• Dagmar Crasemann (7/5): - Die Lage war sehr zentral und im 5.Stock hell und ruhig. Allerdings etwas hellhörig und den Raucherhusten vom direkten Nachbarn hat man jeden Morgen sehr früh deutlich gehört. Das Badezimmer ...extrem klein, und einige Mängel, die wir den Vermietern direkt gemeldet haben. Auch die Beleuchtung war z.t. defekt.

• amitabh (8/5): Nice appartment for small family and for short stay 2 to 3 days max - The location, and accesibility for different places from the appartment. 7 min walk to Basel SSB can get BUS 36 infront of the house to go to ZOO or and from other side with the same bus can go to Basel BAD station, Well equiped * TV with netflix good heating sysytem bladeless fan , they also have a small dishwasher which congested the kitchen table top but handy. Variety of tea and coffee provided was great . Appartment had a Small tool box and some spare light bulb, batteries which can really be handy 1. The size of the toilet which is small but the bathtub has made it more congested. Would suggest to remove the bathtub with a shower cubicle which will provide some space. and also allow to have a stand to hang towel and cloth. 2. The curtain rod which is adjustable tension type .it would have been better if it was fixed type,as this rod fell a few times during our 4 days stay. and since there is no drain any water that spills out of the bathtub is really difficult to remove . 3. Kitchen sink is very close to the HOB if you are not carefull you might spill water onto the HOB 4. The height at which they have placed the microoven is not easily reachable for people less than 165 cm

• Gabriela (10/5): Kurztrip Basel - Es war ein sehr gelungener Kurztrip in Basel, ein sehr schönes Städtchen das man gesehen haben muss. Das Appartement war sehr hell und groß. Es war eine Mini Spülmaschine da,die hat uns sehr imponiert. Kaffeemaschine mit Taps, Milch,Zucker alles was man so braucht, war vor Ort. Wir kommen wieder. Der einzige Kritikpunkt wäre dass das Bad erneuert würde.Eine Dusche wäre da angebracht, da der Raum klein ist.
• Versweyveld (1/5): horrible! - We could not have breakfast there because of the terrible noise and we had to sit in the dark because of the violation of our privacy. (see below) The flat (5th floor) is located in a construction site. We arrived and saw scaffolding around the building. When we asked if work was being done, we were told, “We don't know anything about that”. We woke up early in the morning to the deafening sound of hammering on the outside walls (I have recorded it and send it to the firm and Booking.com). When we raised the shutters, we saw workmen looking straight into our bedroom! Unbelievable! (see photos) The landlords continued to claim that they were/are not aware of this. That is a blatant lie, because as a landlord, you would know. After several days of back-and-forth chatting, they offered a ridiculous, so-called “compensation” on a future stay, namely a 20% discount! That is a denial of our privacy violation and therefore a company that is only interested in profit. Booking.com claims that they cannot add anything to this either. A disgrace. Do not book with this company!!!!

• Silvia (7/5): Ubicación excelente - La ubicación Que no esta del todo preparada la cocina para tanto electrodoméstico y has de hacer malabares para enchufar el microondas, el lavaplatos una odisea porque es portátil y has de poner tu el agua manual y poner tu el desague en el fregadero. Tenedores solo 3, es justo pues eramos tres. En canvio un detalle de dulce y comodidad de las camas y toallas de sobras para los tres. Se ve bien equipado para el hinvierno. Y el contacto con los propietarios muy fluido.

• Bublaku (1/5): Bad - Severely unsafe experience – deeply disturbing and unacceptable I stayed in this apartment with my sister and cousin (all women) from April 5 to April 8. What started as a normal visit turned into a deeply disturbing and unsafe experience. On two nights, someone remotely took over the smart TV and forced disturbing videos to play — including explicit content, Serbian nationalist music (which as Kosovars is extremely traumatic), and a video that made us feel we were being watched. We felt unsafe, anxious, and deeply violated. The apartment’s YouTube was already logged into a strange account, showing clear lack of digital security. The hosts failed to take any responsibility and dismissed our concerns as “a hacking case,” without proper investigation. As three women alone in a foreign country, this caused serious emotional stress. The host refused to take any responsibility, did not investigate the issue, and ignored all our follow-up messages. I cannot recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a safe and respectful stay. Booking.com gave us only partial compensation, but the hosts took no action and remained completely silent. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL.
• Maria (10/5): Wonderful, will come back! - Very welcoming flat, lots of blankets and pillows, simple but somehow had everything you need. Even some vinegar, oil, shower gel. Loved it! Even if external blinds were available, I missed curtains. Every time I needed privacy, had to lower the blinds and that made the room dark.

