The room was so clean, super comfortable and over all was such a great experience and location for the money! Would definitely recommend this room! Nothing to not like!

Abhinav (5/5): Lack of professionalism - I had my ups and downs with my stay here. Not sure if I can recommend this place for others to stay at. Here is my story When I landed in Vietnam, the host whatsapp messaged me saying she changed the location of my stay. I did not like this (since I wanted some places away from the main road and therefore quiet, and this new place was right next to the main road). I told her I didn’t want the upgraded room in the new place and just wanted the old room, but she already gave someone else the old room. What’s the point of reserving a room if they can’t hold it for you (insert seinfeld joke here). So I accepted the new room for a night and then shifted to the old location. Note she also lied about the distance from the old to the new location, saying it was 3 minutes by walking when they were a 10-15 minute drive apart! I asked for a partial reimbursement for having to deal with all of this, but she said that wasn’t possible and all she could do was allow me to cancel my booking for free, which I didn’t want to do and then have to look for another place on the day of. When I got to the place I finally booked on the 2nd day, it was good. Nice, quiet and even got an upgraded room. She said someone would come to collect payment at 3:30. But even by 3:40 they didn’t come to collect so I left for lunch. Ended up paying eventually, but timeliness was poor here. I did get a water leak in the bathroom on the 4th day, which was promptly resolved so that is good. And she is very prompt at responding to her whatsapp messages, which is great as well. Also self check in instructions are quiet clear and easy to follow. But this whole experience lacked the professionalism that I would expect. Note I come from the US, so maybe things in Vietnam are like this, but I personally don’t think this is acceptable. So in conclusion, both rooms I stayed in were nice and spacious. The professionalism of the whole experience was questionable though.

Joelle (9/5): Great Location - Great Value - I do recommend the place - We liked the central location. The clean rooms and our contact person always (ALWAYS) available for information and suggestion. It was great! While centrally located, it was also absolutely quite, being tucked away in a small alley. Best of both worlds, really! While there is an elevator in the building, to access it, you need to get up a flight of stairs. Which could be a problem for some. We were traveling with our 80 year young aunt and it was a little challenging for her to get to and from the lift. A very small detail: One of the rooms had a little flies problem in the bathroom. It was very localized so not too much of a bother, but it could be for some people.
Maxwell (5/5): It was ok - The apartment rooms was ok average, you could wash your own clothes if you like, or cook your own meals. Did not like the location of the place. as it is down a lane way not close to the main road, cars or taxies not allowed in, the shower tap system is old and needs replacing as it hard to adjust the water temperature, not suitable for wheel chairs or Elderly. If you leave anything sweet around it will be covered in ants in no time, so you need a can of insect repellent, and an umbrella in case it rains to walk to the main road for a taxi.

Jack (1/5): SCAM! DO NOT STAY HERE - This place is a complete scam. The address we were sent to was in a completely different location than advertised on booking.com. Instead of a central location, the property is located over 2km away in the middle of the red light district. The area is full of prostitutes and brothels and we felt very uncomfortable and unsafe. When we told the property owner that it is in a completely different area than advertised she became very aggressive and sent us multiple threatening messages. You can see her replies to other bad reviews (and no doubt her future response to this review) how hostile and aggressive she is. We have reported the property to booking.com as it is completely false advertising. Be warned that you will not stay in the area that is advertised on booking.

There is no staff and no service here - we had to keep messaging the manager to get our payment collected and arrange our day around it. They also didn’t have the change when we paid by cash and tried to get us to come back 3 hours later to get the change. They should also send the check in instructions earlier.

Basic equipment for cooking. There is an elevator. We didn't get clean towels everyday, and no one around to ask. Curtains are thin and let alot of light in there is also a clearish wall panel with no curtain. Bed was very hard, very very hard. Ok after a couple of beers but not recommend if you have a bad back.

