- Neville (9/5): Wonderful location, nice property with a good layout and fittings. - Great location, good layout.
- Sepi (8/5): -
- Ronnie (9/5): Quiet & remote. IF you love nature..there is a fireplace to warm up the entire house. Very comfortable. -
- Caroline (10/5): The property is in a great location, modern, clean and very warm. We will return to Halls Gap and hope to revisit this p - When we arrived the property was warm and welcoming . Clean and easy to access. Modern in a cottage style. Love the wood burner and comfortable beds Nothing
- John (9/5): - It was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The jug was temperamental. Other wise great.
- SabinaWagner (10/5): - Had a wonderful stay in Halls Gap. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. Kitchen was well equipped and the beds were comfortable. Great place to stay with kids with lots of books and toys for them to play with. Short walk to town and nature - we spotted a kangaroo on the front lawn after coming back from dinner. House was very cold when we arrived, the AC in the living room was not able to heat up the bedrooms and kitchen/dining area. Sliding doors were stylish but not very practical with sleeping kids (not sound proof or light proof)
- Kelly (8/5): Great value, exceptionally clean and fantastic location - Very clean and comfortable beds and walking distance to the town centre. affordable accommodation and well equipped kitchen Only a little noisy but honestly very minor
- Michelle (9/5): -
- Amanda S (7/5): - Location and view. The bed was comfortable and the place was nicely set out. Lack of cleaning in obvious places but that's the only negative
- Sarah (10/5): This holiday house exceeded our expectations! Warm, comfortable and convenient to Halls Gap shops. Arrived to a very cle - Location, comfort and cleanliness Nothing

- Susanne (8/5): Highly recommend - Walkable distance to town. Facilities good. Frying pan
- Karrinna (10/5): Beautiful part of the world, close to lots of adventure! Will definitely recommend this holiday home. - Lovely little place, close to the night life. Liked it all
- Scarlet (8/5): -
- HELEN (8/5): Comfortable and clean - Location was lovely and the house was very clean Might need more cooling or heating in the bedrooms if we went in the heart of summer/winter.. the system in the living room wouldn’t be sufficient I don’t think.
- MICK (10/5): - Fire pit in backyard. Great location full kitchen.
- mananandhar (8/5): - Like the room for kids. Sliding doors of rooms, its not properly fitted.
When you slide to close ,its sides and make room open.
- Ellen (10/5): - Amazing location, cozy house and very clean. Would recommend!
- Lisa (10/5): Weekend away - Beautiful renovated property, convenient to walk to town. Would happily stay again. Comfortable beds and great fire.
- Steven (7/5): We enjoyed our stay and were comfortable at the property for the most part. - Great location between the mountains close to village. Clearly a holiday rental, minimalist, no where to hang clothes in bathrooms or bedrooms. Frying pan needs replacing, food grater would be handy too, not much thought went into placement of obstructing range hood and unreachable bathroom sink
- Suzaan (8/5): -
- Conor (9/5): Really smooth and excellent stay, great location and lots of room -
- Aaron (9/5): Great house with views - House was great, modern upgrades to the house which were good. Beautiful views of the mountains from the back porch. Easy 20-25 minute walk into town. Would definitely recommend and stay here again Nothing
- Indravadan (9/5): Superb -
- Dianne (9/5): Superb - Love the view from back door
House has a good layout, and nice feel to it Mattress is bit firm for us 😉
- Erica (10/5): Halls Gap Gem - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It had everything we needed and is just a short walk to the town centre and some amazing trails. The fireplace was a highlight, and the beautiful views surrounding the property made our stay even more special. We visit the Grampians semi-regularly and would definitely choose to stay here again.
- Sharon (8/5): Great location, easy walking to shops and restaurants Spacious and comfortable with a wood heater as well as reverse -
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional - Superb accommodation, very clean with all facilities, recommend, wish I had booked for longer, superb location 10 minute walk to town centre and an ideal location for loads of walks
- Harry (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely clean house, well set up. Plush towels. Great location. Loved sitting on the back deck with the view of the hills and wildlife.
