- Kata (10/5): -
- Anne (7/5): - Erika was a great host who was easy to communicate with and provided helpful information. If you’re looking for an apartment close to all the action in Trastevere, this place will certainly provide, with very easy access to the rest of the city. The shower has good water pressure and the bed is comfortable. The apartment had an unpleasant odour that seemed to be originating from the washroom. Also, it would have been good to have some paper towels in the kitchen.
The street is a major thoroughfare, so tended to be quite noisy, especially at night. Earplugs for sleeping would be recommended if you’re a light sleeper.
- Sezar (5/5): -
- Osk (10/5): Charming flat in a great location ! - Fantastic location. Clean and clutter free. Comfortable bed. Linen and towels were soft and fresh. The excellent aircondition ( and a small heat fan also ) This is an very old part of Rome and you can not expect modern plumbing, therefore keep in mind that some smell could be experienced.
- Riccardo (1/5): Terribile. - Nulla! Terribile! Claustrofobica!

- Aleksandra (8/5): Super spot do wieszania dla - Genialna lokalizacja, w samym centrum urokliwego Trastevere, pełnego knajpek i sklepików. Pieszo można dojść do wszyskich najważniejszych zabytków Rzymu. Pani miła i bezproblemowa. Kuchnia słabo wyposażona, jeden kieliszek do wina i jedna filiżanka do kawy, brak czajnika.
- Marta (9/5): - Super central location, close to everything. Easy to reach.
- Grazia raperonzolo (10/5): - Posizione eccezionale
- Susanna (9/5): -
- Luca (8/5): - La posizione, check in molto in anticipo rispetto a quanto previsto, qualità prezzo Mancava il bidet, poca cura dei dettagli, rumore dell’aria gore in bagno
- Carmen (7/5): Superb location but not very comfortable - The location is superb and the staff was very nice and helpful. The apartment is quiet despite being in one of Trastevere's main streets. The checkin is easy and you can leave the baggage in a store room. The apartment is not comfortable for more than sleeping and having a shower. The shower was leaking water and the fridge is noisy.

We moesten
- Chloe (9/5): - Amazing location, great amenities and great instructions from the host! Super helpful! Bed was really comfortable and the perfect space for a trip to Rome! Because the bathroom had no windows it got a bit damp inside sometimes! But this was minor and prevented if you shut the bathroom with the extractor on.
- Cathy (10/5): Travestere is the place to stay in Rome - Erika was wonderful and very accommodating. The location was wonderful and right in the heart of Travestere's restaurants and shops!
- Anastasiia (10/5): We enjoyed staying at this place so much. The location, the little balcony and cozy upstairs sleeping place. We recommende - The apartament itself, the location, host and everything else! One thing - it was quite noisy😃 but that’s the Trastevere, we knew what we are signing for! But don’t forget to bring earplugs to you trip!
- Laura (10/5): - The location, the service and the quirkyness! Nothing
- Alessandro (10/5): - In centro è vicina a tutti i punti d’interesse di Roma, appartamento semplice e ben pulito.
- Nicholas (10/5): -
- Ekaterina (4/5): Read this before booking! - The location is great The smell - very strong sewage smell. They try to cover it with strong chemicals (cleaning supplies?) but the fact is it is hard to breathe in there. We tried to be in the apartment as little as possible. My daughter gaged every time we had to walk in.
The apartment looks good in the pictures, but in reality it is a shabby tiny old place. We had a weird couch with no cushions. Literally could not sit longer than two minutes on it. The loft is so low that you have to crawl on your knees to get in. I still managed to bump my head a few times on the beam.
The apartment also did not feel clean. The floors and surfaces were sticky. Everything is old and smelly.
- James (10/5): Host was warm and welcoming, had everything you needed and great location - Lovely cute apartment, stayed with my girlfriend. Location was perfect. Loads of bars and restaurants right on the door step with the river right next to it with some good bars down there and a good atmosphere at night for a couple of drinks Nothing
- Mike (9/5): Great stay, very good location many places to eat and drink on the same street. Walkable to all the sights of Rome room - Location was great! Walkable to everything in Rome. Room had everything we needed!
- Olivia (8/5): Perfect stay in the heart of authentic Rome - Amazing location right in the heart of Trastevere. Loved that it was in a less touristy part of Rome but was still bustling with heaps of great bars and restaurants around. Erika was a great host and available very promptly for whatever we needed - providing great recos for places to go eat around the area. The bed was much smaller than expected. My partner and I aren't very big people but only just fit into the bed. Ceiling height upstairs was also much lower than expected making it slightly uncomfortable for my partner.
There was a bar/trattoria right downstairs which opened till quite late so there was a fair bit of noise till well past midnight. I did expect it to be close to these types of venues but didn't expect the huge amount of noise to come through.
