He would do his utmost to ensure you had a great stay and visit of Charlottetown. The room were spacious, clean and the bed was really comfortable. Choices for breakfast over the 4 days were great and tasty. Was only 8 - 10 minutes walk from downtown Charlottetown. Very quiet location. Andy, thank you for the great stay and hospitality.

They could probably work on giving the rooms more character with some color on the walls and maybe some compliments around the room , so more personal touches . The house is beautiful but has a drab feel to it when you start looking around . So much potential . Breakfast was interesting , we had to clean off a table for ourselves due to the employee being hung up checking people out ( They did however apologize for this ) . Breakfast could of been a bit hotter , eggs were cold and meats and there were no cup available for coffee , had to ask for more cups .

Nothing is too much trouble we were able to wash and dry our clothes which was great especially as we were like drowned rats after a day out in the pouring rain! He was helpful with his suggestions of where to visit and park, not to mention us using the microwave. Good breakfast, crispy bacon (just as we like it) The rooms were very spacious and the beds were the most comfortable we stayed in through out our trip all in all a great stay! Thankyou Andy! Bathroom is a little dated, but everything was functional and the towels were exceptionally soft.

MARY (9/5): I will return to support Andy's Blue House. - The owner went above and beyond to accomodate us-just a very sweet man! And a good businessman - because I will return based on how he treated us. He drove us to our dinner reservation, brought up an extra soft chair in our suite and picked up soymilk for my coffee. The two bedrooms were spacious and absolutely spotless. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were well appointed. The bathroom definitely needs a renovation as it is very outdated, but it was very clean and I'm sure this is probably on the list of the owners future projects. The breakfast was included and was very good. I liked everything about this place, the owners, the price, the well appointed and comfortable bedrooms and I know at some point the bathroom will be modernized. I was happy that the apt. was so clean and the owner was so friendly. I will return because of how the owner treated us - he just went above and beyond. And the location is lovely, lots of free parking in a lovely neighbourhood.

Barry (10/5): Great stay in Charlottetown - Andy’s Blue House is centrally located, a short walk from the Confederation Centre for the Arts in Charlottetown. It is a large mansion dating from 1892 and has been converted into a very comfortable B&B. My room was spacious with a large comfortable bed. Andy is very personable and friendly. The breakfast could perhaps have a bit more variety.

Shumin (9/5): Comfortable stay in a rambling older home located within walking distance to the center - This B&B is about a 20-30 minute walk to the city center. My room, advertised as a family suite, was quite spacious with two large rooms; the main bedroom and another room with a sofa (assume sofa bed). The second room had a counter with a sink, many cupboards, a kettle and a microwave. Plates with utensils and coffee and tea were available in the room. The shower had good water pressure with plenty of hot water. The breakfast had many hot and cold options; eggs, bacon/sausage, dumplings, and one changing dish (vegetables, french toast and hash potatoes when I was there), cereal, fruit, bread (for toast), yogurt. Drinks were coffee, tea, orange juice, and lemon ice water. Check-in and checkout was efficient. Andy was very pleasant and allowed me to stay in the kitchen (there is no seating in the lobby) to wait for my taxi after checkout. Wifi was also quite good. Overall, a very pleasant stay in a quiet neighbourhood. There were many options for the TV but a bit spotty since it is a satellite service. Recommend a larger sign on the front lawn since I didn't know this was the place when I drove up and neither did the taxi.

I had a great sleep. The full breakfast was pretty good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I wish there was a portable burner and a few utensils so we could make our own stovetop coffee. The full fridge was great but it would be even better with a portable burner.
David (8/5): - The Blue House was a good place to stay. Andy and his wife were very helpful and it was good to meet the other residents at breakfast and swap information. Just one small suggestion, please try to keep the breakfast food hotter.

Lynn (8/5): Two night stay - Breakfast was very good, and very tasty. Andy is a gracious host making your stay very welcoming. Parking was easy. Distance to downtown Charlottetown was farther than we thought but if fit, walkable for sure. The outside of the establishment could use some tender loving care. But inside is lovely and very clean.

Kristina (9/5): Very clean, quiet and comfortable. - The family suite was perfect for us as we were traveling with an adult son. The two bedrooms rooms were separated with common entryway and shared bath. The beds and pillows were very clean comfortable. Communication with the host was excellent. The breakfast could use a slight improvement.

Mark (8/5): We would happily stay at Andy’s again as it is a good base to tour island and is reasonably priced. - Andy was an excellent host. Very keen to assist. Parking space very helpful as was availability of laundry facilities. Good breakfast. A 20 minute direct walk to harbour front or a longer attractive stroll around t he point. Some areas inside house need a little attention and upgrading.
Katarina (10/5): - This was a great place to stay with our 3 year old. We had a two bedroom suite with a kitchenette that made our stay very easy and lovely. The location was great for all the things we wanted to do and see. And Andy is very organized and friendly. Would definitely go back.

Laura (9/5): - Extremely large rooms (we had a suite that actually was an apartment). The owners are very kind and friendly. Very nice and quiet neighborhood. The house is quite old; sufficiently restored to be comfortable. With substantial more work it could be amazing.

We had to ask for plates and cutlery to use in our room - although we had a fridge and a microwave there weren’t any kitchen items. Andy provided these and even got us a can opener. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was enjoyable

Sarah (9/5): Lovely Bed and Breakfast experience - Andy was very nice. Met us at the door and showed us to our room. Breakfast was good. Nice, quiet location. Bed was a little smaller than we are used to but it was comfortable. TV was complicated for us old folks.
Margaret (10/5): Andy’s Blue House was a fantastic place for our family to stay and would be our first choice the next time we visit Char - The beds were very comfortable, the rooms were very clean and beautiful. The host was proactive to provide travel suggestions, very available for any questions and overall very friendly. The parking was a bonus, and the location was only minutes from anything we needed. Dumplings for breakfast (along with the typical eggs, bacon, etc) were my favourite part of the food! Nothing, it was a great experience!

Nous avons bien aimé. La Blue house est aussi bien localisée, près de Queen. Espace de stationnement disponible. No1. Je le recommande. Le prix… C’est quand même un peu cher pour une nuit….

Donna (10/5): Great location in a historic house - We were only in PEI for 2 days, touring Anne of Green Gables house and the Cavendish cliffs which were beautiful. Andy is a super host—friendly and so helpful. We had lovely breakfasts in the dining room every morning with both hot items (eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, even dumplings) and fresh juice and fruit. We would definitely stay in Andy’s Blue House if we’re lucky enough to visit PEI again.
