No camcelation til already arrived in London and arrived at the place - Booked to stay for the night weeks in advance travelled all way from Liverpool to London with my son to be told they had cancelled and then switched home of rudest business man I've ever met don't waste your time and money. Couldn't find another hotel as was jingle bell ball and had to travel bk home took me 8 hours waste of all my moneyey and son was devasted Very rude. Security man was a nice man
• Fern (1/5): My advice...DO NOT BOOK WITH THESE PEOPLE! The notice given for cancellation 3 hours before arrival. - What did you like? Not a blessed thing — I did not even have the opportunity to stay at this property due to a LAST-MINUTE cancellation by them! And that is no exaggeration. Oh, the only thing that was done properly (un-property-related), and very quickly, was the refund. They processed this as quickly as they gave me the flimsy excuse for the cancellation! I did not like the fact I was contacted 40 minutes after receiving a WhatsApp message, giving me the name of the nearest tube station to the property and instructions for when I arrive, informing me that the booking had to be cancelled because the bed was broken when it was inspected. Little notice. Flimsy excuse. In my distress, I forgot to ask who I was speaking to, so I sent a WhatsApp message. The respondent wrote, and this is word-for-word, "I am just a worker, my name is Michael. I gave you your full refund and screenshot as well. Please I am doing work don't message me repeatedly. We already gave you refund." I wrote asking to please supply the name of the manager. I received no reply. This all occurred on the afternoon of 24th September 2025. They score 9/10 for the refund and 0/10 for customer service handled by 'Michael' and the totally rubbish excuse for the cancellation.

• Amanda (1/5): - HOST CANCELLED & REFUSES REFUND. I booked this property, and the host cancelled 2 hours before arrival. He promised a full refund but has ignored every call and message since the 29th of September. He picked up when my partner called him from another number and asked for my details for the refund..... then never sent the money. Absolutely unacceptable behaviour from someone renting accommodation. Avoid the host and property at all costs. Totally untrustworthy and unprofessional.

• Emma (1/5): Offered refund when at property knowing we had no other options to find alternative accommodation - They moved us on the day to a complete other site, it was not a apartment just a room in a shared apartment. Totally not what we booked in any way, no locks on the door not safe for three lone female. no understanding that being moved a hour before arrival as a issue, and not in a place that is suitable or like what we booked.
• Begum (2/5): The stay was disappointing due to being placed in the wrong property the first night, a poorly maintained bathroom, and - The first night I stayed in was put in the wrong property in a tiny room and not the property I booked. Although the issue was fixed and I was moved to the correct placement the next day and was fine there, I was dissatisfied with the fact the fact that the mistake was made in the first place. I didn’t like the bathroom because the shower door wouldn’t close properly and the water would leak so I couldn’t shower properly. On top of this the room wasn’t as clean as I would’ve expected.

I was surprised as I found the booked apartment at number 17 Newport Avenue, East india. The room was not swept, window broken, no heater and bathroom shared with other three rooms. Very old and dirty. I went with my 6months old child and really felt sorry for her. I need an explanation for this because 02 Arena that I booked was definitely not 17 Newport Avenue, East India. I need compensation for this.

Poor customer service ! - Booked a family room for 4 adults, told on the day that our booking had been cancelled, given an alternative for same price (had to take it as we had a gig to get to), nobody bothered to meet us, room was not as advertised, sofa bed was too small for 2 adults, hard as nails to sleep on, not enough bedding or towels (ones provided had marks on). Shared bathroom was gross, so we couldn't use the shower, limescale everywhere, looked like it hadn't seen a cleaner in months, TV had nowhere to plug it in (pointless having one), room too tiny for 4 adults, nowhere to put anything, no hooks, cupboards or shelves, out of date milk. Place didn't smell that great either. I would not stay again and would not recommend.

• alexander (1/5): Do not recommend read reviews, do not book this so called apartment! - Nothing On arrival there was another family in the apartment, we were not advised of multi occupancy. We were expected by you to share a bedroom with our special needs disabled 20 year old daughter, this was impossible! The TV had no aerial and no Wifi, the shower room was absolutely disgusting pictures attached, the smoke alarm was hidden in a drawer, this is against Health & Safety, the fan did not work, the place was filthy and should not be advertised as an Apartment, we had to leave and source adequate accommodation due to your inaccurate description of this apartment, for our daughter which was not an easy task due to her needs, she was extremely distraught and ruined her experience. We want full refund as we did not stay. Booking.com should be ashamed and disallowed to advertise such a misrepresentation. If we do not receive our full refund we will go legal with this.

