• Nicholas (4/5): I'd like to have given a more positive review, but overall I was disappointed. - The property is well located, and the communications I had with the owners were good and friendly. It was comfortable and was reasonably clean. Security seemed good, and we really enjoyed being in Perth. The flat is 'tired' - the paint finishes on the kitchen cabinets were worn; the fridge was dented, the hinge on the microwave is damaged and the coffee machine told me that it needed cleaning and descaling. The entry instructions were quite good (in that they were enough for me to locate the lock box), but I was never sent the 4-digit code (I had to telephone the owner on a UK number for it). There are no instructions for the coffee machine, so we couldn't clean and descale it and the information provided in the apartment was out-of-date (e.g. the information about logging into the wifi). What this meant was that I had to contact the owner again . To be fair, my queries were answered quickly and in a friendly manner, but I don't think I should have needed to ask. The light in the bathroom (next to the loo) was very dusty and had a black hair draped across it. My security deposit was returned, but this was after a delay and I had to request it.

• Rocco (8/5): Great apartment equipped with everything you need. We had a few minor issues when we arrived, however, the owners Brent - A great unit, which had everything we needed. Pool area was great to cool down on the very hot days, pool was also not very crowded.

Super private large courtyard, enjoyed so many mornings outside for breakfast and evenings, relaxing for dinner and drinks. Everything available for a long stay. Lovely spacious bathroom. Loved the extra little personal touches of the decor. Felt so at home. Lovely pool which was an absolute bonus. Bus stop right outside. Short walk to Elizabeth Quay. Michelle and Brent were wonderful hosts, so easy to contact them if needed. Thank you so much for everything, the apartment was the icing on the cake for our first trip to Perth. Will definitely be returning 😊

• Norman (10/5): Good place to stay in Perth city - Great location to access the city, art galleries, museum, and also to the Botanic gardens. Comfy little apartment with everything we needed, huge courtyard which we didn't use much, it rained or we were out. Good bed, big bathroom, dishwasher was a nice extra, washer and dryer in roomy cupboard. Nothing much in the local area, just a liquor store, which was handy! You need sat nav to find your way :-)

• Tom (10/5): Hidden gem near the city and Swan River - Very impressed with the little touches like a Nespresso machine and some pods to get us started. Huge sunny private courtyard looking up towards Kings Park. We walked across the road to the lake and down to the Swan River. The pool was great, we had it to ourselves. Brent & Michelle were perfect hosts and easy to contact when we wanted to know what time the hotel breakfast was served. We will be back! Everything was great!

Was nice to be able to do our laundry also, definitely will be back. My partner thought the bed was uncomfortable but I thought it was fine. We noticed a bit of dust just around the edging of the front door when opened. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay and will stay again.