- Varun (6/5): Pleasant stay 6.5/10 - Great location and good facilities with wifi. Proximity to lots of places with air con only in lounge only. It was a pleasant stay for a family of 5 and a newborn. Check in and out timings arent flexible and it is next to a main road. So you do hear traffic if sleeping in bigger bed room as thats only room close to air con.
- Mo (8/5): Very good -
- Adriano (8/5): Great! - A little let down that the skylight in the bathroon was dirty and full of cobwebs
- Dara (10/5): The host is helpful with clear instructions. Our stay was amazing and we got all we needed. Will stay again next time. C - Clean, tidy, homely, well decorated, very close to the main town. nothing. :)
- Sarah (9/5): A great family stay! - Our family had a lovely stay at this property . Very close to everything in Halls Gap. The home was comfortable & the wood fire perfect for a cold, Spring weekend! The host was very responsive when we needed to contact him about a small (unforeseeable & unavoidable) issue we had. A great place for a family to stay in the Grampians. No complaints- thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
- Kathy (10/5): Exceptional - It had great views of the Grampians from the front and back, we loved that kids had been thought of with games ready for them to play, we loved having the fireplace available with wood ready to go!!
- Jessica (1/5): A polished turd - The house was nicely renovated but unfortunately thats where it ends The house was not clean. The sheets had pubic hairs on them and creased where ones bum would be. Nothing in the kitchen was clean, one bench still had chocolate spread on it from the previous tenants with a choping block covering it to hide it. The shower head was threaded and wouldn't stand up, had to physically hold it up so my kids could shower. MOLD in the window seal of the main bedroom and I don't think anythings was dusted in a long time, we had to share beds with our kids for the one night we eneded up staying as we all have health concerns that can be affected by mold. The house is FREEZING even with heaters running. And when we contacted owner regarding issues we never got any apology or offered any refunds, it was only when we threatened to show consumer affairs with the images we had taken the owner instantly offered a FULL refund still with no apology. The clearners only clean what you can see and we're still there at 3pm when we arrived for check-in. I'm not one to complain but for the price it is totally not worth it. I truly hope the owner/clearners have picked up their game with this property as it has so much potential to be a great holiday house.
- Tim (9/5): Superb -
- Bridie (10/5): Exceptional - So cozy with everything you need. Surrounded by great views.
- Carol (8/5): Had a lovely break - Perfect spot, in walking distance to town
- Mackenzie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Siew (9/5): Over all had a good stay. - Great location. Good wifi, Netflix and easy access with door code. Will be better if room has wardrobe or rod hangers.
- Maria (8/5): very good but could be better. - It was a nice, clean and comfortable place. Probable will improve if facility has a coat/jacket hunger, needs another heating/cooling system in the kitchen back bedrooms and would be great including a dishwasher. Front glass door needs a blinds feel exposed at nigh. Finally shared drive requires maintenance adding gravel or something as it is quite uneven.
- Lye (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dianne (8/5): Thanks Shane, we had a lovely stay. House contains all that is needed - Location was perfect, view on either side stunning It was cold! Maybe electric blankets would be help ;)
- Shinin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elizabeth (8/5): A great spot we had fun. Location Location Location - clean and neat no dish washer
- Hemalata (6/5): It was a warm and cozy place very inviting however few things if they take into consideration it can be a very amazing s - The location was nice
The appliances and beds were good 1. There was no locks
2. There was only 1 washroom for a 3 bedroom house
3. There was no cupboards
4. There was no dishwasher especially when the expectation was to clean and dry the utensils
5. There were minor items missing like peeler, butter paper, hand gloves for baking purposes
6. There was only one heater in the main hall
- Angela (7/5): Good -
- Graemme (9/5): Nice stay in good location - We liked the deck with mountain view. Good location. Needs Electric blankets.
- Fran (10/5): Cosy modern cottage - All the amenities were available… firewood for the fire… fully functioning smart tv, bbq, washing machine and built in dryer, large kitchen… hot shower… very well located… reclining chair near fire…although on a main road… not noisy..,would need a car to get around… split system that warmed up and cooled house quickly…
Beautiful views of the mountains… and plenty of wildlife around
- Nuala (8/5): Relaxing stay in a fantastic location. - Property was clean and comfortable in a great location with a wonderful view from the rear deck. Really nice to be joined for breakfast on the rear deck by the local Cockatoos. Nothing, happy with everything.