Nach Stundenlangen diskutieren hat es den Anschein gemacht dass der gebuchte Ort gar nicht zum Anbieter gehört. Der andere Ort kann man mit einem Ghetto Vergleichen in 5min Takt fuhr die Polizei mit Blaulicht durch. Der Anbieter ist meiner Meinung nach ein Betrüger. Wir hätten noch fast das Konzert verpasst wegen diesem Theater. Bei Booking war die Unterkunft in der Nähe des Station dann aber war es das Gegenteil. Und das Beste daran ist das der Anbieter noch gebeten hat eine gute Wertung abzugeben. An Dreistigkeit kaum noch zu überbieten

• Guest (3/5): Disappointed, dirty and strange - Room was big enough for our group At first they relocated us as we were about to get into London, canclled 2 rooms we booked so we all had to squeeze into one room, one of us on the sofa. Secondly, the bedding was filthy. Multiple stains all over the bed, brown and black stains everywhere, It had clearly not been washed. The smell in the room was disgusting and wouldn’t leave. Lastly, we were told we had to be out by 10, we were preparing to leave the room, and at around 10 to 10, 2 men come into our room and walk out. We had no clue what was going on, we went to see what was happening and they said they were sorting out a washing machine. Very unsatisfied with how this stay went, it is the bare minimum to have washed bedding. There are more photos but I can only add a select few.
• Guest (1/5): Never again! - It was a good distance to over ground We were not aware that it was shared accommodation, it stated whole apartment on booking. We arrived to find a family of 3 there and me and my friend had to share a small double bed. The toilet was blocked and filled to the brim with human excrement, the host was there and aware and did nothing to solve. It was the only toilet in the apartment so we couldn't use the bathroom at all. The smell in the apartment was horrific and we were up and out by 7.30am because of the stench. Nothing was done to solve this.

• Sashidhar (1/5): Cheater Host - Alloting different room against as shown in booking - Host is cheater alloting different rooms against what is shown in the portal. The Host is cheating guests by alloting a different small room and not as shown in above picture while booking. Booking.com is also responsible for not verifying the rooms shown at the time of Booking. We were given a small congested room with a non closing / broken shower glass door in the bathroom and non operating standing fan in the summer. Other facilities like kitchen, washing machine,AC ,Balcony, Sofa....... were locked n not accessible. Mr Mohammud was rude when told about 8 bags luggage ( including hand bags) being brought by 3 of us. He even threatened me that he will not allow us to checkin for raising about his rudeness with customer service. I had to call customer service multiple times but nothing was sorted and I was destined to lose my complete booking amount. Hence I had to go ahead and stay in this situation and with a compromised small room n fear of not getting alternate accommodation in the last minute. We were also exhausted with 10 hours flight from usa. After boldly reaching the property and making multiple attempts to reach the host,he responded later and check in was done. We had booked looking at the apartment picture as shown above but got cheated by the host. Booking.com is equally responsible for not taking actions and not helping guest durimg check in about these issues and having poor due diligence in property postings verifications n offerings by hosts. The Room alloted is different from room booked. The Host and Booking.com are equally responsible and are cheating clients I have the video of the room and can Share too. We feel cheated as paid the amount believing we get what is shown. Guests remain silent as don't want trouble while on vacation and later too.

Super close to the train station and has a shop near by The pictures promoting the room is not the same as where we stayed don’t get fooled. Lied about the address on the booking. They promised a private room with 2 double beds and we got a shared apartment with 1 double bed and a small sofa for 3 people. Had a shared bathroom with the other guests who stayed there. Not the cleanest.
• Piotr (3/5): Poor - There was plenty of space, even for more people than we had(5). The host demanded extra money (£20) for the parking space. There was only 1 towel(!), 3 spoons, 2 knives and no forks for the five of us. There is almost no cutlery and other kitchen utensils, along with other wares to make meals. The boiler for hot water was also heating up the radiators, which we could not switch off. They were going on for most of the night, despite it being the middle of the summer. It's also very loud outside throughout the night. The bathroom is poorly maintained, although mostly clean.

The room states one bedroom appartment. When we arrived he gave 2 small tiny rooms which were filthy I have pictures. I asked where the room was I had booked he said someone else was in it which we had to share a bathroom with. Nowhere on the advertising when I booked it said other people would be staying with us and we would be sharing a bathroom. One room the window was brown left wide open. Smelly black banana and other food left in one room. Bed had stains, carpets so dirty hadn’t been hovered in a long time. The bathroom dirty towels from the other guests very very disappointed. The pictures on the advertisement of the bathroom, bedroom and outdoor terrace completely different place. It also stated we would have a kitchen which we did not. • Natalja (1/5): Bad - Nothing. We booked a 3-person apartment and were sent the address, so we pre-booked a taxi to the airport for the next morning. When we arrived in London we asked if we could arrive early or arrive late at night due to us attending a concert. They said we could arrive at midnight with no issues and to phone them when we are on our way. So, we phone them and surprise we have been given a new address and cannot stay in our original apartment. We couldn't change our taxi booking or get a refundable taxi. So, we had to leave early and pay for an Uber to take us to the original address so that we could get our taxi. Do not book with these people. They will make changes without your permission or knowledge and will not pay for any expenses that are caused by their actions. Absolute terrible experience. We will not be back.

