Lacking natural light and no window, but still very good facilities and value for money, considering the location and how expensive Florence is.

• Ilona (5/5): Na - Location. It was perfect! The listing did not mention that the place has no proper view through the window. The shutters are always closed because, if opened, the window faces a wall just a few meters away. When the window is open, you can even touch a damp pipe on the opposite wall. This did not feel safe or clean, so I kept the shutters closed at all times. Although the location was fantastic, this drawback was crucial for me — I felt claustrophobic and will now pay closer attention to such details in future listings. I believe the owners should mention this in the property description.
• Timea (10/5): - Ideally located in the heart of the city. Close to walk anywhere. The stairs in the room were quirky. Might not be suitable for people with mobility issues, but we had no problem. Had a lovely stay.

• Antonio (5/5): Si può fare di meglio - Il solo punto di forza della struttura è la posizione, centralissima dietro piazza della signoria e quindi vicina a le principali attrazioni della città (uffizi palazzo vecchio ponte vecchio). Strategica se si organizza i tour di visita senza prendere mezzi o altro. L' accesso alla struttura davvero difficoltoso, la camera si trova in una cantina e per scendere le scale sono davvero piccole.Bagno nuovo ma con un unico appendino dietro la porta e quindi poco funzionale, non avendo neanche il bidet. Condizionatore rumorosissimi anche in modalità sleep, senza possibilità di aprire unica finestra che da su cortile, infine poca disponibilità di flessibilità e problem solvi.g

• John (10/5): An absolutely wonderful stay at Casetta di Nic as the central hub for my Art Tour of Florence. - This exceptional location was in the heart of Florence, with the Ufizi Gallery and Ponte Vecchio right around the corner. It was the perfect hub for exploring the city in all directions, making it easy to stop off for a quick rest or to drop off anything you bought from any of the surrounding shops before heading back out again to experience more. I also appreciated how quick and responsive the staff was in getting back to me with any questions I had. They were prompt in meeting me at the property to hand deliver the keys and give me a guided tour of the apartment. The apartment itself was extremely clean and cozy and well stocked with supplies to make me feel right at home.
• Jonathan (10/5): Great location, smooth and flexible check in/out, new and well sized room for 1 or 2 - Great location beside the Uffizi and Palazzo Vecchio. Staff were very kind and flexible with check out, which allowed me to go to one more museum on the last day before checking out. Smooth and easy check in. New, clean and well sized room.

• Jaizel (7/5): Ok for a night. - We liked location and the apartment seem newly renovated. Plus Alessia was very kind and very helpful. The apartment is located underground, which contributes to a slight unpleasant odor. While it might also be due to the specific day of our visit, the smell was noticeable. It wasn't overwhelming, but for a one-night stay, it was manageable. The staircase leading down to the apartment is quite steep. Although we found it manageable, it may not be suitable for families with young children or older adults.

Alessia gives a list of recommendations too regarding local restaraunts and gems that aren't touristy. Room is very clean, warm and has all the essentials and then some! Room is in a great spot too in the old city centre, walking distance from all the key sites. Highly recommended!!