- Georgie (10/5): Fantastic definitely will come back - The location was great, all the beds were the best that we have had so far on our 2 week trip. The fire was the best as most of the time you won’t get one. Everything was clean and comfortable. That we had to leave too soon
- Jason (7/5): Good - A very nice modern cabin in a beautiful, scenic location. Great amenities, including a wood fire, BBQ and even some toys and books for the kids. The only negatives were very firm mattresses, and another cabin behind the property, which somewhat obstructed the beautiful views.
- Nina (8/5): Loved it, would stay here again. - Very comfortable beds, thick fluffy towels, great location, well equipped kitchen, washer/dryer combo for guest use, fireplace indoors and fire pit outdoors, Dyson stick vacuum Just little things- my family don't like strong smells, so we did not like the reed diffusers in 2 rooms. Bathroom could have been cleaner. Dust container of vacuum was very full.
- Serge (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (10/5): Perfect, perfect. Perfect perfect. - It was modern fresh beautiful views and very, very comfortable.
- Carmel (8/5): Comfortable stay in a good location. - Location was really good. It was a short walk to the centre of Hall's Gap but away from the very busy area in December.
Comfortable furniture and the aircon was useful and effective.
Good guest information book.
Everything inside seemed freshly done.
Good security with the entrance system.
Overall we were very happy with the property. A few things were not quite as clean as they might be but nothing major.
- Suresh (9/5): Superb - The location was convenient my two grandchildren loved the view of the mountains There was no negatives to speak of
- Vanessa (9/5): Holiday house was a great place to stay for an enjoyable weekend in Halls Gap. Would thoroughly recommend - Great holiday house - modern interior , very nicely furnished. Great kitchen and lounge space to relax. Plenty of beds to spread family out. Netflix on TV meant a wet day could be spend viewing a shared show at location. Nothing , it was great
- Gregory (8/5): Very good -
- Au (7/5): Good base for families at halls gap. Pleasant stay. - Cute 3BR house in halls gap. Short drive to main shops or easy walk. Spotless and recently renovated. Good electronic communication. Easy access. Reverse aircon great as house was very hot on arrival. Cools the main bedroom n lounge quickly. The one bathroom spotless. Nice touch w bottle of wine. Outdoor area great w excellent bbq. Resident kookaburra always on lookout for scraps. Did not use washing machine but looked very new. Coonara looked inviting w plenty of wood supplied.
Good place for a family w kids. Kitchen facilities ok but no dishwasher, no salad bowl or salad utensils, no water jug, only a scourer and no sponge. Small 200ml milk bottle was not really enough for a single cup of tea for 6. A box of tissues and paper towels would have been nice.
The toilet n shower are in same room. You have to walk through bathroom/laundry area to get to toilet/shower.
2nd n 3rd bedrooms small. Nowhere to hang anything in bedrooms especially since only a single towel rack to hang towels in bathroom.
The bedroom barn doors were noisy especially in middle of night. The bunk room door did not stay closed. Had to keep it shut w shoe.
- Alejandro (8/5): Very good - Quite , close to town and all amenities
- Nida (9/5): Superb - Location of the house was very close to the main halls gap restaurants. Beds were comfortable. Great speed internet. All amenities worked fine. Backyard with views. Self check in was very convenient with the code. No paper towels, tissue boxes, extra garbage bags and a scourer for dish washing. It would be handy to have these in the house for a perfect experience.
- Julie (6/5): Clean & neat - The holiday home's kitchen was good and well stocked with everything you need to cook. The house was very clean and well set out. Remodelled space but the sofas could do with an update, as not very comfortable. Although the house is updated not sure if insulated as its temperature fluctuates, very warm when the sun is shining and very cold in the evenings so you may need to use the air con/heater. Also It wasn't obvious from the photos that the building is on a shared block, not that we had any problems with neighbours, it just wasn't as private as we had expected, ie; decking faces neighbour's yards. It may also be useful to know there are no wardrobes or hanging spaces in the bedrooms.
