Dinah (8/5): Lovely, private cottage. One of four tastefully set around the pool and shielded by vegetation. Recommend. - The cottage w loft was a perfect layout -comfortable, private, very pretty, beautiful woodwork, a short walk from playa pelada and restaurants. While I appreciate security, and not having to carry a key around when I head to the beach, the number of codes necessary was a bit much.

sylvio (10/5): lindo condominio num bairro estritamente residencial e perto da praia lindissima - qualidade da construcao e instalacoes. lindissima e tudo novo! nao ter contato c anfitriao por whatsapp ou fone e apenas por email. chegamos dia 25 dez e precisavamos falar como por exemplo dizer q faltou travesseiro e secador de cabelo e por ser feriado, nao tinhamos com quem falar!

Cameron (10/5): Cosy spot nestled in the jungle! - The room and the grounds are amazing. The road to the property sometimes requires a 4x4 drive or quad during rainy season. But that’s not the fault of the property. The property is amazing.

Hailey (10/5): A Perfect Spot - We loved our stay at La Joya! The space was beautiful. It was full of everything we needed and was clean and very comfortable. The outdoor space was great and we really enjoyed having the pool. The hosts were very friendly and had lots of great tips for things to see and do in the area. For our family of 3 it was the perfect spot! Playa Pelada is quieter so if you're looking for some nightlife you will need to travel into guiones. That being said, getting tuk tuks was very easy and a great alternative to driving.

Michael (10/5): Exceptional - Leslie is a wonderful host. She recommended many things we could do during our stay.The facilities are very well equipped with all the amenities from household appliances, AC and hot water. One of the best places for vacations in the area. The road is under repair and it is difficult to arrive in a small vehicle. Of the place itself, the pool had a little more chlorine than it could bear because I have very sensitive skin. Nothing to change my opinion that it is a great place to stay.
