Both Paul and Betty (owners) were very helpful with any questions we had and friendly to talk to. The loft is situated near the beach and very quiet during the night. Nothing really to pick on.

Location is very close to the beach and had the pleasure of meeting the lovely owners during our stay too. Highly recommend! -
• Erin (8/5): Comfortable and quiet stay - The bed was very comfortable with excellent pillow It was very quiet The kitchen was very well appointed with all of the pans, utensils, and extra gadgets you'd need, as well as staples like oil/salt/tomato sauce and freezer bag The room is really dated - it needs a paint and new carpet; the blinds are for privacy only, they don't block out any sunlight and so you're awake with the sunrise The accommodation is isolated; you can walk to Logan's Beach lookout but otherwise you need to get in the car

Fantastic spa bath, with all cooking amenities for an option to eat in. Partner loved the reclining chair after outings. Paul was lovely, providing anything we needed.

• Patricia (8/5): A pleasant stay overall - If you are looking out for whales, this was great location, a short walk to the viewing platform. The Loft was a lovely space in which to stay. I feel that given the spacious nature of the room, it would have been nice to have another chair. The 2 seat couch was comfortable but a little more individual space would have been nice also. Be prepared before you go, as there is no opportunity for streaming entertainment. There are also an abundance of “ house rules” I personally feel that stripping beds etc prior to departure should be made as a simple request, as opposed to the threat of further charges for non compliance. However, I understand that prior guests conduct may have contributed to this approach.

• Valerie (9/5): Really clean, warm & cosy, bed & recliners very comfortable, couldn't fault anything. - Location was great, near to whale platform and easy drive into CBD and other areas. The Loft was very comfortable, had everything I needed, plus more. The view was really nice, the place was clean, bed very comfortable, nice big shower, everything in kitchen that you needed, they even supplied tea, coffee & milk for arrival. Loved the recliners in the lounge, very comfortable indeed. Was met by Peter the owner when I arrived who helped carry my luggage up the stairs, very nice of him. The place was warm and cosy, sometimes did not even need the heater on, especially when the sun was shining through the front door & window.

We stayed in the loft ans it felt so cosy and warm it was exactly like a home away from home. So calming, clean and appropriately stocked foor all of our needs. Will do this again That we could not stay longer 😞
• Wayne (10/5): Met our expectations- had everything we needed for a pleasant and comfortable stay. Quite a unique set up. - Very warm and welcoming. Nice outlook. Very hospitable and caring hosts. Just a couple of small things - need to be mindful of not bumping your head on the low ceiling side of the bed when getting in or out of bed. Also need to be mindful of steps down from the bed area if going to the bathroom through the night in semi darkness.
• Chris (8/5): A pleasant stay - The heater in the bathroom was lovely as it was quite cold in the morning. It was good having oil, foil, bags etc and milk on arrival. This was much appreciated. We also liked the chair with adjustable footrest. I initially thought it was right in the beach (my mistake) so was disappointed on arrival. Some cushions for the outside seats would have been welcome. I also had an allergic reaction when we went into the apartment. The owner has a cat and I am highly allergic to cats. I can only think it must have been in the apartment at some time (maybe other guests have had it in the apartment) I managed with anti histamines and had the windows open to help with my breathing. I think this should be mentioned in the bio though.

• Sue (10/5): Lofty stay - We had a wonderful stay in Warrnambool with a very comfortable stay in the upstairs Loft. The loft feels very roomy and has all the conveniences of very good quality lodgings. The spa was just heavily after big days of hiking and wandering. The kitchen is fully equipped and the recliner lounge seat although a 2 seater is very restful. The air conditioner kept us very snug on those cold mornings and evenings. I would highly recommend The Loft. Everything was great

• Cheryl (10/5): Comfy loft in Warrnambool, excellent stay - The loft was very comfortable and had everything we needed for 5 nights. The spa bath was luxurious and kitchen was well-equipped. Very close to the whale watching platform but didn't manage to see any in the half hour we were there. The couch was very comfy and we really enjoyed our stay. It's convenient to get to the supermarket, only a short 7 min drive away. Nothing, everything was great!

Whilst there was maintenance being carried out, any impact on our stay was minimal. The owners were friendly and kept us informed of a power and water outage, so we just went out. • Sarah (10/5): Comfortable beach stay - Great location just a short walk from Logan’s Beach and a short drive into the centre of town. Bed and reclining couch was super comfortable. The spa was great after long days. We briefly talked to the host on check in and out and she was friendly. This was much nicer and much better value for money than other properties I could find in the area. Would definitely recommend staying here. There’s a big stack of DVDs but they’re all just music DVDs, would be great to have actual movies or have access to streaming services on the TV. The fridge is noisy at night.

• Barbara (9/5): Exactly hat we need for a 2 night stay . - I left some personal items behind but have not bee able to contact the managers by email or phone.. The mangers were extremely helpful and friendly while staying. I emailed them with in a few hours of departing so feeling disappointed.

• Kev (7/5): Good - Size of room Room very cold despite having heating on. To be fair the weather was horrendous with wind and rain but the draughts coming through the main double doors and the extraction fan over the cooker meant the room never warmed up properly.

Paul, the owner was very helpful and kind. We will be back next time! Everything is perfect for me but maybe a little problem for elderly or disabled because you have to go up the stairs and can be very slippery when it's wet.

Great location near whaling platform and close to getting to beach walk trails. Short drive into town and no problems getting an uber into town for dinner. Hosts who live downstairs were very helpful if we needed something. - Stair access may be a bit difficult if you had a mobility issue, but no problem for us.

• David (9/5): The weather was very kind to us so we did many outdoor things. - THE LOCATION WAS EXCELLENT FOR WHALE WATCHING. We visited to viewing platform every morning on the way out and every afternoon on the way back. Wesaw whales on every occasion. The stairs to the loft, but we knew about them in advance so they were not a problem. As stairs go they were better than many.
• Alice (9/5): Lovely, relaxing stay - Modern & spacious studio loft, comfortable bed with nice linen, well equipped kitchen, big spa bath, close to the beach and walks. Hosts are thoughtful, for example dairy free milk alternative was provided as well as books, CDs and DVDs. Really enjoyed hearing the ocean waves at night. Fridge quite noisy at night
