with provisioning the cottage, and the lovely condition everything was in. There was a lovely view of the River Derwent through bushland for us to share the evening with. This suits our style much better than the Hobart waterfront. We would stay here again, without hesitation, if we needed accommodation in this area. Thank you. There was nothing that we didn't like, but thanks for asking.
- Simon (9/5): It’s a great well thought out unit. Loved the electric bbq too - Very well equipped Nothing
- Egilda (9/5): Great spot off main road. - View from decking. Native vegetation. Wildlife. Quite. Comfortable, great bed, sofa. Small kitchenette.
- Bev (9/5): We were able to travel into Hobart and also saw some attractions north of Hobart. - Very quiet location. Facilities were excellent. Easy access to tourist areas north of Hobart. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. Would recommend this property to other travellers.
