- Luboš (1/5): !!! Not recommended, hidden charges, unhelpful owner, very noisy !!! - !!!Please be aware that this accommodation comes with hidden extra charges. The owner requires a deposit to be paid via PayPal, with all PayPal fees charged to the guest. As a result, you will receive back roughly 10% less than you originally sent. For international guests, there is also the issue of double currency exchange, which causes further losses. During our stay, there was no hot water. Although the apartment has been renovated, it is located in an old building and the noise from neighboring units is very noticeable. We arrived about 30 minutes before the official 5:00 PM check-in time and had to wait in the hallway, as the owner refused to provide the access code earlier, even though the apartment was already ready. This was very disappointing. !!!

- Melissa (8/5): Nice stay for a short trip! - The apartment was large and in a quiet neighborhood close to the bus. Bus was just around the corner as well as a Bixi bike rack (the rental bikes of Montreal). Owner was very communicative and nice! Parking was free, street parking was easy to navigate. The apartment was clean but there was wear and tear here and there. You can tell it’s a well used Airbnb. The walls are thin so you can hear the upstairs neighbors walking/talking (it’s technically in the basement). It’s far from most things you would want to do in Montreal without a car, it took us about 40min-1hour via public transportation.
