• Sammyfam (8/5): Convenient and updated, large family home - The location is literally across the street from the Seven Sisters underground station. Made travel into London so easy! The overground is nearby too, so if you are sensitive to noise or can't go back to sleep easily, take that into consideration. I wouldn't say it's a really nice part of town, and the garage next door seemed to have something weird going on, but we always felt safe, even when coming back late at night. The home is definitely updated and a "gem", like it says. The bedrooms are large, beds are just how I like them, not too firm, not too soft. One bathroom and bedroom on each floor. Very convenient. Small washer and dryer were excellent, and there was even a little detergent there, if we'd forgotten ours. The kitchen has basic pots and pans. Bring your own measuring cups and spoons, though. There are quite a few spices, salt and pepper provided. Good sized fridge and freezer. Large family table made it so all of us could eat together. If you're going to have a stay over a few days, you may want to ask for extra toilet tissue and paper towels or buy/bring your own. My 75 year old parents did okay, but just be aware there are a lot of stairs and showers require extra care if you are older. They are narrow and require sure footing to get in and out of.
