Guest Reviews
- Michael (9/5): Garden oasis in the city. - For sure the garden was the highlight. It is like a nature oasis in Athens, you would struggle to find such a spacious private garden in the heart of Athens, perfect place to allow kids to play in safety or for adults to enjoy being in nature while also being in a city.
Worth staying here if only to enjoy a day in the beautiful garden, surrounded by turtles and nature. Could imagine a beautiful place for a gathering of friends or family during the day or on an evening (With some lighting brought).
The host was such a lovely and intelligent person too, genuinely felt healed a little after staying here. It was a little dated, not a bad thing if you've grown up staying in village houses like me, others may find the cramped bathroom, old fashioned architecture and older style decor and amenities off putting, for me it reminded me of my childhood staying in small Greek village homes, very quaint and was like going back to happy childhood memories, it definitely felt like a family home.
Could really use a good clean, lots of cobwebs, a cleaner could sort that in a couple of hours though so not a huge thing.
Wi-fi was not great but I don't think this is the type of place you should rent if you depend on wi-fi.
- Ilona (7/5): Exotic garden in non touristic Arhens neighborhood. Not ideal for dogs with cat problem - Beautiful
Small house. Fantastic garden. Very nice and lovely host. Yet most of the day in the garden. Not too much privacy.
Garden is well kept and amazingly exotic with palm and huge pine trees. Parrots flying around
Turtles in the garden
Good private parking Upper room in the attic is very hot, beds not comfortable. Without AC not bareble. A steep iron outdoor stairway leads up
The owner is very sweet and caring yet a lot in the garden.
We brought our dogs because pets ware welcome. Unfortunately there are many cats - also baby cats - which our dogs haunted. The owner asked us to leech the dogs. So we couldn’t leave them in this huge and astonishing garden while running errands.
The house is perfect for real life Athens with green around. Yet don’t bring your pets - unless they don’t care about the wildlife
The downstairs room with double bed and kitchen is cute
- Chrissy (10/5): Beautiful private garden. Excellent location for accessing the mountains and the city. - We had a wonderful stay at the villa. The garden is absolutely phenomenal. It is much bigger than it appears in the pictures and is fully enclosed and secure, so very safe for young children. We loved being able to pick fresh lemons from the trees in the garden. The facilities were perfect for our family. The location is great for getting into the mountains. My husband went mountainbiking most mornings and then we were able to get into the city centre for sightseeing in the afternoons. There are plenty of grocery stores nearby. Check-in was very easy and the host was very welcoming.
