Guest Reviews
- Zahid (7/5): Enjoyed the stay - NA Nothing
- Tuan (1/5): - Review / Complaint:
Not recommended to anyone. We arrived late at night, and the host did not respond to calls or messages. Due to this, I had to pay an additional $200 for alternative accommodation at midnight. This caused significant inconvenience, and I would not recommend this place to anyone. after hours servises
- Dooley (6/5): - The view It was to hot and no things to cook with n no tv
- Stone (6/5): - The place was clean and excellently located. On arrival bathroom light not working and tap loose almost unusable. It took three days until it was fixed.
There was no cutlery to go with the crockery, only on glass, no tea towels. Despite repeated requests, this was never rectified.
Only two slim pillows. Despite repeated requests no additional pillows were provided.
- Gabriela (2/5): - View Not clean, bathroom tap was broken and bathroom light not working ( which had also been flagged we realised in recent previous reviews and obviously not addressed) - when reported to company asked to take photos of this - I’m not sure how you’re supposed to take a photo of a light not switching on? Cheap amenities and no sink to wash up after breakfast
- Wizz (1/5): - The deceit.. Pictures don't match the room. Washing machine never worked. It was in the muddy garden so mud trampled into room. Bathroom faucet broken, no light, and only reply qas to ask for photos then deniied receiving them. People in advertised room upstairs were also riped off.
- Sabine (6/5): mediocre property - The view is really nice. There was no light in the bathroom, the carpet was very stained and it is quite noisy from the street below.
The kitchenette is a toaster and kettle on an old unstable cupboard and a microwave on a fridge.
There was no fork or knife, just 3 spoons.
- Lynette (5/5): - Washing machine. couldn't get it to work. Light in toilet n bathroom didnt work.
- Liz (4/5): Disappointing and not up to expectation so look elsewhere - Location No laundry
Unreliable wifi
Tiny bathroom that you have to exit to dry after a shower
- Sally (6/5): would not recommend this accommodation. - The view over the Derwent was awesome and the reason I chose the property. Poor quality furniture. Extremely tiny bathroom. Bed comfortable but barely able to walk around it to get to bathroom.
The driveway was extremely steep and parking problematic. This was not entirely clear when we booked.
Communication was poor about arrival details. Would prefer a text directly to my phone with access code instead of buried deep within a long, detailed email from booking.com
- Thomas (5/5): Disappointing - Good view of the river. Close to a bus stop. We arrived and the first draw we opened there was a condom wrapper left in there. We went to use the tap and it was extremely loose and wobbly. The tap was fixed but not completely. The shower temperature is either boiling hot or extremely cold. Went to use the washing machine and it was broken, told the maintenance man and he said it would be replaced within 2 days but we were there for 9 and it was never replaced. There was no cutlery or bowls,to use the kitchen facilities with, just a couple of plates and one cutting knife. The heaters provided also produced no heat and the room gets quite chilly. It’s a shame because the location was nice and the place looked nice when we booked it.

- Thomas (6/5): Could have been better I - Great views through front window This property is attached to another AirBnB owned by the same operator, despite the description of the property stating “no parties allowed” the back AirBnB had a 3 day party going 24 hours a day with new people arriving at all hours of the night. I spoke to the operator via message about this as they were literally blaring music at all night long, operator said he would contact them about the noise. Instead he contacted me and said they had extended their stay an extra night which is unbelievable!!! I should have called the police regarding the noise but I didn’t want to be “that person” the operator offered no apologies for 3 days of disturbance.
- Leggett (10/5): Highly recommended - Good bang for your buck. Great location Nothing.
- Ann-maree (6/5): Pleasant - Great view. No TV. Bathroom small and poor layout. Further from Sandy bay than expected, not an easy walk.
- Coletto (5/5): It was adequate but the mentioned missing items would have made Ll the difference atno great expense for the owner - The view and location No spare pillows, no glasses other than wine glasses, no tea towel, no toilet roll holder, no fan or air conditioner, no television
- Siddhi (10/5): A beautiful studio for couple or individual stay. Close to city. - Beautiful view of waterfront. It's perfect little room for couple or individual. Nothing.
- Shaina (7/5): Good -
- Emil (10/5): Exceptional - Great views in a quiet suburb that's still close to the city. The beach is a 15 min walk. I expected some plates and cutlery. There was one knife and a few cups.
