- ARRABAL CASTRO (1/5): -

- Vik (9/5): Excellent - Location great, modern facilities

- Anna (7/5): - Posizione ottima!! Cucina poco attrezzata
- Zeeshan (9/5): - Apartment was nice and clean and good facilities. Location 10min breezy walk to colloseum. Really well ventilated and showers were good.matresses were comfy. Carla waited for us as we had a late flight. She was really lovely and helpful. Could have done with a proper ironing board stand. More towels and dirty linen basket. AC also leaked. Could have done with a chair to like sit and do shoes helpful for someone with back issues
The ensuite bedroom bed is floor bed but it was comfy.
- Sebastian (9/5): Comodadidad y ubicación - Comodidades ! Tenía todo, no le falta nada ! Hasta buena ubicación, cercana al coliseo ! Todo correcto !
- ZACDDY (9/5): -
- Angela (7/5): Good - The listing stated there were 3 beds. There were 3 beds in the photos. However, there were no sheets for the foldout bed and we couldn't get it to fold out properly. As a result, my 16 year old son slept on the very short couch with whatever linens my other son and I could spare from our beds.
Everything else was excellent. Actually having a 3rd bed would have made this a 10/10.
- Kyra (8/5): Very enjoyable - Nice easy apartment to find within close distance to everything Only air conditioning in the main room so the back bedrooms got quite hot with the doors closed
- Nedyalka (10/5): Exceptional - A little non-standard apartment, but clean and comfortable. Perfect for our 5 days stay in Rome (3 adults + 1 child).
Very good location. Metro and bus stations nearby. 15 minutes walk to popular places in Rome. Kind and helpful Host. Highly recommend!
- Angela (7/5): Perfect location - Location was perfect. It’s about 15 minutes walk from the main train station and less than 5 minutes from the metro. We were able to walk to almost all the main sites, only used the metro once during our 4 day stay. There are also so many restaurants & shops in the area.
It had a washing/ dryer that worked well. Also had 2 bathrooms which was great with four people. Even though it’s at street level it has a basement feel - small high windows, dark and a damp smell.
Kitchen was very camped and not very well equipped.
- Elaine (8/5): Very good - Great location
- Kalinov (10/5): location of the apartment it’s perfect in the center of Rome 5 minutes from Colosseum, clean, modern, with all needs inside - Location perfect
- Amber (9/5): Superb - Great location
- Gloria (9/5): Superb -
- Diana (5/5): Passable -
- Monica (9/5): Very nice flat, great location - Host was there to give us the keys and showed us the flat and facilities. It has washing and drying machine, and 2 bathrooms. It is on the ground floor!!! Very spacious and well equipped! The water in the shower on the suite bathroom was not draining properly, but it wasn't a massive problem. Just to note that I hadn't reported to the host as we had little time in Rome.
- Efe (8/5): Very good - Location was nice and it had all you need for short time city visit.
- Jennifer (5/5): If it wasn’t for the air con issue, I would have rated higher. Good location (if not a bit small) and wasn’t too noisy. - Location and it was clean. From pictures, thought it would be bigger than expected. Ok for a family of 4, but anymore than that would be a squeeze Air con did not work. In a 38 degree heat, it was badly needed! Found it hard to sleep because of this. Made noise, but no air coming from it. Read previous reviews with same complaint, so this issue isn’t new.
- Srihari (9/5): Superb -
- Luigi (3/5): Poor -
- Nick (1/5): Never again... - The location was OK -Extremely small
-Unhygienic (mushroom growing in shower cubicle)
-Broken air-conditioning
-Host avoiding communication, unwilling to even provid us with fans. Not even an apology.
- Shah (4/5): Disappointing - The location of the property is good in terms of convenience - it's just a short walk away from the colosseum and there are shops, bars and restaurants nearby. The property is clean and tidy and well kitted out. I found it unhelpful though that there is a dishwasher and washing machine but you are expected to buy your own detergents, thereby making them useless. Local shops sell the stuff but are very expensive and it's not worth the purchase for a few days. Unfortunately we had a poor experience staying here as the host was most unhelpful. The air conditioning was not working in July and the heat in the property was unbearable. We had children with us so you can imagine how hard this was. Initially the host sent instructions for us to fix it ourselves. It's almost as if he didn't believe us that it wasn't working. It took him over two days to finally send someone out to fix it after we'd given up and asked him not to bother. Our total stay was only four days so we spent most of it in extreme discomfort. We rang him twice and he didn't answer either time - we never actually had a conversation with him. He replied to WhatsApps but didn't answer our questions/queries which was very frustrating. July is very hot in Rome but we couldn't enjoy the comfort in the accommodation that we'd paid for.
