- Ingvar (9/5): Áttum erindi til London í nokkra daga. Íbúðin nýttist okkur vel þessa daga. - Skemmtileg staðsetning. Við fengum það sem við þurftum.

- Adele (5/5): Good location, average accommodation. - The apartment itself is fairly spacious and located in a prime position in Notting Hill near Ladbroke Road for the Underground and Portobello Road Markets. Bathroom feels semi newly renovated, kitchen is equipped with everything one could need (despite being extremely small), bed was comfortable and appreciated after a 24 hour plus flight and it was useful having a washing machine to use during our stay. Host was prompt in responding to communication. Overall, location was good and bed was fairly comfortable… although after such a long flight, anything would have felt comfortable for us. Apartment itself had a lot of potential but is in desperate need of some TLC. Was great to have the extra space of an apartment over a hotel room however a hotel would have felt more secure and would have certainly been far cleaner. We would not stay here again and highly encourage people to do their research thoroughly, as I’m sure there are many more suitable and well-maintained properties in the area. The area itself is lovely and conveniently situated. I hope the host sincerely addresses the points raised here, as opposed to merely providing a generic response claiming that the issues will be rectified, only to have them continue in months to come for future guests. However, there were a multitude of issues encountered during our stay and areas for vast improvement. I have listed these as follows:
1. Of all the places we have stayed, this had the worst internet connection we have ever encountered. Spotty, weak and the only time we were at home in between exploring London wanting to unwind on the couch after a day of walking and sight-seeing, were unable to watch tv because the wifi never worked. Host suggested turning modem off as solution but this did nothing. Raised this with the host and they assured they would look into “checking with the provider” however from feedback left in the past from previous guests, it appears as though internet issues are commonplace at this property, so the host has clearly not addressed the issue or looked into possibility of changing providers. No digital tv/satellite/antenna also means the place relies solely on the internet. Also, our phone bill went through the roof needing to use data instead of the promised free wifi that was supposed to come as part of our accommodation.
2. The apartment has an evident issue with mould- the smell hit us as soon as we entered. Musty and pungent. Bathroom is renovated but demonstrates issues with mould and mildew in crevices and within all windows. This needs to be addressed and rectified immediately, as it is a major health concern and my husband who is sensitive to such things suffered severe allergies during our stay here.
3. The toilet was not cleaned properly- skid marks were at the bottom, which we had to clean ourselves. Not the best greeting after a long haul flight from the other side of the world!
4. Extra duvet cover had stains on it that looked like blood- needs to be washed or replaced entirely.
5. A dirty children’s potty was in the laundry basket, which was pretty disgusting to be in contact with when using washing machine.

- Dale (5/5): Grudgingly adequate. - Location was fine. Answering queries on the apartment was generally pretty quick. Cleanliness first and foremost. Communication on how things worked was poor - could have had simple set of simple questions and answers. Would have been good to have 2 sets of keys for 2 couples sharing. Fridge door does not close very easily for being able to tell it's actually closed or not. Washer/Dryer for clothes - we had clothes in the dryer for over 20 hours drying. That was annoying..........
- Marcel (9/5): Great stay in vibrant Notting Hill - Large place for one person, in a great location, nice patio a bonus. Some areas could benefit from a bit of maintenance but nothing that was annoying me

- Nadiya (7/5): - La posizione e’ottima.
Pulito e sistemato l’appartamento Un po’ vecchio il bagno

