Guest Reviews
- Mary (7/5): We had a good time, kids loved the interaction with the animals (horse, goats and dog). Beautiful mountain view, beautif - Location is good, beautiful and peaceful farm. Best part is they let you feed the animals and even let you collect eggs and keep the eggs!!!! Dinning and sitting area little bit small,
- Jonathan (9/5): Enjoyable short stay in the countryside - Quiet location, yet still close to Kangaroo Vally town centre.
We chilled out in the evening in the field by the camp fire
- Regina Leah (9/5): EXcellent though it's only for a day. It was worthy. - Farms are typically found in areas with
Fresh air and open space – it feels lighter and easier to breathe, especially compared to the city.
Quiet and natural sounds – birds, wind, animals… no traffic noise.
Green surroundings – fields, trees, and sky help you relax mentally.
Animals and plants – seeing where food comes from makes life feel more real and grounded.
Slower pace – things aren’t rushed, which helps you disconnect and reset. None. Everthing exceed my family's expectation.

- Melinda (10/5): Paradise in a Valley. - It was a beautiful farm with a stunning view. Gentle sweet rescue animals and a lovley family running the accommodation. A treasure in a busy world to be with nature at its finest. The goats are super cute and the pony and horse very sweet. Was able to bring an NDIS client and his pet bunny as pets were allowed!! Definatly recommend. Was very central to go to the kangaroo Valley Street and gift shops, the fancy golf club for a meal, Nowra for a meal and movie and only 50 minutes from the beach and Wollongong and surrounds. Amazing place. It has everything you needed for a comfortable and uplifting stay.

- Adam (8/5): We had a nice relaxing time , the valley was beautiful, would recommend the property to anyone. - Quiet and peaceful. The animals are beautiful, Yvonne and yemo were very friendly and accomodating.
- Susan (8/5): Nice weekend away , nice place to stay. The goats are very cute. - Lovely spot , nice friendly hosts, close to kangaroo valley.
- JudyMac99 (7/5): - Scenery is fantastic. Needs updating. Pretty rustic.
- Brian (8/5): Ideal location to use as a base for a weekend visit. - I was attending a wedding close to the farm. Chosen for convenient location and price.
Beautiful views and the farm animals are a highlight for families.
- Herbert (8/5): Was a pleasant stay. The experience was definitely enhanced by the lovely hosts! - The hosts were responsive and kind, they keep a cute and cosy little farm with animals and even bees! All the animals were also friendly and fun to interact with. Location-wise it was not far from town so you could get the supplies you needed. The sofa bed was not comfortable.
- Steve (9/5): Very relaxing and enjoyable - Beautiful location, run by lovely people. Facilities were basic but had everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable.
- Charles (8/5): Great value on edge of Kangaroo Valley town. - Cabin in a scenic farm setting was lovely. Sitting on the front verandah looking at the mountains around the valley was a treat. Layout of cabin worked well for the 2 of us. The description on booking.com matched the place. Hosts Yvonne and Reno were most helpful. A minor issue was the noise from the downpipe right next to main bedroom during second night when we had super heavy rain.
- Stuart (7/5): Peaceful stay - It's a fantastic location. It's quiet and close to the village. The cabin had all we needed and it was clean. Very friendly family though the greeting could have been better. "Hi, welcome, you need to pay" wasn't the best way the start our stay. All in all, I would stay again.
- Woh (8/5): A very pleasant, peaceful and meaningful stay where my wife and I could enjoy the ambience, - The location of the Farm. It is very close to the Kangaroo Valley town and other places to visit.
Although the property has a tired look, on the whole, it was comfortable, peaceful and tranquil. The host and hostess were exceptionally helpful and friendly. There is no treated water. All the water is rainwater. But it is alright.
- Mason (9/5): Superb -
- Kerry (10/5): Beautiful quite farm location not far from the lovely Kangaroo Valley shops - A wonderful peaceful property
- Vivianne (10/5): Exceptional - We loved the goats, horses and the beautiful setting. Family and dog friendly. The cabins were clean and comfortable and set amongst lovely gardens. We loved that we could take a dip in the pool as well. Very close to town which was convenient. The owners were very friendly. Would love to come back again!
- Kate (10/5): Exceptional - Farm experience for kids in the comfort of fully contained cottage (with AC & fans) Everything was great.
- Sarah (7/5): A room with a view - The owners were very nice and quick to help when needed. The view was beautiful, and the facilities were clean. There was plenty of cutlery and accessories available to make your stay easier when cooking a home meal, and firewood was available for a camp fire if you wanted one. The animals were a hit with my daughter, and it was great to be included in their feeding each morning. The flies were insanely bad, you couldn't even walk outside without flies everywhere and our cabin didn't have a fence on the gate, so we had to take our dog with us everywhere which made it hard to go enjoy local attractions. The sofa bed was also quite uncomfortable.