- Ian (10/5): Exceptional - Best location!!! We loved our time there and all positive review of the facility. Not much. For us it worked extremely well. Exactly what we wanted for our Roman holiday.
- Stella (9/5): Great location, nice hosts, perfect for 4-5 day trip - The location was perfect, we walked to all the monuments so I highly recommend it. Additionally, the neighbourhood was amazing with everything you need from food to beverages in under 10 mins of walk The only not so convenient thing we’re the stairs toward the bed, we’re not so tall but probably would not be very pleasant if your tall
- Natalia (7/5): Location good - amenities not really - The property was located very good, across the door there were bars, pubs, restaurants, at a distance of about 15 min walk nice destinations like Pantheon and Fontana di Trevi. Nevertheless the property was very small, I am 1,60 m and at the floor where is the bed I could not stay on full feet. I dont know what a tall person will do. In one morning I woke up to the alarm and bumped my head across the wooden sealing. Also the bed is very small, even for 2 persons, I would say its 1,5 persons.
On the 1st floor there is a bed in the picture but it has no matress like in the picture, its very unconfortable.
The kitchen not very good equiped, didnt have towels or paper, we had to use toilet paper for the hands, but even toilet paper was only 2.
- Bowie (10/5): Great short stay apartment in the heart of Trastevere. - Amazing location. Cozy and tidy apartment, just what we were after for our stay in Rome Nothing we didn’t like everything was perfect
- Karen (9/5): Excellent value, location and service. - Location fabulous. Basic but very clean apartment, communication excellent and very helpful Boiler noisy at night when it kicked in. The crockery etc provided was a bit of a random selection but in no way ruined the visit
- Marta (8/5): Cosy central location - Amazing location, in the centre of Trastevere. Walking distance from most of the main attractions and well connected with public transport (bus, tram)
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional - The location is perfect lots of great restaurants near by and walking distance to all major sites. The room was very well equipped. The bed was comfy. Giulia was very helpful, gave very clear instructions for check-in and responded to any enquiries quickly.
- Wilshire (10/5): Great location! Clean, cozy & comfortable place! Fantastic host! - The location of this place was great! We had read about how trendy and artsy the Trastevere area was and it didn't disappoint. There were street performers and musicians at the square down the street that were great! There are tons of restaurants, markets, pharmacies, and vendors right out the door. You're steps from walking along the Tiber River. The host was great and always easy to contact. Instructions for check-in were easy and clear. The place was super cute, comfortable, and had everything we needed. There's really cool lights with different color settings we loved. We'll definitely book here again if we're lucky enough to go back to Italy! The only thing that could possibly be an issue is if you're quite tall. I'm only 5'2" and found everything perfectly comfortable but you have to be careful getting into the loft style bed so you don't bang your head. Not an issue with us but could possibly be for others.
- Paul (1/5): Horrible experience for us pictures don’t match - We loved the location - the room was nice (maybe 5 years ago) but not now and poorly maintained you can see dirt marks and poor repairs so I cannot understand recent reviews? but if you check other reviews you can see the same issues - this apartment does not match old pictures they show of a clean apartment which is not fair or even allowed to be done as it’s misleading - we found when we returned there was no aircon remote so we messaged the host that night, the host did not reply until the following morning leaving us in a red hot room unable to sleep and ruining the stay (the bed space is so small it gets too hot and without aircon it’s unbearable we were covered in sweat - bed space is tiny the photos are taken at a very good angle to hide this (you crawl in and out of bed so using the toilet is beyond hard work). Mouldy tiles, rusty bin, chipped furniture, sofa is a bare frame with no padding and does not match pictures - worst place I have ever stayed at a premium rate that in no way is worth paying for Very uncomfortable dirty place not worth it’s money we felt ripped off - staff couldn’t care less unhelpful and unavailable - dirty linen, dirt tea towel… shocked!
Our romantic getaway was a nightmare
- Martine (8/5): All in all a satisfactory stay and fulfilled our purpose fully - cozy apartment, which was very centrally located in a charming area with good restaurants and bars. The host was very friendly and service minded The apartment was smaller than we had imagined. Especially the ceiling height in the bedroom, was a challenge for my partner, who is about 2 meters tall :-) There was some noise from the street at night, but that is probably to be expected when choosing a holiday home in this area with bars
- Ellen (10/5): We had a lovely time in Rome thanks to Magenta Collection - Fantastic location!
- Brandy (10/5): Excellent location! - The location was incredible! It was great all around!
- Steele (10/5): Exceptional - everything n/a
- Dominika (10/5): I recommend this hotel - excellent location
monuments very close to the hotel.
who loves bars and restaurants, the hotel is made for him because everything is nearby.
