• Usha Devi (2/5): - The location. All the rooms are smoking rooms and the odour remains there after deoderize by the housekeeping. I will not stay ther again.

• Yong Lin (7/5): - Room and experience was pretty standard. While there's nothing too shout at, there's also nothing much to complain. Room was clean enough, no stains on bedsheet or anything and for that I'm happy enough. Also, there is a water dispenser :) The elevator is pretty wonky. It will keep closing and reopening many times before it finally shuts properly. So it takes a long time to go up and down. And I cant take the stairs as an alternative cos the stairway door on the first floor is locked

• Edzuani (7/5): - The hotel & room was good actually. We stayed there for one night with 3 childrens below 6 years old. Coway & steam iron was provided at the walkway. In the lobby, a dinner table, board game & sofa was provided for guests. The downfall is only that there is a massive construction beside the hotel & unfortunately they still at work at night time. So the noise is a bit nuisance to us whose room was just beside the construction.

I requested to upgrade or change the room with window even I mentioned that I am willing to pay extra but your staff don't allow. This type of service is bad

• Nafisah (8/5): Value for money hotel - Comfortable. All that you need for a short stay. The staff were very helpful. Nothing. Not the hotel's fault but I hope that some day there will be a pedestrian crossing/ traffic light in front of the hotel so that we can go to the opposite food outlets.
• Chiang (8/5): Very good - Friendly staffs. The Aircon was old and was leaking a little. And we could not see the buttons on the television remote control as it was wrapped with paper/plastic.

They allowed some groups to check in even when I was not there. Thank you so much Shera ( I hope I get her name right) and gang. I wish there is a fridge in the room but it is not an issue.

• Anthony (8/5): Clean, Reasonable & Great Location - The rooms were fairly clean. Water pressure was good and there's everything you need in the area surrounding it. The room can be a bit musky as there are no windows. But for the price, can't really complain.

• Nur (8/5): Satisfy - The rate is unexpectedly affordable despite festive season (checked in on 27/12 for a night stay). Staff in the reception was friendly when we asked about the alternative road from the hotel to our event space and most importantly she welcoming us in a big smile. Room was neat and tidy, and it was a Muslims friendly hotel. I just hope there's more space to perform solat in more comfortable manner. Aircond was cool enough. I enjoyed their TV channels, not like a typical budget hotels. I love their toilet mirror, equipped with lighting so I can do my makeup well. 1. Wish for a slightly more space to perform solat. 2. Warmer shower

• Madeline (5/5): Property is near good food and pubbing choices. However due to heavy traffic coming in and out of Mount Austin, have to - The location. It is near good foods and drinks. Lots of parking space. The power connection is well positioned near bed for charging phones. Properly lit room. Good view from windows. Heavy traffic around where I stay. Can be an issue when going in and out of Mount Austin. My room has a bad sweat smell when I first entered it. Guess the bed’s headboard are not cleaned. Lastly the water connection to the detachable shower head does not work. Have to use the fixed shower head instead. Not given a choice.

• Lucille (7/5): A good location to stay at Mount Austin. - The pictures were representative of the room i booked. The staff was friendly. The room was clean & well maintained in spite of the hotel age. I was told the hotel was completed in 2011. There was security for cars parked outside the hotel. Hand towels would have been good as we only had a set of bath towels. There was no hand soap except for 3 in 1 shampoo. I didn't notice there was no fridge in the room. Also, the room facing was the main road which meant a bit of noise like loud motorbikes in the night.

• Nur (9/5): Nice hotel with a fridge in Deluxe King Room - The housekeeping staff were friendly and even offered me more amenities when the staff saw us arriving with two children. I was also grateful that my request to get a room with a fridge was granted by the hotel! Having a fridge in a hotel room was really crucial for me. The TV in the guest room was full of interesting Singapore TV channels to keep us occupied while resting in the room. The main street in front of the hotel had traffic jams most of the time during the day. The shower water pressure was quite low. I wished the room had dim light that could be switched on while sleeping because we had to choose between bright light from the ceiling or no light at all.