The pictures of the apartment were true to form and the beds were very comfortable. The weather was cold during our trip but the apartment was warm and cozy.

• Dorotheia (9/5): I recommend the Modern LiSA apartment. - Nearby the train station, close to the park and zoo. The apartment was nice. And the guest very friendly and helpful. The internet was very good. The building had a scheduled for the heating system. Only in the evening they started the heat. And they closed it off a few hours later. So all night and half of the day it was very cold in the apartment. But the guest were very nice and they had given me a radiator.
• Joan (8/5): Very good - The location is superb spotlessly clean which is always my main concern ..couldn't fault it in that respect..very very quiet at night. Peaceful. Hosts were superb at keeping in contact all the time with very rapid responses to.our questions beds are fabulous. I really don't think it's necessary to have a dishwasher you are never going to have so many people there that you can't wash a few cups and plates in the sink there's no countertop space it's very awkward to get the toaster and kettle to work, unplugging one to plug in an other appliance, also another adaptor would save having to keep unplugging the kettle to use the toaster etc....its a minor thing but would be so much better if the dishwasher didn't take up such valuable space. It wouldn't stop we visiting again though as the rest of the facilities are excellent! But you did ask the question !

• Kamal (10/5): Exceptional - I can say this studio apartment is superb. The owner seems like very understand the needs of tenant. The house is very complete, 5 minutes walking to basel sbb station. We never missed the train schedule. The balcony is for smokers like me and son. The kitchen has microwave, coffee maker, sugar, coffee, toaster, extension wire, fridge, sofa, wifi, neflix, dining table and all plates and bowl. For me it is 5 star apartment. Value for money.

• Ian (10/5): Exceptional - Great location near the station, but remarkably quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Also loved the coffee machine. Definitely a preferred place to stay in Basel. I think the dishwasher makes the kitchen hard to use. Also there is a definite need for a large cutting board, a new bread knife, oven mitts, olive oil. Finally the trash bag not fitting the trash can was annoying.
• Hsin-yi (10/5): Exceptional - As expected, this apartment deserves its high rating. Our second booking is also nearing its end, and I must say, I really enjoy the city of Basel. Switzerland is filled with beautiful scenery everywhere you go. Additionally, I want to inform you that a plate cracked yesterday when we were heating food in the microwave. Thank you for providing such a high-quality accommodation.

• Mansur (6/5): Pleasant - The location in the city is really convenient. Though the apartment is small, there's a good selection of appliances to use in the kitchen. The building itself isn't great. Stinks of smoke, had extremely noisy building work going on while we were there. The hand soap and body wash in the bathroom was dish soap!
• Ma (9/5): MODERN LISA APARTMENT - The location is near the train, tram and bus station. The Supermarket is just 2 blocks away, very convenient for us. We like the natural light of the apartment because of the huge windows, we enjoy the view of an open space. The house is clean and comfortable. What we saw in the photos online is the same as what we saw in the actual space. Very accurate instructions, we did not have any problem checking-in and out, in using the appliances and in directions going to the apartment from basel sbb. The elevator was down for a week, we had to bring our 5 luggages through the stairs and the unit is at the 5th level. It was really tiring going up every day. Construction of the elevator was being done when we left, I hope it is now fixed.

