• Kristy (9/5): Loved our stay - Good communication from hosts, loved the lounge area upstairs, great kitchen. it was very clean, street was nice and quiet with great areas to go walking. We really loved our stay there. No front fence for the dog but I knew this when I booked. There was no powder for the dishwasher or washing machine but we had our own anyway.

Need some bedside light. It was cold at night, need extra quilt. It will be great to have fence around the backyard, pet can run free.

• Lily (3/5): Great location but lacked key amenities & unresolved issues - We recently stayed at The Caddy Shack and while the location was great and the house was tidy on arrival, our overall experience was affected by a few issues. We had come to relax and unwind, especially after busy days out, but unfortunately, the internet and TV didn’t work throughout our stay. This was disappointing, particularly for the kids who were hoping to watch something in the evenings. We informed the owners, but their response was delayed, and when I messaged again, we only received a message two days after checking out saying they would get it fixed. While it’s good that future guests might not have the same issue, it didn’t help us during our stay. Had this been addressed during our time there, we would’ve happily left a glowing review. The property itself has great potential, but when listed amenities aren’t available and there’s a lack of responsiveness, it can really take away from the experience.

• Kim (8/5): Very good, easy stay in a great location. Great host - Location, cost, cleanliness, communication all excellent. Close to water, supermarket, town, great food. 2 bathrooms made it easy. Fit 2 adults, 3 teens and a pre-teen with ease! Provided games (though we brought our own). Heaps of outdoor areas would be amazing in summer. Off street parking is easy! 1 wall heater only in the top story no heating in the bottom story. Not a huge deal as they provided huge amount of blankets to counteract this and it was the only thing I would consider a "dislike". And this is only because it's winter, and I have a medical condition where my body can't regulate temperature (so im a sook!). Still stayed above 10 degrees inside when it was less than 5 outside!

Spacious and perfect for multiple people. Clean and well equipped. Fantastic entertaining areas. Will be returning. Location perfect and close to beach, river and cafes. Plenty of parking. There was absolutely nothing we could suggest or complain about.