Reception (Giulia) was very willing to help us.
- Tatiana (10/5): Great stay in Trastevere - Very cute and comfortable. Best location! Clean, comfortable, convenient
- Chris (9/5): Perfect stay in an absolutely unbeatable location, with really helpful hosts - Location is absolutely amazing, right in the heart of the Trastevere district in the middle of the bustling bars and restaurants. The location really is amazing! Despite this, the apartment itself is quiet and the air con was perfect and much needed! The room has a mid size fridge which we really appreciated, and the facilities were great. It is fairly small but was perfect for our needs as just 2 people, and a great base to return to to change and get back out. Bed is comfortable and we got used to the bed deck quickly, plus the air con could be switched to aim upwards at night which was perfect. Hosts were also great over messengers and WhatsApp, very helpful and accommodating! The bed deck/mezzanine level takes some getting used to, especially if you're tall, and won't be for everyone, but again with air con possible to aim upwards, and with the other massive positives, this didn't cause us any problems
- Kat (10/5): Delightful - Ideal location. The street is charming. Surrounded by restaurants and cafes. Walking distance to all the Roman sights.
Would definitely stay here again if I return to Rome. N/a
- Zoltan (9/5): Superb - Location, vibe, communication with the host. Small things: missng glasses, broken cork-screw
- Pia (8/5): Very good -
- Pressn (10/5): Highly recommended lovely self-contained studio. - Immaculate, well appointed, perfectly located in Trastevere, easy self check-in, warm & very friendly host. I slept 10 hours in the comfortable bed! Every care was taken to ensure a great stay. Loved everything.
- Shaw-pritchard (10/5): Great location and facilities. - Flat is very cosy with everything needed for a short stay. Bed is very comfy and all the facilities needed are available. I am 6ft2 and the headspace is limited however does not lack character.
The best bit is the location, out of the door is very lively with great bars and restaurants.
Hosts were very helpful and attentive. Overall I highly recommend.
- Anna (6/5): Pleasant - The location of the apartment is amazing, the area has great restaurants and bars within 3-8 minutes walk. The old town is a nice 15-20 min walk as well.
The apartment was clearly well cleaned before our arrival. The hosts are responsive and nice. Unfortunately the comfort of the apartment is rather low. It's pretty humid and smells of it instantly. The couch downstairs is not really a couch so cannot really relax there. The bed area is super low so hard to get to and especially from the bed (we hit our heads multiple times) and the walls... they are really really dirty!!!
Bathroom gets extremely wet as soon someone takes a 3 min shower. There is nothing to clean the water leaking. The toilet gets clogged easily.
There is also some mold so if you're allergic, be careful. The WiFi doesn't work well :(
- Christine (7/5): Basic accommodation in a great location. - Great location and size. Ammenities need updating - the bathroom has a lot of mould and exposed asbestos; the mattress is very stained and the kitchen is lacking of some of the essentials such as wine glasses.
- Alessandro (8/5): Recommend it for a young couple for the position, price and availability of the owner. - The position was excellent and a small cozy apartment perfect for a couple. The owner was super available.
- Helen (10/5): Really enjoyed this! Thanks - Great location Bed ceiling height is very low
- Millie (6/5): Pleasant - The location was excellent. Very good communication with the staff. Fortunately I only stayed one night. The flat was very very tiny. The bed area was almost claustrophobic. It was not super clean, but for one night, around 10 hours was okay.
- Barbora (10/5): Amazing apartment found in even more amazing quarter in Rome. If you are looking for a cozy place in the heart of Rome, - Great location, clean apartment
- Samir (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional - From the very first minutes that you walking up the stairs to go to your room you understand that this is a place that someone loves what he is doing and has taste. The room is very beautiful as it shows at the pictures. It was smelling very nice and everything was clean and fresh. It has everything that you need and more. The place is very near by at everything you want to see in Rome at 30 minutes walk the most. The neighborhood is the best and one of the most beautiful in Rome!! If we come to Rome again, definitely we will stay here !
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing location, right by so many nice bars and restaurants! Would definitely stay here again.
