Guest Reviews
- Jenny (5/5): Great location, great unit just requires proper cleaning and fixing up items mentioned. - The property was great proximity to the tram and the city. The unit was very spacious and beds comfortable. The cleanliness of the property. We located a cigarette butt in the washing machine, nut shells on the carpet and a random sock in one of the bathrooms. There was also rubbish located at the very bottom of the staircase into the garage and the stairwell needed sweeping. The gas cooker had been cleaned, but none of the gas top burners were placed correctly resulting in the stove top not working. Dinner was cooked on one burner very slowly. The issue was later rectified by us.
There were no functioning lights in the lounge area and the outside light did not work.
The shower height adjuster in the second bathroom fell apart when used. This was again rectified by us. In the main bathroom the tap handle came off in our hand.
Smaller things included insufficient ad hoc cutlery and glassware insufficient for a 6 bedroom unit.
The unit was also missing a washing basket and a clothing drying rack for use inside.
There was a small patch of grass in the courtyard and this was ill kept, overgrown and full of weeds.
For a six bedroom unit the coffee / tea / sugar was minimal. There were no spare bin liners (I don’t expect a whole roll but at least one spare bag). The supply of shower gel / body wash was minimal. We were only supplied with one tiny tube per bathroom. I have stayed in other appartments and you are usually supplied one per person.

- Michelle (8/5): Very pleasant. - Unfortunately, the outside garbage bin was full and overflowing, it was tipped over in the front yard so we couldn't put our rubbish in. The yard needed attending to.

- Rhonda (7/5): - It was as advertised. Comfortable and clean The booking in process direct with the owners needs changing so that extra personal information is not required

- Susan (5/5): Good location, apartment could have been made so much more guest friendly. - Good location and great towels. Very sparse unwelcoming apartment. Obviously just waiting to be sold so minimum kitchen equipment. Not even a plunger for coffee, cutlery poor quality. Only one bed lamp in bedrooms and doonas not big enough for beds. Only one bathmat and one hand towel. Gate lock to property broken so gate wide open to the street the whole time. We advised agents. No outdoor furniture in courtyards which were just barren; no plants. Place felt unloved.
- Margaret (7/5): Overall good - The spaciousness and area for easy access Was supposed to have 3 bathrooms but only 2 with an extra toilet so shouldn’t be advertised as 3! No bath mats in the bathrooms or hand towels provided either
- Fiona (10/5): Fantastic location. Within walking distance to the tram. Very good value for money. - The rooms were big and there were 3 toilets, 2 bathrooms, so plenty of room for 5 adults. There could have been more hand towels and tea towels around the place. We could only seem to get channel 7 on the tv - but that might have been an us problem!

