Bjarni (9/5): An excellent and comfortable accommodation, well situated to explore Florence. - La Casa di Emilia provided us with a comfortable accommodation within reasonable walking distance from the city center and a good parking nearby. The apartment is situated in a nice neighbourhood of Florence with a strong local character which was a bonus. Every walk to and from the old historic center was a pleasurable experience in itself. The host was excellent and really made us feel welcome. The apartment is a gem in itself, small but pleasant, and we felt at home there.

John (10/5): Exceptional place to stay, wonderful host, perfect location. Absolutely recommended. - This is a wonderful place to stay. Giacomina, the host is super friendly and most generous with her time. She met us on arrival, introduced us to the place and gave us recommendations for restaurants etc. The apartment was immaculately clean, comfortable, exactly as pictured and the bottle of wine, snacks and bottles of water, were a nice extra touch. The location is away from the tourist area, very close to restaurants and supermarket and an easy 20 minute walk to the central tourist attractions. Very quiet at night and a perfect place to stay.After travelling for 3 weeks this was our favourite stay.100% recommended and we would have no hesitation staying here again. Grazie mille Giacomina.