Apart from this, the area is extremely noisy at night. It's difficult to get a proper night's sleep with building works, traffic and people socialising right outside the property.
The two beds were comfortable but if you're unlucky enough to get the sofa bed then expect uncomfortable sleep for your entire stay.
The host texted to ask what time we'd like to leave on the last day. We said after lunchtime to coincide with our flight. He then replied to say that the check out is at 10am and we must leave by then. It seemed ridiculous to ask what time we'd like to leave if he'd already decided what time we were going anyway. The cleaning lady was there before 9.30am, not even 10am, which was the agreed leaving time.
Overall the host was not welcoming or helpful during our stay. In fact we found him to be inflexible and unaccommodating and communication is very poor. Hopefully you don't experience any problems during your stay because dealing with the host is very frustrating.
- Edi (9/5): Great Roman place to stay. - The location was absolutely perfect - close to most attractions. Beds were very comfortable which made resting up for a great day of sightseeing perfect. The accommodation had a great Italian authentic ambience. The addition of a floor viewing panel of ruins was also a lovely quirky addition. If I had to nit pick - the couch could have been a little bigger.
- Kerry (6/5): Perfect location, Tiny, Ghost Hosts. - The location is why you want this place. Easily walkable to the Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Vittorio Emmanuel monument and 5-minute walk to the subway station (Cavour). We walked there from Termini train station with luggage which was a bit of a trek on cobblestones.
There is an abundance of good restaurants & cafes within a block, and it’s a fairly busy Roman neighborhood. The apartment is clean & modern. This is a basement apartment with two tiny bedrooms and beds that take up 90% of the floor space. There is no room for other furniture . We were a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 teens) and the place was way too small for us. With the sleeper-couch deployed in the entry-way, there is no place to get comfortable other than sitting on the beds. There is a small table (bolted to the wall) on the kitchen, and barely enough room for one person to move about in there. I would not recommend this place for large people or a group more that 3.
The showers are tiny (not unusual in Europe) and the hot water runs out after one long (or 2 short) showers.
The air conditioning was broken our entire stay, which the hosts knew about (but didn’t tell us until after we got there). They told us a repairman was scheduled to fix it our second day there (they asked permission to allow entry) but nobody showed up. After pestering for an update they ghosted us and stopped responding. We ended up sleeping with the front door wide open to allow air flow (there is a screen & outer gate which we locked with a key for security) and one small window high up in the en-suite bathroom to promote air flow. We were here in mid-June and the temperatures were not unbearable, but it was still a bit stifling and uncomfortable, and super noisy since we had to leave the front door open. This place would be unbearable to stay in the hotter months (July - October) if it didn’t have robust air conditioning. Since the hosts/operators were so unresponsive, I would ask them directly to pay for alternative accommodations if the air conditioning isn’t working when you arrive.
- Antonio (9/5): Beautiful apartment, in a great location - Only inconvenience was we only had one set of keys, but I’m sure if you ask the host, he will give you another set
- Glen (8/5): Very good -
- Barbara (8/5): Very good - Perfect location for all the sights & restaurants
- Edward (10/5): Great location clean and tidy - Location location location Ants
- Linda (7/5): Very convenient and quiet. - Location was great and quiet. Extra blankets for beds, more tea/coffee provided and milk, extra toilet paper (we were there 3 days and only 1 roll of toilet paper provided, perhaps some olive oil, salt/pepper etc..
- Kim (9/5): Great location in a lovely Rome neighbourhood. Major attractions close by. Helpful host, check in - Great location in a lovely Rome neighbourhood. Major attractions close by. Helpful host, check in was easy. Thank-you The electric cooktop was a touch hard to use but we worked it out. A kettle would be useful for tea drinkers.