- Diana (10/5): Great stay with amazing views and friendly animals - We absolutely loved our stay! The stunning views of the mountains, the animals (especially the cheeky goats and sweet dog), and the peaceful location. The pool was great, and the welcoming hosts went above and beyond. Highly recommended!
- Tarakaramaiah (10/5): Exceptional - Location and view Flies were little annoying, but it is a farm and understandable
- Coralie (9/5): Superb - The views, the quiet location, the animals, the hosts and the pool :)
- Iva (5/5): Average for the cost - The view and scenery The price for sub standard quality of cabin and sub standard quality of furniture that was weak and flimsy. No fresh eggs on arrival and hosts were cold and not friendly or warming.
- Nathan (9/5): Big Bell visit - The views, environment and the farm animal interaction. The hosts were friendly and approachable There were alot of mosquitos and ticks can be an issue
- Nataliia (8/5): Great short getaway - Great location, just minutes' drive from town centre and a lot of sightseeing points.
The hosts were very accommodating lovely people. Lots of animals to interact with. Kids really enjoyed it.
- Bronwyn (7/5): Great location - The views The beds too hard
- Sivapragas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julie (10/5): Lovely hosts, lovely animals. - Hosts were absolutely lovely and it was wonderful to spend time around all the different animals, and getting to feed them.
- Michele (9/5): Superb -
- Kevin (8/5): Very good - Nice surroundings and close to town. Very exposed to the very windy weather whilst I was there. The cabins could do with a refresh and modernising. Its expensive for what you get.
- Czarienah (10/5): Great weekend with my family, loved the animals on the farm, highly recommended - Property is clean and well kept
- Sophia (10/5): Beautiful, cosy and fun stay. - We loved our stay. Beautiful location, animal interactions, cosy cabin with electric blankets and heating, outdoor BBQ and fire area, friendly hosts.
- Yeasna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nicole (4/5): Disappointing - The farm yards were beautiful to walk through and it was a lovely location. We didn't have the greatest experience whilst we were here. We had a problem with the shower which meant that the hot and cold mixer was broken. The choice was either a scolding hot shower or a freezing cold one. We had to raise this issue several times and they were not able to move us rooms or get a plumber. At the time I was 6 or so months pregnant and the only option given on the third day after not showering for 2 days was to shower in another cabin, which would have required a rugged uneven walk in the dark. In the end we decided to end our trip early as it got so uncomfortable and by this stage the hosts had left for the rest of the time of our stay. The bed was also exceptionally uncomfortable as was the furniture inside the cabin, it wasn't the most comfortable place to spend any time so we found we spent as little time as possible at our accommodations. I appreciate we went on a busy peak weekend, but to be charged $705 for 3 nights for the experience and for the quality we got was extremely disappointing. We definitely left feeling very ripped off.
- Suzana (10/5): Amazing stay at farm. - We really enjoyed staying here. Our villa was next to the goats and sitting on the balcony you could watch cows and mountains. My kids loved every second of this holiday and they didn’t want to leave. The villa has all you need literally all. The owners were very nice , they showed my kids how to feed the animals. They also sell the best honey. I would highly recommend to visit this place.
- Mary (10/5): It suited me and the dogs perfectly - Quiet warm comfy beautiful scenery. Allowed dogs which was wonderful nothing
- David (8/5): Great location. Great rural views. Very relaxing. - Beautiful location in a lovely rural setting. Short drive to Kangaroo Valley and Fitzroy Falls. Miniature goats and their babies were really cute. Cabin was basic but clean and comfortable with a great view. Would have loved to have stayed longer. A couple of thicker pillows would have been welcomed.
- Stefan (10/5): Cozy and relaxing getaway spot - If you are after a convenient and relaxing stay in Kangaroo Valley, look no further than Big Bell Farm.
The property offers stunning views of green fields with cows and kangaroos in the distance.
Additionally, there is a livestock enclosure near the cabins where we enjoyed watching goats and their calves eating, playing, and climbing structures.
In the morning, we purchased fresh eggs from the proprietors and cooked them in our cabin for breakfast.
I would highly recommend this property for couples or small families who want to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing weekend in the countryside.