- Mark (9/5): Wonderful stay in a very comfortable house. Good location, good quality. Good wifi and streaming. - Great location from which to explore the Grampains. Comfortable nicely appointed home, thoughtful host, great kitchen, good linen, good TV/wifi/streaming, cozy fire and heater. Great for families. I appreaciate the pump dispensor foaming hand wash in the kitchen and bathroom. A bit more storage for luggage/clothes would be ideal.
A couple of minor points that could make positive impact: I couldnt find any replacement bin liner, and the lack of replacement meant that we needed to tip the contents of the inside-bin into outside-bin in order to retain the only bin liner, which was a bit messy and gross- and easily avoidable if replacement bin liners were avaliable. Only 2 matchs to light the fire over a four night stay.
- Alanna (8/5): Very good -
- Ivonne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bernadette (9/5): Superb - Clean. Great location. Quiet
- Luis (8/5): Great facilities, cosy accommodation and ambience - Great location, cozzy place. It was too cold inside the rooms, the central heater was on all night but the rooms were really cold even with the doors open.
The doors are cool but they don't isolate the noise, we had trouble making our 1 year old and 9 months old sleep with talking outside.
The doors are also a hazard for children, they pull it outwards and on they way back, the doors hit the children or catch their hands against the wall.
- Jo (10/5): Very happy with stay overall would rebook if returning to area - Location was very central. Quiet, easy to get to and easy to get to everywhere we needed to go.
- Anna (10/5): Cosy stay in Halls Gap, great base for day hikes in The Grampians - Cosy, clean house within walking distance to all the amenities, cafes, bars and walks around Halls Gap. Wonderful log fire and comfortable beds. Clean and tidy and had some lovely visitors in the garden each morning (kangaroos). Good communication from host for an easy stay. Very reasonably priced too, I would return and I would recommend this house to others. Everything was great however perhaps a heater in the back bedrooms for winter could make the back of the house even cosier for those who feel the cold otherwise everything was perfect
- Caroline (8/5): Very good -
- Stephen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pushpdeep (9/5): Superb -
- Kieran (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bradley (7/5): Great - My kids (toddlers) can open front door easily run out side
- Janine (8/5): cosy getaway with clean, renovated interior - newly renovated and clean, open fire, walking distance to town. no bedside lamps, no views to open plains-set in front of another house which I didn’t realise. no electric blankets
- Kate (10/5): Great family holiday - Great location. Well equipped kitchen.
Clean.
Loved the wood fire 🔥 inside and deck outside.
Comfortable beds.
- Neil (10/5): Great location - clean - new - everything works - Thanks - Only a suggestion - bedside reading lamps
- David (10/5): Awesome house and facilities. Loved the fire!😀 Beautiful location. -
- Jerome (9/5): Comfortable house - Great location on Grampians road not to far from center. comfortable house with all equipped kitchen.
- Colin (8/5): Would be happy to stay there again. -
- Roger (10/5): Relaxing 2 days in the company of cockatoos and kookaburras. - Great location, close to the centre of Halls Gap, but quiet. Loads of bird life. Modern fit out, very clean and tidy. Exceeded expectation.
- Michael (9/5): Aside from the cooking issue the stay at the house was wonderful. - The location was wonderful, quiet area and the house was spacious, had all the facilities that we required and they were modern. Even though we didn't use the wood fire it gives character to the house. The cooking facilities (oven & cooktop) didn't work to our exceptions. Because of the weather we couldn't use the BBQ when we had planned, so we used the frying pan on the cooktop which took around an hour to cook a dozen sausages. The oven even though it was hot, took a couple of hours to cook a potato bake.
- Ben (10/5): Awesome stay. Can’t wait to -
- Anonymous (10/5): Enjoyable and comfortable - Very clean and comfortable. Everything was provided. Enjoyed our stay. Nothing. Everything was good
- Danuka (9/5): It was a wonderful and comfortable stay! - The place was clean and tidy Would have been good if there is a dish washer and some basic commodities e.g. salt & paper
- Purna (9/5): Superb -
- Karin (9/5): Superb - Beautiful house with everything you need. No mosquito nets on the bedroom windows.
