The location is close to the night life if that’s what you’re after. The hotel is falling apart. The shower faucet is broken, the bathroom light is broken, the floor dips, there are stains on the walls and ceilings. There is no sound insulation. You will hear everything that’s happening inside and outside the hotel. The market opens at 5am with sound blasting. Anything that had wood trim was getting eaten severely by termites. The management knows the issues, and during checkout without saying anything they mentioned the termite damage asked that we leave a positive review and gave us free parting gift. Just fix your hotel and the good reviews will come without bribes. It’s frustrating because I relied on these positive reviews to choose this hotel. I feel tricked and hope this review will lead to change.

• Miriam (1/5): NOT A 4 STAR HOTEL!!! - If this review were based on staff alone, I would happily give five stars. Ella and her colleagues couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful. They went out of their way to make our stay as smooth as possible, organising airport transfers, recommending places to visit, arranging meals, massages, pedicures and manicures, and so much more. Their hard work, warmth, and constant smiles were genuinely appreciated, and they are the only reason this hotel has any redeeming qualities. Unfortunately, friendly staff alone does not make a four‑star hotel, and in this case, the staff were the only positive aspect. I’m not sure what rating system is used in Vietnam, but this establishment is not a four star property. In truth, I would struggle to give it any stars at all. It feels more like a neglected hostel than a hotel. The first impression was worrying: the entrance sofa had ripped covers, and the overall atmosphere felt abandoned. Our room was no better. The curtains didn’t close properly, the air smelled mouldy, and there were ants everywhere. Paint was peeling off the walls, and the entire place desperately needs a full repaint and refurbishment. The bathroom continued the theme, mouldy tiles and old, flimsy towels that had clearly seen better days. On our final night, we went up to the rooftop to enjoy the view, which was indeed lovely, but the bar was closed and there was no staff around, so even that experience fell flat. It’s with a heavy heart that I write this review, because the staff truly deserve praise. They are the only five star element of this hotel. However, the current four star rating on Booking.com is misleading and does not reflect the actual condition of the property. Future guests should be aware that aside from the exceptional team, this hotel falls far below the standard it claims to offer.

Eventough the ”sky bar” was completely closed you were still alowed to bring your own snacks and drinks to the rooftop terrace. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with everything. The room we stayed in wasn’t as clean as it could have been but the bed and bedding was still in perfect condition.

Sie waren uns sehr zugewandt und haben alles dafür getan, unseren Aufenthalt zu etwas besonderem zu machen. Si haben uns gute Ausflugstipps gegeben, Eintrittskarten besorgt und für den Flughafenshuttle gesorgt. Die Klimaanlage ist leider in die Jahre gekommen und der Wasserduck der Dusche war spärlich.

• Melanie (4/5): Lage top, das Hotel selbst eher Flop - Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Lage für Ausflüge durch die Altstadt Hanois und Nähe zum Hoan Kiem See war sehr gut. Die Bilder bei Booking gehören teilweise nicht zu diesem Trang Trang Hotel (es gibt mehrere in der Stadt) und entsprechen somit nicht der Realität. Die Zimmer sind sehr heruntergekommen und es ist überall feucht im Gebäude. Überall sieht man den Verfall. Direkt vor dem Hotel ist ein Verkaufsstand, bei dem warmes, gebratenes Essen verkauft wird. Le Sky bar est fermé (depuis plusieurs mois d’après les commentaires), cela ne nous a pas embêté car beaucoup d’options aux alentours mais à savoir si c’est un de vos critères de réservation

Lúc đến thì thật sự không hiểu tại sao được đánh giá 10đ nhiều thế, khi checkout bạn nv hỏi: hôm qua chị nghỉ có vấn đề gì k? Nếu k, c cho em 10đ để nv có thưởng. Nếu bạn không làm vậy thì thực sự mình cũng k muốn report, bên bỏ cách câu view vì lòng thương của khách đi, như vậy sẽ khiến đánh giá không còn đúng sự thật

• Janice (8/5): Nice but not luxurious - Close to lots of good places to eat, very clean, great staff, the elevator. I checked into the wrong hotel but the Trang Trang Luxury hotel honored my reservation. Which was good of them. The breakfast was fabulous & delicious and they had a open deck on the 7th floor that was very nice. The room was so small that I could barely walk around the room. I had injured my leg and couldn’t use my cane in the room. The bottles of water were very small. I had to place my luggage on the bed or I could not move around. If the bed was changed to a single then that would be suitable for the room size.