- Hayley (10/5): Fantastic stay we will come back for sure. Excellent stay for families. Great location and easy to find. - We stayed at a cabin for the weekend. The weather was wet but we still had the most amazing stay. The cabin was warm enough for us. We loved the animals, the tranquil scenery, the fresh air and the comfort of the cabin. The cabin was very clean. Nothing we did not enjoy. It was homely and comfortable.
- Eloise (7/5): Gorgeous farm property - great price - Great location near town and beautiful farm! Good to be aware that other cabins are very close by so it can get noisy if surrounded by families or big groups.
- Sean (7/5): Good - Lovely spot, not too far out of town. Got a beautiful garden that is lovely to watch the sunrise in. The animals were also very cute and it was nice just walking by them as we were enjoying our cups of tea. The property has some character. Bathroom could do with a little reno, but it still functioned. We found what we think was a cockroach in the kitchen, but it might have been a random bug because we didn't get a good look.
- Nicolas (8/5): Very good - Good place, we will come back for sure, I recommend it
- Gandhok (10/5): Stay was amazing. Looking forward to visiting property again sometime in future - Property is in great location and hills view from the property add value to the property. My children loved the animals on the property. Overall experience was amazing. NA
- Anne (9/5): Superb -
- Fiona (8/5): Very good -
- Anubha (4/5): Disappointing - The farm animals n the dog Uncomfortable stay.
Broken toilet latch, couldn't close the door
Jammed bathroom door, had to take shower with half open doors.
Gas stove were partially working
Bunk bed was squeaky. Couldn't sleep with the noise it made.
Not enough space for 6 people in the living area.
Farm animals included a few goats, one horse, one pony.
There's nothing much to do on the property, no play equipment for kids.
- Michael (10/5): Wonderfull stay - We have had a wonderful time in the Big Bell Farm. Our two grand children - typical Sydney siders living in a wonderful and great City were enthusiastic and thrilled to enjoy and experience the goats, horses, cows, hens and charming dog Mia on the huge ground.
The cabin was very nice and well equipped - totally okay for a nice stay - we saw the neighbouring
people enjoying their barbecue. We decided the „The Friendly Inn“ in the village nearby. If you need to buy food: the gas station has „everything“. Don‘t miss the Fitzroy Falls nearby -
car wise. Thank you dear Yvonne
and Remo for your guidance and
very nice treatment with us and the kids! Christa, Michael, Anja, Nima and Erik Nothing at all to complain!
- Jaquline (9/5): Superb - Beautiful farm setting with animal feeding for the kids. Also interaction with animals were a big hit. Well equiped cottage and short drive from Berry Nothing, it is beautiful and would highly recommend.
- Xiao (9/5): My friends and I were happy staying and enjoyed the natural environment. - Animal farm and friendly host. The door of the bathroom didn't close properly.
- Blake (8/5): Very good -
- Dekhtawala (8/5): Very good -
- Yvette (9/5): Great family getaway - Beautiful, peaceful location, farm atmosphere, animals, swimming pool. Extremely welcoming hosts. Location central to beaches, tourist towns and various activities.
- Xin (7/5): Good - House is a little bit old
- Elaine (7/5): A little underwhelming but overall a pleasant stay. - The cabin was in a good location, the bathroom was large and modern. There were electric blankets which we loved and also easy to heat and cool the cabin. Loved the peaceful farm surrounds with the goats, the friendly dog and cows. Very close to the town centre and pet friendly. The hosts were very friendly and eager to help. There were no laundry and ironing facilities in the cabin - although the host did her best to supply them to us. We had one towel each (4 of us) which we used for 3 nights.
- Saurav (9/5): Superb -
- Susmita (7/5): Great location and environment! - Location was superb! The view from the cabin was worth every penny! The location was also very serene and appeared to be very safe. The cabins are very close to the town centre, about 5 mins drive. The animals on the farm were a bonus for our toddler! Mixing the water in the shower was quite difficult. We were trying to be respectful of the water supply as much as we could however found that the amount of time it took to mix the water to get it to a reasonable temperature was very long and wasted a lot of water.
The coffee in the kitchen seemed to be expired and lumpy, unless it was just the bottle that was old.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Fabulous farm stay, fun thing to see and do. We all had an awesome time and loved the cabin, and surrounding areas. The - Our family loved the location and the beautiful views. The cabin was fantastic and the kids loved the goats 🐐 horse and pony as well as the pool There was nothing not to like everything was great
- Jin (10/5): Great farm stay for family - Very friendly farm owner
Great family farm stay experience A bit out of date facilities
- Kel (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect farm set up, absolutely loved the little goats and the scenery ❤️
- Emma (8/5): Very good -
- Tasuli (3/5): overprice - location good The size of bed is out of the standard, suitable for dwarfs only.
