- Jo-Anne (9/5): - Newly renovated and beautifully decorated. The yard was park-like with many seating areas. We had no control over the temperature. There are electric baseboard heaters but the breaker to power them must have been off. We were in a suite in the lower level and cold air was coming from the central air, likely air conditioning as the weather outside was quite warm. It was very cold in our suite.

- Monique (10/5): Estrella and her husband are amazing hosts that you can tell really enjoy sharing their space. - Estrella came to meet me and hand over keys, which was very easy and efficient. She was very accommodating with check in and out times! The place is very clean and functional, and the back yard is a great spot for a morning coffee :)
- Richard (9/5): Great stay; beautiful garden; convenient for beach and downtown. - Location was superb and the apartment had a shared garden with BBQ that bordered a small stream. Easy walk to the beach or downtown. Hosts excellent and allowed me to keep bikes in their tore space. The kitchen was looking a bid tired and could do with upgrading.

The Location: The #1 bus stop was only 5-minutes away to take you downtown, and it was an easy walk to Prospera Place for in-between the bus schedule. The apartment is truly located on "an island", being surrounded by a beautiful creek, with a nice garden in which to enjoy the peaceful ambiance of the flowing water. Can't think of anything.

The owners were super friendly; they took the time to greet us and explain everything about the suite when we checked in. The amenities and appliances covered everything we needed, including a lovely garden with a creek crossing the property. I would come back and definitely recommend it.

The apartment and the kitchen were well equipped and very clean
From the balcony you could watch deer in the garden, which came by from time to time
Greg and Estrella were always available and small problems were solved immediately.

- Bob (6/5): A wonderful property, except for the lack of soundproofing. - Kelowna Little Island has a lot to recommend it. Greg and Estella were very welcoming, and we really appreciated them finding a spot for us to store our bikes. The location was wonderful; it was just a 20 minute walk to downtown, and the bike ride to a grocery store and liquor store was quick and stress free on Kelowna's wonderful bike route system. The creek running along 2 sides of the property is very attractive, and if the weather had been a bit warmer we would have enjoyed having our morning coffee on the little balcony. I did enjoy a beer on the provided patio furniture one day when the weather finally warmed up. Prospective renters should be aware, however, that the property is on a busy street, so the reality isn't quite as tranquil as the pictures suggest.
We also really appreciated how well the kitchen was equipped. We have stayed in several short-term rentals, and this one was easily the best equipped. Even thinking to put a package of Band-Aids in the medicine chest was a thoughtful touch. We had only one complaint, and unfortunately it was serious enough that it is difficult to give the property a glowing review. The property is a house that has been divided into three separate suites, the other two which appear to be rented to long-term tenants. The other tenants were quite responsible, but unfortunately the building has NO soundproofing at all, so normal voiced talking, low volume TV/music, and even coughing, made its way into our suite. At one point we both thought the other one had turned on a radio, but it was the tenant next door. Worse yet, one of the tenants was a real night owl, so his TV was on all hours of the night. Fortunately the suite's bathroom was between our bedrooms and the common wall, so we only heard the TV when in the bathroom, but it was sobering to hear it during a middle-of-the-night bathroom break.