- Małgorzata (8/5): Overall decent accomodation for your stay in Rome. Great location! - Very good location, everything is walking distance. Apartment is small but has all basic equipment for short-term stay. The bed/mattress could be more comfortable and the fridge is freezing the food but overall is decent accommodation for your Rome stay. Matress
- Sebastian (6/5): A cheap and basic apartment to sleep in, but not much besides that. Good location. Nice host. - The host was very nice and quite responsive. He sent us detailed instructions for the self check-in and out. The location was very nice and general aesthetics of the apartment were pleasing at first glance. It's an okay apartment. It's cheap and you can feel it very much. Overall the apartment was clean, but smelt like vinegar, more on that later. The fact that it felt like the apartment was put together from the cheapest things you could find. Some badly needing replacing. Shower head was falling apart, so was bathroom bin. Toilet flush only worked in half and it kept kept going full tilt for 30s every time you used it. There was mold on the shower walls and ceiling in the bathroom. The water from the shower was leaking on the bathroom floor. Ventilation system in the bathroom was loud and completely inefficient leaving the bathroom completely steamy. Coffee machine was unusable due to massive amount of calcium deposit in it. No tea, no coffee, no sugar. I'm not going to buy full bags of these things if I'm only in town for couple nights. WiFi was working only sometimes and kept disappearing from our two smartphones. The bed was kinda made, but the duvet wasn't covered (and was kind of itchi), instead we got an extra sheet. Both the bed and pillow sheets and the towels smelt like vinegar. House rules said to take the trash out every day, but there wasn't any extra garbage bags to be found.
- Erik (9/5): Superb - perfect location, easy check-in, friendly host lights were very bright. Bit more cosy warm lights would have been preferred
- László (6/5): Noisy and poorly equipped - The location is amazing, it's in the heart of Trastevere. The furnitures are old, the facility was very poor equipped (little things like no bag for trash...), the bed was told to be fine for 2 people but it was very small, we tried to separate so one could sleep on the sofa, but the sofa was extremely old and smelled. In the description it says that there is a terras but it was so small that one person could barely stand there.
The cleaning was poor, at the windows it was everything full of dust.
It was very noisy during the night, you could hear the noise from the bars and street. Definitely not recommended if you want to have a nice rest during the night.
Apart from the location, it's hard to say that we had a positive experience for such amount (we were even charged with higher tax amount and when we complained the answer came after we had to leave the apartment). We had only online contact with the owner, she never popped up to welcome us or to provide any information.
- Halit (10/5): Exceptional - ıI like the place
- Kirstin (10/5): Perfect location and easy to get around - The location was great
- Gaetan (10/5): Great stay @ Trastevere, Roma - Great location
Super helpfull staff
Easy access
Clear directions for check-in
Close contact by the staff None :)
- Martinez (10/5): Trip Rome July 2023 - The apartment has everything for a comfortable stay, bed, sofa bed, equipped kitchen, microwave, small fridge, coffee maker, air conditioning, hair dryer, hot water and washing machine, it is located very well, almost everything is within a distance of a bus or on foot if you decide to walk On the street of the apartment you can find restaurants, bars, a pharmacy right in front, a mini market just 5 minutes away on foot. My husband and I decided to stay here because of the location and it was the best decision. The trip was excellent. I would just like to comment that the gallery where the bed is upstairs is hotter, you can feel the difference comparing the lower part of the apartment. We went in the middle of summer (mid heat wave) and perhaps in autumn it is less hot.
- Kevin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Osborne (10/5): This was a great place to stay, and we would love to come back. - It was cozy and cute, right next to a piazza and tons of awesome restaurants. This area is slightly less touristy, and we liked that. Just note the bed is up stairs in a loft, so it was a little warmer up there. We were fine with it though.
- Anonymous (6/5): Pleasant - Fantastic location and great communication from the host. The bed was a soft mattress, but comfortable enough. Unfortunately, the bathroom has a strong mildew smell that wafted throughout the space. Some areas had very low ceilings, and as tall people we hit our head a few times!
- Jane (10/5): Exceptional - location - I could walk to everywhere I went.
a cute apartment. could do with some touching up
and I liked the lighting (small thing) I couldn’t get Tv to work though I didn’t try v hard. Wi-Fi not very strong.
- Iosif (10/5): patrizia was amazing, even with a broken foot - very cosy and comfortable lovely location
- Georgia (4/5): Great location but not worth the money - Good location. Communicative host. Clean, although sheets did smell of vinegar. Unfortunately have to say not worth it for the money. Tiny place that is quite run down. Bed isn’t comfortable and definitely need earplugs to block out the noise from outside, which luckily we brought after reading some other reviews. Our wifi didn’t work as the modem is placed in a different flat. Did report this to the host, was told to just try connecting again. The door to the flat is really tricky to open, not sure if this is due to the copied key or the old door but did take us several tries to lock and unlock each time.
- Jana (8/5): Very good - Great location, easy check in, little cozy apartament with small balcony. I was in Trastevere a lot of times but this one was for now the best , ideal for people who likes to be free and they like the comfort of a private apartment
- Gonzalo (10/5): Exceptional - Location, well equipped.
- Carlos (10/5): Really recommendable - The facilities are like the photos and the location is top Nothing really
- Guy (6/5): Pleasant - The studio is cozy and functional The windows face an extremely noisy disco-bar, which plays loud music until 1-2AM all week. Not recommneded for work-travel.
