• Ashlea (4/5): Was an okay stay, probably would not go back through the private agent however. - The location was great, close to the main beach, close to the tram stop, shops and supermarkets. The motel had great onsite facilities like the pools, restaurant an games room. The lack of housekeeping and overall cleanliness of the property was very concerning. When we arrived and looked in the cupboards and fridge there was left over food - some very moldy - these had clearly not been cleaned. We never got fresh towels or sheets during our stay (10 nights long) and only had 2 dishwasher tablets/washing liquids/dish washing liquids. This did not go very far at all, especially when washing our towels daily and sheets while there for the stay. Not having any housekeeping or a way to clean bathrooms etc ourselves while there for 10 days felt quite disgusting. Would have been nice to have something to do this with or someone to come do this while there for such an extended stay. We requested an early check in - however the property did not make contact with us to let us know if this was possible which was extremely frustrating. The bathroom showers leaked water throughout the bathrooms which became very frustrating as we needed to us the towels to clean this up and then get these washed to use for showering.

• Laura (9/5): Great location, perfect for families, pool, restaurant, views! - Lovely apartment, perfect for families - highly recommend. Restaurant was fantastic, pool great - would be better with a pool bar 😉 The bathrooms are a poor design with not enough fall given for water to flow into the appropriate drain. This meant lots of water on the floor, very slippery tiles and my 5yr having quite a nasty slip on our last night. Thankfully no harm done, but was very close to hitting her head on the toilet as that is how far the water travels from the shower (from one side of the bathroom to the other)

• Phil (2/5): would not go back - not much at all Key collection was terrible, instructions were not clear with conflicting information on location of keys, it took over an hour to sort out with multiple phone calls to get the right location, box and code. Property is very tired, needs renovation, missing handles on cabinets etc. not as clean as I would expect, minimal facilities soap etc. Noise from Neighbours talking outside all night. Poor quality for the $ paid.
• Kerryn (10/5): Great family holiday that captured both elegance, style all within a family friendly environment - The accommodation was exactly what we hoped for and the property itself was very nice! Other than the old Lab restaurant area looking a little unkept, we had no complaints at all.

Awful. - Not much Shower pours out all over the floor, had to use our towels to clean it and they wouldnt replace them. Broken toilet seat Broken lock on the bathroom door Handles missing from the vanity Holes in the curtains Cant open the wash/mach lid

Thought i paid over $3500 for a week to be able to tidy but not scrub spotless! Ok so beds weren't stripped all dirty dishes were in dishwasher & all rubbish were in bins but i had disinfected the whole place while staying there due to having small children there that I was worried would get sick if I didn't. Plus at 10am sharp I had cleaners at the door complaining that I should be more organised & practically told us we were pigs for not having the place to their standard! Honestly anyone looking for accommodation, don't waist your money as I list my $300 bond due to this, which I have never had happen before and stayed at many 5star places which this place would be Max a 3 star being generous! Location and community pool area. • Jacqueline (6/5): Large spacious apartment. - The apartment is large. The beds are comfortable. We stayed as a group of six and the space within the apartment was appreciated. The lock box was broken - we were told to use our car keys to essentially break it open. The balcony was dirty. The balcony chairs and table were dirty. The main shower head nozzle was broken. This apartment cost a lot of money - we expected more.

Indoor and outdoor pools with plenty of loungers. There was nothing not to like. Walking distance to hopo ferry, beach and surfers cavill Ave. Highly recommend! Nothing

• Darren (6/5): Get your act together Mantra! - The pool Apartment was good No bars or cafe only a pool kiosk with a basic menu that only take’s cash No restaurant for Breakfast, Lunch ,no buffet that it used to have No parking for second vehicle couldn’t even pay for a spare car park had to find parking offsite Thai restaurant was only average despite all the awards it has won Used to be a terrific place to stay looks run down Because we hadn’t booked though Mantra the reception I felt couldn’t care less

Thank you for filling your cupboards with every kitchen item you could possibly need. The coffee machine saved the day Nothing

• Marcus (5/5): In all the crown mantra is a very good property to stay at - The location is great as it close to the strip the kitchen and room well renovated and user friendly. Access to unit good with secure lift balcony great with great ability to sit outside pool facilities very good bathrooms were clean and updated from the last time we stayed Pity the cleaning was not very good carpets very dirty and needed vacuuming on our arrival the window sills in kitchen had a thick layer of cooking fat on them as did the plug socket surrounds under the beds was a large amount of dust and dirt beds really need to be moved when cleaning is done windows appear not to have been cleaned for some time. Pity the only restaurant is the Thai as a nice family restaurant on site would be plus As older people and from New Zealand we found it hard to understand the code system to get into property at beginning we had two separate parties travelling and having to wait until about last minute to get access code made travelling a little stressful but the team through and the codes.

• Sarah (7/5): Great apartment lacking some essential items - The apartment was comfortable and conveniently located The property had 2 rolls of toilet paper for 6 guests staying 3 nights No bin bags at the property but we were expected to remove all rubbish before leaving Some beds had no blanket/doona only sheets, beds that did have doonas were not fitted with covers
• Carolann (8/5): Very good - Indoor and outdoor pool in addition to separate children's pool. Well equiped kitchen and tv's in each room. Instructions for car park were difficult to follow and staff member at reception did not speak clear English therefore had difficulty assisting.

Easy key collection and great communication from apartment management. Kids loved the resort style pool. Short walk to beach and Cavill Ave. Replenishment stock of toilet paper and bin bags could be better but otherwise no complaints.