• Anonymous (1/5): I would strongly encourage you NOT to stay here as it’s likely to be dirty and the staff don’t seem to care about issues - Good location in London. The staff were very confusing to talk to, disorganised and unhelpful. The apartment was dirty and had other people dirty towels and clothes still in the wardrobes. The toilet had been used and faeces was still in the bowl. We had one towel given between three of us to use. The place hadn’t been cleaned and most pillows and bed sheets had stains or various liquids on them. Staff insisted that the place had been cleaned, yet after me raising concerns of the cleanliness the staff ignored my request of the place being cleaned and remained unhelpful.
• Sarah (1/5): Absolutely Disgusting - Nothing Everything. Host was rude, location was nothing like the pictures. The Room wasn't hoovered, the bathroom was disgusting. Dirt all around the bath, shower curtain hung by a piece of string. Toilet seat barely hanging on.
• Anonymous (4/5): Fine for one night. - Proximity to train. Local shop is excellent. Not a deluxe room by any stretch. Bathroom needs attention all fittings tired, stained and felt neglected. Most worrying was one of the windows didn't have a handle on it on the 6th floor booked as a family room so opened easily when pushed and also meant didn't shut properly so constant road noise. Noisy communal entrance to a number of rooms. Not clear it's in a residential block.

• Lisa (3/5): Very short just slept (with banging doors continuously) and left - Nothing about the property but was convenient location for the O2. What was advertised and paid for was not what we were given. I have booked a deluxe room with an ensuite. The description on booking.com is nothing like what you get. The room was so basic and while clean was nothing like the picture and smelt of bleach. There was a shared bathroom that was disgusting, dirty and just horrible. There was also no hot water for a shower. The instructions as to where to meet the owner I had to chase as I didn’t hear anything. I would not stay at this property again. When I contacted the owner he said I had been given an upgrade with a balcony. The balcony had an office chair and that was it (see photo).
• Faye (3/5): Poor - Secure parking It was nothing like the photos, the oven didn’t work, we had to share a bathroom when we book for an entire apartment, unfortunately the list is endless
• Skye (6/5): The room its self was decent. Ideal for a one night stay. The shared bathroom let it down for us. It stayed private bat - Clean and comfy.ideal for a one night stay to get your head down. Had to share a bathroom even though it stated private bathroom. Strong smell of weed in the corridor and outside on balcony. Lots of banging early hours of the morning.

• Leah (3/5): Poor - This is not an apartment as stated. We were given a room inside an apartment where other people were staying. Luckily we had our own bathroom however this was filthy! Hair in the shower which was clearly used that morning and not cleaned. I had to rinse the shower before it could be used. The floor was filthy also throughout. No facilities as stayed. Kettle still in box but no tea/coffee/milk. Total false advertising in my opinion and would definitely not recommend.
• Zkong (1/5): DISASTER & NIGHTMARE - If you are looking for scams, then this is the right place for you! I booked a deluxe apartment with a fireplace. I got an apartment with an old bed and a worn-out kitchen. The whole apartment had a sweet, rancid smell. Which later turned out to be a breeding ground for bed bugs. The included bathroom turned out to be a shared bathroom. You had to share the completely run-down bathroom with two other apartments. The bathroom was neither clean nor did the hygiene products exist as described. During my stay I washed myself at the sink because the shower tray was so dirty that I was disgusted to even set foot in the shower. STAY AWAY FROM THIS ACCOMMODATION!!! I am a frequent traveler and never seen before!!! Summary: Dirty, parasites and unacceptable!!
• Laura (1/5): do not stay here - the location was good and close to transport it had an overwhelming stench and it was filthy, the man who ran the property was difficult and tried to get me to send money to his personal bank. we had to share a bathroom which was advertised as private bathroom. it was disgusting the floor was filthy and no hot water. i can’t get over how bad this place smelt and how dirty it was.
• Megan (1/5): Unclean, shared apartment! - This is a room within an apartment with other people. Shared bathroom and kitchen even though it is advertised as a private bathroom! When we spoke to them they offered to move us in an uber which as females we were uncomfortable with. Owner told us we had an upgrade because we had a balcony which isn’t what I paid for. Shower didn’t work properly, had to call them out. Bathroom was hairy and not clean. Would not stay here!
