Felt like our home for 5 days. Loved the kitchen, stove and fridge. Communication with renter was great also. So clean and a great place to stay! Our family was very happy here. My only complaint is that there wasn't enough comfortable seating in the living area for all of us to sit. We knew there was just one couch from the pictures, so it wasn't a surprise, but I would recommend one more couch or a sectional couch for 4-6 guests.

• Adil (1/5): Bad - It is clean This was a misleading ad. The ad does not illustrate that this is a basement. I would not have rented this place if I knew it was a basement. Also the beds were very low quality and they make lot of noise so the sleep was not great at all. This place is also so far from downtown, I spent most of the time on the highway. I am really disappointed and I won't recommend it to anyone. The owner should be honest and list this property as a basement.

It is a basement apartment which i know can be a problem with disable or people that have issues with stairs.
• Llewellyn (10/5): Fabulous place - Great modern and well appointed Airbnb with free parking, very quiet and close to shops and restaurants. Owner was very responsive and went above and beyond when we noticed no wine glasses and corkscrew - he delivered them both the next morning!

Limited sitting space in living room for more than three people on the couch. Was a little colder for us from California, but we could not find the thermostat....not a big issue, really.

• Doyle (10/5): Lovely Home - We came to visit Ottawa and opted to stay out of the city centre in order to see the rest of Ottawa and chose this lovely basement unit with 1.5 bathrooms. It is about a 30-minute drive to the city centre but we didn't mind. This unit had all the necessary stuff (basic toiletries, kitchen utensils, etc.) we needed during our 3-night stay. It is close to a shopping centre, gas station, and restaurants, so it is pretty much at a great location. Definitely recommended for families and small groups!

• Stéphanie (10/5): Beautiful apartment, clean, super quiet neighborhood! - This is a freshly renovated basement of a house in a suburb of Ottawa. It is beautiful, everything is brand new (including the dishes, pots and pans, towels, etc) and sparkling clean. Very lovely space. The neighborhood has the conveniences of grocery stores, pharmacy, etc but not much for restaurants besides fast food. You really need a car to stay there (and we had one so we were fine).