Himantha (8/5): Comfortable Stay - ** This review is on 'We Home Thai Van Lung', which belongs to the same host We stayed at 'We Home Thai Van Lung' for 2 nights. It is situated in a corner of the Japanese town in Ho Chi Minh City, so you have to walk through the narrow streets to access it. A vehicle apart from a motorbike cannot reach the property, hence if you have large luggage, it will be a bit of a hassle to walk through the narrow streets of Japan town. Access is controlled by access codes & there is no reception. There are restaurants in the Japanese town, so managing meals is not an issue. The upper floors were accessible through a lift. The Superior Queen Room we booked had a comfortable bed. The room had just enough space & it was clean. It was equipped with a wardrobe, a refrigerator & a television. The bathroom was clean and hot water worked without an issue. Towels and soap were also provided. The kitchen was situated separately, on the opposite side of the passage leading to the room. It was a shared space with another room, but the utensils were properly labeled with room numbers. The kitchen utensils we tried were functional without an issue. When we reached the location of 'We Home Ben Thanh' indicated on the map, we were informed by the host that our accommodation location had been changed to some other place in HCM (belonging to the same host). The host arranged a taxi to reach the new location, but this experience exhausted us even more after a long day of taking multiple flights. If you book this property, please get a confirmation from the host as to where the exact location of the accommodation is. Only cash payments were available at the property.
Elena (5/5): Not what we expected, but ok. - The place is in a very good location close to bus stops, food stalls, supermarkets, but not noisy. The manager is really kind. It is one of those Bookings where the property has several apts, maybe also in different buildings, so It can happen that you are not where you supposedly booked or you can get tricked by pictures, that are really much better than reality. Careful.
Julie (8/5): Comfortable stay in a great location - Location was fantastic. In a busy area but the room was quiet which was great. Although the owner/receptionist was super helpful, we only corresponded by WhatsApp. There is no reception area and not a physical person there to help if needed. Mostly we coped fine with this and maybe it was because we stayed during tet. Lunar New Year.

Setters (7/5): Good location - average facilities - Good location to explore the city. Overall good value for money with reasonable facilities. The bed was starting to come apart that we had to fix ourselves and the room looked nothing like the pictures advertised. Not sure if this is because we were moved.
Caitlin (8/5): Very good - The owner was very responsive via messages, very accommodating allowing us to drop out bags off early. The room was tidy. We didn’t have a nice view of the street/city but the room itself was lift and bright and felt welcoming. It’s in a very central location, located down an alley way, enter via an ice cream shop. There is a lift which is great as we were on the top floor. There was a big bottle of water provided which we’ve noticed some other places don’t provide. The bed was awful, it was so stiff and hard like sleeping on rock. It was very noisy, we could hear loud music from outside, however we were really tired and fell asleep anyway.

Michael (10/5): Great Place and will stay their again - Owner and staff were great. Room and facility was clean and comfortable. Keyless entry to building and room was easy. Laundry service was excellent and returned cleaned laundry within a few hours the same day even though they said next day service. Also, including visual photo directions to navigate through Little Tokyo to the building made it very easy to find it and to give to colleagues to find me. There was nothing not to like.

Duy (8/5): Somewhere between good and great. - A private, quiet place in an extremely busy city. The room is clean, well-organized, and close to everything. TV channels didn't seem to work. Laundry costs extra.

Anonymous (9/5): A well located, comfortable and useful place to stay. I would definitely stay there again! - the room was very spacious with a well equipped kitchen space, and good AC and wall mounted fan. The TV was linked up to netflix which was perfect for the chill evenings. The bed was comfortable with nice, clean towels and sheets. Good water pressure in the shower too. In the room there was a blue barrel of drinking water which was perfect as I could fill up a bottle and put it in the fridge to keep it cool. Quyen the owner was very friendly and quick to respond to my messages, and provided me with direction to enter before my arrival. The property advertised a bath but it did not have a bath in the bathroom, and there was a slight smell from the bathroom.

Su (10/5): good experience, happy with my stay - the facilities were great - come with a small kitchen with kitchen utensils, water dispenser, hair dryer, iron board. the hotel staff is also responsive to messages and requests. bed was comfy, aircond working well, room was quite at night and manage to sleep well. there was a lift available as well. the property that i was assigned to was a different address from the address as advertised, and i was only informed on the same day itself (4 hours prior to check in), the place i lived was about 20metres from the address as per advertised in the post. i think this should now happen. fortunately the place i lived was good overall.

Siobhan (10/5): great base to do your day trips from. - loved having all the facilities of this apartment. we had some issues with internet, but the host was really quick to resolve which we really appreciated. they also had great communication and asked us what time suited for the room clean/sheet changes. pictures are not accurate to room we stayed in, but we found it very clean and well worth the money. would definitely stay again! no lift, we were on 4th/5th floor I think… but if staying for more than 2/3 nights this is fine.

Davide (8/5): Comfortable and exciting stay in one of the main Districts - Very good location, but be aware it is in a small alleyway. Nothing wrong with it, but make sure you are comfortable with it. Receptionist/owner speaks English. Not the best view from the window, but this is really a minor detail. The property is on the lower level of a nail/beauty salon, so it gets a little bit noisy.