- Joanna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jessie (9/5): Superb - The location and neighborhood are perfect, lots of cafés and brunch spots, and it's close to Notting Hill.
- Bronwen (8/5): Would recommend to a friend. Good value. - Very comfortable and clean. Good bed. Lots of space. The internet was very intermittent for the first few days. Possibly an issue with the provider? Worked 100% for the last 4 days.
- Tsvetelina (8/5): It was great and I recommend it - The location is great, the apartment is as on the photos and the host was so kind The first two days there was a problem with the heating and it was cold. There were only two sheets for four people
- Artenil (8/5): Very good -
- Ian (6/5): Adequate - Well appointed kitchen. Directions to apartment were poor. There is no name on the building so We had to assume it was correct by the street number then assume that the lockbox was for the flat. The key was very difficult to open the outer door-poorly cut.
The post box for the flat has years of post spilling out onto the floor which creates the impression that the owner hasnt been there to assess their flat in a long time and it shows with some basic maintenance required in the flat.
- Steve (4/5): Disappointing - needs a lot of attention to cleanliness
duvet covers were not good
cannot recommend
- Miroslav (2/5): Very poor - I definitely do not recommend the accommodation, it is already clear from the photo that there is a problem with mold and hygiene. When the window is closed, you can smell mold in every room. Also, the area under the bed was not clean, there were dust and hairs in the bed... Hygiene
- Marco (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lining (10/5): Very good choice for a family travel - Very good position in Notting Hill. A fantastic place for a family.
- Laura (6/5): Okay flat in nice area, but value for money not good enough for recommendation - The flat is in a quiet corner not far from Ladbroke Grove tube station (5-6 min walk). Modern kitchen to cook a meal (unfortunately very few dishes, see below). We had difficulty entering the house with the key as the lock was jammed. When we finally managed to get in, the next problem came: it was difficult to find the right flat in the block as there was no name or flat number on it. When we entered the flat, our first impression was that the photos were very flattering and made the flat look much bigger than it actually is. There is no cloakroom or storage for jackets and belongings in the entrance area. The description stated that the flat is on the 1st floor - but it is actually a ground floor flat. The kitchen is small but ok equipped. There is a dishwasher, but only few dishes, so we only had clean dishes for 1 breakfast and 1 dinner at most (2 adults, 1 toddler). We therefore either had to wash up by hand or leave the dishwasher running all the time (there were no dishwasher tablets, we had to get them first). There was also no hand soap in the bathroom. We would have liked to use the private courtyard, which looks so nice in the pictures. However, it is very shady and we were not given a key for the door to the outside. The first few days the bathtub didn't drain and we didn't have bed lamps. We immediately reported both to the agency (AirHost) in charge - unfortunately they only offered to help us 2 or 3 days later (they contacted the owner first). By this time, we had already repaired the bathroom ourselves. We never received the lamps for the bed. The sofa bed is not usable for an adult when pulled out (much too hard). In sofa format, an adult can sleep on it okay.
You don't get any direct contact with the owner, everything goes through the agency. We found this very impersonal and impractical. Unfortunately, we left a valuable technical item in a drawer when we left. We immediately reported this to the agency and asked them to send us the item by post. As almost expected, we were told that the item was not found in the flat...
- Gabriella (7/5): Good - The location was super as this apartment is located in Notting Hill, the streets around this area are very nice and calm. Also Portobello road is just 6 min walking distance. The kitchen was well suitable for cooking and preparing the breakfast. We were very disappointed that when we arrived with my family, 2 adults and 2 children, the apartment was not prepared for us properly. The sofa bed was not made for the kids, no extra blankets, no pillow and no bedlinen were there. We also had only 2 set of towels, not 4. We raised it with the host immediately, but they said that they can no bring us the missing pieces on the day of arrival. This is unacceptable. We were cold as we could not cover our bodies properly during the night.
They brought some of the missing pieces 1 day after the arrival and the pillow only arrived on day 3. They also kept the used towels and bedlinen of the former guest on top of the washing machine, which is an unusual experience for us.
Communicating with the host was very strange as they use both automatic chatbot messages and humans - and it really feels that they don't react to the guests real needs all the time. Overall, not a good experience.
- Binata (8/5): Very good -
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Liviu (9/5): Decent size 2 room place in Notting Hill - We had a great time staying for almost 10 days at the property. It’s a big place (for London standards), with a very well equipped kitchen, good shower, garden patio, and separate living room and bedroom.
The location of the property is right in Notting Hill, so we went to Portobello every morning for coffee.
There are 3 tube stations close enough to walk.
Super safe area of London, friendly corner shop opened until late, and 5 min walk to Holland Park — in 15 min including the tube ride you are in the center of London.
The property owner/team was super friendly and helpful! The property was clean (!) no complains there, but unfortunately it had a bit of a problem with mould.
Nothing extreme, but something to be aware if you are sensitive to it — not a big deal, just get some nice smelling candles. This is quite a common problem with properties in London (even hotels!), especially if you visit in winter time.
The property owner/team was super friendly and helpful, maybe they will fix this next time!
- Liz (8/5): The people who managed it were great, very responsive and helpful. - Great location. Security of the building. Hard to adjust the heating so was always way too warm.