- Iyoko (6/5): - Good size for family. The noise of heater. It was so loud during the nighttime. The remote control for garage wasn’t working property. We had to park our car outside for couple nights. $700 per night for 5 nights, no spear rubbish bin bags, only 3 dish washer tablets etc.. Inside of the cattle was so black & dirty. One of chair was broken, it was so dangerous for my kids.
- Bill (8/5): -
- Michael (7/5): - Loads of space and 2 off street car parks The garage remote only worked occasionally, not very good water pressure in showers
- Dubing (10/5): -
- Katrina (2/5): I cannot recommend this accommodation based on our experience. - Spacious We locked ourselves out and the managers wouldn’t help us even though it was in between the hours they were open according to their terms and conditions. It was cold and dark and our car was locked in the parking lot. We eventually found a lock smith to come who charged a lot and only took cash. management promised to refund the amount but haven’t after a significant number of reminders. We have been ghosted.
- Sheikh (8/5): It was nice and comfy to stay. - Facilities, rooms and location Blankets, empty bodywash bottles
- Christie (8/5): Great location for a stay in Canberra. - A fantastic location, close to Braddon and the city, as well as a tram station (if you don't want to drive). The house was large and comfortable, with most mod-cons. Having multiple bathrooms is great for larger groups, as is having a full kitchen and laundry! It was also great having access to the unit via the private double garage. The bed linen could have been better - no flat sheets, the doonas were too small for the beds, and the pillows were of terrible quality (we took our own pillows and extra blankets thankfully).
- Michael (8/5): Ideal First Visit to Canberra - Comfortable and spacious.
Quiet location. Linen scant, 3 towels instead of two. No face washers in bathrooms.
More tea towels needed in Kitchen.
- Jesslyn (4/5): Would have been better if I didn't have to deal with A/C issues. - Townhouse was very spacious with attached basement garage. Water pressure was excellent with plenty of hot water. Location was very close to shop and a huge variety of asian food. There was no hand soap or hand towels provided in the ensuite and upstairs bathroom. The A/C fuse kept tripping and we had 2 nights without heating when the A/C inexplicable would not work. When reporting the error, we were only offered extra blankets. The front door was very drafty and without heating the house became very cold very quickly. We had to purchase our own portable heater to keep the cold at bay. We also had to give up a couple of hours of our holiday to wait for the technician to fix the issue with the A/C. Towards the end of our stay, the garage remote also stopped working.
- Matthew (4/5): Disappointing -
- Jeffrey (8/5): Very good - The location was good and quiet. We had problems with the garage doors as they clicker only worked intermittently, it also appeared to be padlocked.. We contacted the property management several times but they were unable to help. Possibly the battery in the garage door opener is going flat,
Also, there are no towel rails in the downstairs toilet and no hand towels, There is only 1 towel rail in the family bathroom and no hand towel or face washerso in the bathroom s.A lot of the power points did not have covers.
There is no light bulb in the bedside lamp in the bedroom adjoining the bathroom.
The big containers in the bathrooms have nothing in them. The small containers was insufficient for multiple people and multi day stays.
Paintings are not secured to the wall.
- Jenny (3/5): Very disappointing. - Spacious unit. Good layout. Close to city. No towels on arrival. Found socks in one bed… it had not been remade properly. Only one key for 6 guests. No shampoo conditioner or soap in bathrooms.Weeds dominated the front courtyard and cobwebs covered the front door.
- Anwar (10/5): Exceptional - Had a great stay! Great location. The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again!
- Marie (8/5): Excellent - Spacious unit for3 people, proximity to Ainsley where we were visiting relatives Thought the front court yard could have had a table and chairs and a little attention given to garden ( look to me like overgrown weeds)
- Susan (7/5): Nice unit but really needs maintenance work , needs decent cutlery and utensils ,not even a pair of tongs - Nice new property , good position Poorly equipped for our 5 people
Things needed repairing
Cleaning to garaged stairwell was poor
Gardens poor and overgrown
Soap containers empty or just filled with water
No extra garbage bags for a three night stay
- Ocean (8/5): A very comfortable stay. Spacious and cool downstairs living area. Owners responsive. -
- Paul (7/5): Insdfficent cutlery for 3 bedroom (6 people), on[y 5 pegs for clothes line! - Double garage excellent although door openers didn't seem to work well all the time
- Nikita (8/5): Very good - It was in a good location and was big enough for all 6 of us. It was easy to check in and I had good communication with the hosts. Overall it was a great place and I would definitely stay again. Some things could be done to make it a better experience - the soap was empty in one of the bathrooms, and there was only very basic cutlery that felt really cheap. We were also there for 5 nights and only had 2 dishwasher tablets - I would recommend having one per night. Upgrading this would really make for a better experience and is very easy to do (and not expensive).
- Lynette (8/5): Very good - Good size, very nice location, good comfortable beds. Cutlery and kitchen utensils were very cheap and flimsy.
- Evans (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karen (7/5): The location was great with city and good shopping strips nearby - The apartment was clean and modern and the bedrooms spacious and suited our group perfectly. Would have liked a top sheet on the beds, soap and a towel in the downstairs toilet and the down lights in the lounge weren’t operational.
- Robert (8/5): Overall we were satisfied and how to return again - Location was good The shower was great
- Elvira (8/5): Very good -
- Anita (8/5): Very good -
- Nick (9/5): Superb - convenient location. nice amenities. one of the remotes for the garage didn't work.
- Anne (7/5): We would have rated this experience very high if all of the above had been addressed. - The design of the town house is great and modern. We were able to get around Canberra once we worked out how to get back on the main roads. There were 4 bottles of shampoo in the bathrooms and no conditioner or shower gel. We had to buy more toilet paper as there wasn't enough near the three toilets. A hand towel in the laundry would have been convenient. There was a lot of dirt on the stairs accessing the property from the garage. We had to take the rubbish to a local park because we couldn't find the garbage bin. I think the owner needs to clean up the front garden and make it a little more appealing for guests.
- Helen (7/5): Good - Location, spacious Check in, we had completed all requirements but we had to ring three times to get our check in info, then were given incorrect PIN for lockbox Couldn’t use bedside lamp in main room as no globe, light in ensuite shower didn’t work,
- Victor (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (10/5): Overall great experience! Location made many sites/restaurants very accessible. Will visit again! - The new aesthetic & was a great size to accommodate a group of 6! Tap faucet handle on the ensuite was fairly loose and fell off.
- Kai (7/5): It can be even better with a new kettle and a better water pressure in bathroom or shower head. - Location is good and quiet, nice house with everything you need. The kettle is heavily stained.
Water pressure is weak in the bathroom.
- Cameron (8/5): Very good - Modern
Nice bathrooms Front garden not nice to look at
Not enough coffee, milk
- Kim (5/5): To sum up we like the house but hope the owners can aim to better the stay. - The property was in a nice quiet spot and central to many Canberra attractions. The bathrooms were very clean and the rooms were very spacious. The lack of inviting guests - the house was freezing on arrival, doors and window open and no air con on. There was some
Items not provided as listed. The kitchen needs better coffee provided, the oven needs a clean, need to provide more detergent, wash cloths, garbage bags and tea towels.
- Stephen (10/5): Great couple of days away with my family in a fantastic unit - Very new and clean. The bedrooms were a great size, there was plenty of space for the family to relax and not be on top of each other.
Car park was a great size and I liked that it was a lock up within a lock up. Nothing major that stands out, apart from some pots and pans that were a bit scratched/handles very loose which meant extra care was needed when they were full of boiling water or hot meals.
Stair cases were also steep which wasn’t an issue for us but might be for people with mobility issues.
