Guest Reviews
- JOE (1/5): the worst experience all the way - Terrible ... trying to get my money back. the worst experience. they charged us something extra when we arrived. you have to go up walk 5 flights of stairs , not good. the ac was horiible, the door locked up and broke. it was just the worst experience. i asked for my money back terrible customer service. they have no business taking in people this is not adequate for a vacation stay. everything was awful

- Nicolas (10/5): Will come again!!! - We had a welcoming host, Beatrice, and her family. They were responsive over messages and accommodated all of our needs. Then, the host went above and beyond, when she surprised us with Neapolitan treats on the last day. I am immensely thankful. The building and location are in a part of Naples which does not feel touristy, but is walkable to every tourist destination we wanted to see (historical city center, Spanish quarter, palace). The rooms and bathrooms are private and then there is a large common space with refrigerator, TV, and couch. As far as I could see, every single room has a balcony which from which is was very charming to see the city below hi! Breakfast is at a nearby cafe Italian style (pastry and coffee) and included in your stay, it was delicious. Not a problem whatsoever for me, be aware that if you have mobility needs the rooms are several floors up without an elevator.
- Çağır (10/5): One of the best stays I've ever had — no exaggeration! - The moment I walked into the room, I felt like I had stepped into a little oasis. It was spotless, cozy, and had this calming energy that instantly made me feel at ease. Honestly, after five minutes I was already wondering if I could just... live there?
The bed? So comfortable it practically hugged me to sleep. The room was decorated with such care — simple, tasteful, and incredibly clean. I’ve stayed at luxury hotels that didn’t pay this much attention to detail. You could tell everything was prepared with love, not just for “guests” but for real people.
And the bathroom? Immaculate. I mean it. I’ve never seen tiles sparkle like that unless someone was getting ready for a royal visit. The water pressure was perfect, everything smelled fresh, and I found myself thinking: “Wow, I’ve never wanted to compliment a bathroom before, but here we are.”
The host was kind, responsive, and made the entire experience seamless. Every message was answered quickly and warmly, and I felt genuinely welcome.
If you’re looking for a peaceful, spotless, and stylish place to stay — don’t even hesitate. This place is a gem. I already miss it and I’m secretly checking my calendar to see when I can come back.
5 stars? I’d give it 6 if I could
- Marija (10/5): Exceptional - Very interesting interior, it was like going back in time. Very beautiful :)
- Cynthia (8/5): Enjoyed La Casa di Nonna Teresa. Comfortable, charming, convenient! The neighborhood is more local but not far from site - Location; charming older apartment with high ceilings, big rooms. Owner very nice and accommodating. Includes breakfast at a nearby bar which is good but no variety, just croissant and coffee/drink. Walk up to 4th floor. Had an issue with hot water one day but resolved quickly. Be aware because I didn’t pay attention and checkin only 12-2 and outside those hours it is 25 Rufo fee.
- Asdis (10/5): Lovely stay for a good price - Hotel owners are wonderful and helpful. Easy to arrange an airport pick up with them and they were so lovely when they picked us up even though it was very late due to our delayed flight. Place is beautiful, stylish and clean. Aircon was a godsend for the hot days. Easy 15 minute walk to the hustle and bustle of the city. For future guests I would say just be aware that there is a late check in fee of €25 and if you pay for a private bathroom it is a separate room to your bedroom, so you need to cross a hallway that is shared with other guests. Also it takes 66 steps of stairs to get to the hotel.
This was not a problem for us and we had a lovely stay, but helpful for people to know before they book.
- Bridgens (8/5): Would recommend. It’s close enough to the city and easy to navigate the metro or take a walk down to the centre, but fur - The beautiful old furniture, the location was great because it was very local and in the heart of Naples but wasn’t too touristy. The host was accommodating with our late check in. The view of the quaint street from the balcony was lovely. The breakfast usually includes a croissant and coffee voucher but the cafe is closed this time of year so we were treated to lots of snacks and treats in a hamper in our room. The check in window is very small (only 2 hours) and the late check in fee is €25. The room was very hot - the fan helped but we would recommend an AC being installed.
- Diana (10/5): Beautiful - It's a lovely apartment and a great host!
- Elida (10/5): Exceptional - Eveeything was great, very clean, the hospitality of the owners was super, location was amazing.
Fully reccomended
- Tatiana (7/5): Good - if you want to feel the real Naples life, then come here. We like to stay in non-touristy areas to experience a real city. You will live in a residential area in an old house from 1886. Be prepared to walk up to the 4th floor. The rooms are cozy, although there is a shared bathroom. Nearby there is an excellent pizzeria Staritta and a coffee shop with excellent coffee. Distance to the center on foot 30 minutes We didn't really like the noise on the streets, which sometimes wakes us up at night or early in the morning. I also didn’t like that the hostess asked to leave the room until 11 am.
- Adam (8/5): Very good - Old time castle vibe close to an amazing pizzeria. Was spacious and included a bath. Felt like a part of the Napoli community. The hot water was not sufficient to fill the tub, the tub drain plug was missing, the bedroom door was difficult to keep closed and we were charged an extra 15 euros for arriving at a later time.
- Vladana (9/5): Superb - Hosts were very nice and welcoming, they provided us with everything we needed to have a pleasant stay. They gave us helpful advice about how to experience Napoli and it's surroundings. Would surely recommend! Grazie e a presto!
- Anna (3/5): Poor - I liked the flat. What it looked like. The owner tried to make us feel welcome on the first day. Things were breaking apart. Electric was tripping off every day and the owner was rude and made us feel not comfortable.
- Badgerr (9/5): A Timeless Gem with Comfort - My recent stay at this charming Naples apartment was an unforgettable journey through history. The authentic furniture and the building's 1886 origin gave the space a unique and soulful vibe that's hard to find elsewhere. The fusion of heritage and modern comfort was flawlessly executed. The owners' responsiveness added a personal touch that made me feel truly welcome. If you're seeking an experience beyond the ordinary, this apartment is a must-visit. from the feeling that you live in a museum, sometimes it was scary to accidentally break something