• Jenelyn (9/5): Modern Lisa experience - I like the location because it is near the train station and supermarket.Very convenient.I like the way they write all the instructions in different languages.The beds are so comfortable.Everything we need are there.overall the Apartment is clean and nice.I would recommend for maximum of 4 people only.The staff are excellent for always communicating through emails.We enjoyed our stay. The view from the windows is nice at night but not on days because of the on going constructions.An extra pillow would be nice😆More plants to be placed at the terrace to give a bit of privacy would make the place perfect

• Alison (9/5): Great location, everything you need, at a great price! - This apartment was a great value in Basel. The location was excellent -- just a block off the main train station, very easy to get to the old town via the many trams available. Easy to take the train to Colmar and Strasbourg to see the markets at Christmas. Lots of hot water in the shower, Although they were not able to store our luggage, they gave directions on how to store luggage at the train station so we could explore downtown Basel prior to check in -- all very easy. Directions were given prior to arrival for key pickup at a lock box in front of the building. ONLY negative I could come up with is that the bed/mattress was uncomfortable -- very hard, and we like a hard mattress. But truly this is very minor, and it would not at all impact my decision to stay at the apartment again.
• Silvia (7/5): Good - The apartment was fine. It is located close by main train station and grocery store, which was very convenient for us. Check in was easy. Plenty of coffee and tea for our use. Personally, I did not like the dishwasher sitting on the kitchen counter. It is not needed in this small kitchen and it takes up valuable counter space. Extra roll of toilet paper would be nice. Had to go buy our own.
• Sarah (8/5): Furniture needs updating (couch and chair are very uncomfortable), and new pillows too! - The spot where the lockbox was is in the dark. No lights in front of the building… also did not find the switch inside, so had to use my phone light in pitch black to climb the stairs
• Stefaan (9/5): Superb - Excellent appartment with perfectly equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. The internet connection is bad. Initially OK, but after 10-15 minutes the connection becomes extremely slow, and it becomes even impossible to work. This occurred everyday. Given the crazy prices for mobile data in Switzerland, this is really a shortcoming.
• Femi (9/5): It was worth our while! - The apartment looks small at first but once you settle in, it feels more spacious. We arrived by train. The apartment is just about 400 meters away. Getting there was easy following the instructions/directions provided by the hosts. There is a detailed written instruction about how everything from the dishwasher, the coffee machine to the electric cooking plate work. There are 2 double beds in the apartment. Those are good, spring box, solid beds too. The pillows felt better than most I have had in my hundreds of stays in hotels and apartments around the world. The internet is really important for my work and it is one thing I always dread while staying in apartments and hotels. The connection here was really great! Everything you need for a short stay is available in the apartment. There is even a printer (naturally with detailed instructions) just In case you might need one. The view from the balcony is one of a large construction site. But there is nothing the hosts can do about that! In fact the whole of Basel looks like a big construction site! Surely, when it is finished the view will be great.

• Taimur (8/5): Very good location with spacious and well equipped property - Attention to detail. Everything was in place with details provided. Location was very good, 5 mins walk to train station. Spacious and well equipped. Light system at entrance after lift was poor. Lift can only accommodate two. We got overwhelmed by the amount of instructions. Be careful with TV, May wash dishes , careful with garbage bins - felt like school children being marked by strict teacher 😁
• Carlos (9/5): We recommend the city and the apartment! - The apartment is well located, near the train station, bus stop and supermarket, and nicely decorated. Coffee and tea bags were kindly provided, as well as some local specialities which were highly appreciated! In general, all amenities were provided. Information provided by the hosts was useful and accurate. In some ocasions, there was an intense cigarette smell coming from other neighbour's balconies, which did not allow us to keep the windows open.

• Alison (10/5): Fabulous central apartment got our holiday off to a good start! - Spotlessly clean apartment, minutes on foot from the station, with two comfortable double beds (no sofa beds here) and good quality bedding and towels. The host left some edible treats which were local to the area; a lovely unexpected touch. We only stayed for one night because we were continuing with our journey, but this apartment exceeded our expectations. The only small point was that the TV was mounted on the wall in such a way that it was overhanging the dining area. This is because it could be swivelled to watch it either from the sofa or from the beds, but it was in our way while eating and we were reluctant to move the position of it in case of damage.
• Atul (9/5): Really enjoyed our stay - The property is conveniently located a short walk from SBB Basel, where Basel Trams connect to other parts of the city. The apartment has all amenities, and the hosts did a great job documenting the provisions and responded to our questions and requests promptly. They even provided us with Basel Travelers Card which is greatly appreciated. The bathroom space is tight, even by European standards, although its fitted with a tub. We couldn't figure out how to connect the dishwasher to the water faucet, but that's a minor inconvenience.