- Gemma (2/5): Stay here at your own risk - The location was great, very close to good restaurants, shops, and attractions like the colosseum and the Roman forum. Firstly, the host acted unprofessionally before we arrived at the booking. He sent me a WhatsApp message notifying me that my credit card was not working but he did not introduce himself or provide any context. I did not answer as it could have easily been a scam. We ended up paying on arrival, but he charged me about 100 USD extra than the price listed on the booking. Once we arrived, there were several major issues that the host did not seem to care about at all. On the first night, when we tried to use the washing machine, it broke open in the middle of washing and flooded the kitchen and living room. Luckily we were in the apartment and acted quickly to contain the water. Then we spent over an hour cleaning up the gallons of water. If we had not been there the whole apartment would have been flooded, likely damaging the apartment and our belongings. We notified the host immediately. It turned out that he knew the washing machine was broken but had neglected to tell us! He did not seem concerned and only offered to bring us replacement towels since we had used them all to clean up. This was Saturday night; no towels showed up until Monday morning. Meanwhile, our laundry was completely soaked and we had to pay for it to get washed and dried at a laundromat. Then, on Tuesday morning, the day we checked out, there was no running water in the apartment. I again notified the host immediately and he did nothing to remedy the situation. We were not able to take showers or use the sinks from when we woke up until checking out. The host never apologized or offered to help once. Truly terrible experience.
- Anthony (8/5): It was in a great spot with everything you need. - Two bathrooms with showers, separate living room and kitchen. Each room was a little tight.
- Geoff (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tan (6/5): Pleasant -
- Diane (6/5): Pleasant - We had what I thought was good communication with Emilio, keeping him up to date with our journey however we were left waiting outside the property for 30 mins after our arrival time. When we got in the beds hadn't been made and we were left with a bag of dirty bedsheets in the living room.
- Janice (5/5): Not for those sensitive to cigarette smoke. - Good location. Spacious apartment. Extremely strong cigarette smell throughout the entire apartment that never dissipated during our 2 night stay despite leaving windows and the front door open. This was mentioned to management and the response was “sorry, the last occupants were rude”. What?
- Ni (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing stay: perfect for a few days I. Rome. Great location. Really clean and cool (air conditioned). Very modern and great showers and comfortable bed: highly recommend
- Georgina (10/5): Beautiful Apartment - Quiet Suburb - A Must - Ground floor apartment with all the amenities as stated in the listing. Communication very responsive. Numerous mini supermarkets close by as well as restaurants without the noise of car traffic. 30-40 minutes walk to shopping strips (in 43 degree heat) and Trevi Fountain. Very close walk to the Colosseum - 15-20 mins walk. Take i. of the sites day and night - they are very wondrous! We would stay here again for sure. Nothing that comes to mind.
- Sonia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nesrine (9/5): We had such a great time at this property - The flat was very well equipped, super clean and with great location within 10-15min walking distance from most sites Lack of windows and natural light but this was not an issue at all as the place was great
- Juraj (10/5): Perfect location, modern apartment near the city center - The location is amazing, the host was a pleasure to communicate with, the apartment is modern & perfect for a family/small friend group to stay at while visiting Rome. Tons of restaurants/cafes nearby, and the historic center is within a walking distance. We were a group of 5, and the beds were perfect, but the convertible sofa is uncomfortable, so I would say that this apartment is absolutely perfect for up to 4 people, and a bit less comfortable for 5-6.
- Rogelio (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lucia (9/5): Superb - Location Little squeezy for 5
- Shabnam (9/5): Superb -
- Dave (10/5): Perfect. Excellent location. Lovely apartment. - Location was perfect. Really central. The apartment was lovely, clean, well equipped. Just perfect.
- Iryna (10/5): Cozy modern and super clean apartment, with Colosseum around the corner - Beautiful and very comfy apartment, literally 5-7 mins walk to Colosseum. You have everything you need there - fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, iron, hairdryer and two! bathrooms. Cleanliness I would rate at 11, not even 10.
Emilio, the host, is so attentive and accommodating. The area around is full of great restaurants, cafes and shops, and all the main attractions are walking distance away. We really enjoyed our 4 nights there, thank you very much! Highly recommended! Nothing
- Jackie (10/5): Exceptional -
- İsmail (10/5): Harika - It was a very modern and clean room with very good tools. All is new technology. Also the destination is very good. We can reach all touristic points with walking. There is a market on back street and there are so many good restaurans near of the hotel.
- Wendy (10/5): I stayed here with my family, there was 5 of us. The host was great, very helpful. Everywhere was walking distance for u - the property was nice and clean, was a lovely layout as well there’s a limitation to the hot water
