The "hot" water was not even luke warm - not very pleasant to have cool showers, but also not hygienic for washing dishes. And the kitchens were poorly equipped for the number of people. okay if you're planning to eat out all the time.

The appartement complex has two supermarkets, which is nice. The building is not that quiet as there are many roads surrounding it. The facilities were alright but the cleanliness can be improved. There is. a pool in the building but you have to book it in advance.

• Jenny (2/5): Awful. Never again. Buyer Beware. - BEFORE YOU BOOK, READ ABOUT WHAT WE DIDN'T LIKE FIRST. The location is great, the facilities could be cleaner but you have everything you need. Everything LOOKS modern but is made cheaply with poor craftsmanship. In the end, I do believe the host tried their best however; we can't dispute the roller coaster ride we experienced with booking this place. I wish I could write a detailed review about our stay but booking.com limits how long our review can be so here it is: - we did NOT get what we booked. We booked a two-bedroom apartment but upon checking in we were told different stories about why it's not available (air conditioning not working, no two-bedroom available). - we ended up having to stay in a studio apartment for our family of 4 the first night. While my son was napping, someone used their key card to come into the apartment UNANNOUNCED. - the next day we were told we could move to a two-bedroom apartment. While we told the host our son had just gone down for a nap and we could move after he wakes, someone came into our room AGAIN unannounced, waking him. It was a cleaning lady who was there to clean the room before the next guest arrives. By not giving us the two-bedroom apartment we had booked, we were essentially being 'checked out' making it very inconvenient for our family's schedule. - the kitchen drawers, utensils, bed linens and pillows were dirty - there were laundry left in the washing machine - we were not provided apartment details such as wifi, garbage disposal, etc until we asked for this info - when we asked the host if we can have a late check out, she said it will be $7USD/hour. We wanted to check out 4 hours later so we agreed on the $28USD charge. We told the host we could pay cash and she had her staff come collect the money. Upon collection, the staff told us because our bills were not new, the dollar value would be less if they exchanged it to VND so therefore we need to pay an extra $5USD. This is ridiculous. How the money exchange works in Vietnam has nothing to do with us.

Plus, its distance from the bustling district 1 ensured a quiter stay. On the flip side, accessing the gym proved to be a bit of a hassle. Having to seek staff assistance during office hours (9am - 5pm) to use the gym facilities was inconvenient for me.

Really easy access to the city centre and foods markets , restaurants right next to the building. It was advertised as sleeping 8 people, but there were only 3 double beds. The makeshift bed that the host provided when we brought this up was not the most comfortable. Would definitely be a squeeze with more than 6 people. There were also ants everywhere, including some in the bedrooms, which was unfortunate.

I picked the wrong location but for some people who want to experience the more traditional side of Vietnam (noisy, chaotic) may like this. A little tricky as had to go to an office but the instructions on WhatsApp were clear (just a little unnerving at first as I don't speak any Vietnamese and it was my first time there. They wanted to charge to hold my luggage for an hour on the last day which was a little disappointing seeing as they had a location set aside for that.

• Archer (10/5): Worth for money - Everything is good about this apartment. Very suitable for big family or friends group The time of arrival was not met. We had to wait 40 mins with the luggage until apartment was ready. One room has a very hard bed, one of us even slept in the sofa because of it.
• Zara (10/5): I love millennium too much, highly recommend this hotel !! - Love the coziness of the place, really does feel like home away from home. If you don't plan to leave the place much, it's a great place to retreat to with the facilities around the place. And if you do plan to go out to explore, there are places a few mins drive away like Bui Vien street & Ben Thanh market.
• Jesse (10/5): Luxury apartment with central location - We love this place. Although only for a short time here, it was enough to feel. Fully furnished for guests and room very clean. We especially loved the hospitality and kindness of the staff. I will come back here when I get the chance! The Western restaurants were not offer me the Menu.
• Carrie (10/5): Very nice place. Highly recommended - Very good location- you have everything downstairs, a mini supermarket, two convenience stores and even a pharmacy. The building is also a short 10 min drive to D1. safety- security guards were friendly and you need a keycard for a specific floor so there is that added layer of safety The beds are hard and stiff, would like a softer bed
• Clifford (10/5): Highly Recommendation !! - The place is the perfect accommodation for groups or families. The location is perfect, there are local markets and restaurant around as well as convenient stores below the building. Our host Thuy is amazing. From booking taxis, spas, restaurants, tours and recommendations for places to visit, she was very helpful and welcoming. Being a Vietnam citizen, she suggested the best places to try local food, where to exchange money, how to book a taxi, she basically went out of his way to make out stay as memorable as possible. It was a short but very happy holiday. Will definitely come back if time permits. Thank you so much Thuy, you are the best! I would suggest having some information on places to visit in English and some basic Vietnamese conversation to be translated to English because it's been difficult speaking to locals but everything else is manageable.
• Holly (10/5): Very nice place to stay, much more for the price than the small no ventilation rooms you will find - Nice view from all rooms, big apartment with kitchen and smart TVs. Staff were helpful with my requests. I'll definitely come back! The place is elegant and cosy, great location, clear and easy self check in instructions. The mattress for 2 bedrooms are extremely hard. We stayed there for 2 weeks and didn't have good sleep on that beds.

• Prewitt (10/5): Super excenllent for visitor - Decent location, clean and everything works. Pool was lovely, and definitely good value for money. A little to complain about. There didn't seem to be any surprises. We got what we paid for and expected. Check in could have been smoother, but nothing dramatic.

The staff were very kind and professional, always going the extra mile to make me happy. The pool was fantastic, with a gorgeous view of the city and the water. This was the ideal place to experience the culture and excitement of Ho Chi Minh City.

• Sally (1/5): The room was not as advertised - much smaller, not modern and had very smelly drains - The room we were given was nothing like the rooms advertised on booking.com. As soon as they showed us to the room I complained immediately and said this was nothing like what we booked (much much smaller, very cramped, much uglier, poor aircon, very smelly drains which gave a disgusting smell to the tiny apartment from the bathroom). I asked to swap to one of the nicer apartments (as pictured on Booking.com). They said if we wanted to swap we had to pay more for a nicer room, and when I complained and said we shouldn't have to pay more, they pushed back and we argued via whatsapp for hours. Eventually we did pay more to move, but they wouldn't move us until the next day. We then found out its actually illegal for this particular building to do short-term holiday lets, which made us feel uncomfortable - we didn't like staying somewhere where we were unknowingly breaking the building rules - there are signs in every elevator, and by the entrances making it very clear that this activity was illegal. Overall we did eventually get moved to a nicer room, but they wouldn't give us the same price (we ended up having to pay more), and we spent hours arguing via whatsapp to get moved from our disgusting and tiny original room. It felt like a bit of a scam and I didn't like that we had no office/manager to go to when we needed to speak to someone - just got given a number via whatsapp to complain to.
