- Steven (5/5): Poor initial impressions, compounded by very poor and then non existent communications led us to minimise our time actua - The property itself was absolutely fine. It was clean, basic but had everything we needed. On arrival workmen were working in the front & rear garden areas cutting back what I can only imagine had been very overgrown grass.
As such we couldn't make use of either garden area during our whole stay. The workmen continued working (or sitting on the picnic table) until after 9:30pm which was totally unacceptable. They then left both areas strewn with grass cuttings lying around and one empty Cider can... communication from the 'host' was very very poor and in fact we had no contact with them after our initial conversations on the 1st night. Which I found totally unacceptable.
- David (7/5): Good - This is a spacious property in a quiet residential area and suited our needs as a base for travelling into London. The train station is a 10 minute walk from the property so it is in a convenient location with regular trains to Victoria and London Bridge. The security deposit was returned promptly. There were a few things broken on our arrival including the kettle lid and the shower door. We had trouble accessing the WiFi password and could not work the television. Despite emailing via booking.com we did not receive a reply during our stay. We found ways around it but it was disappointing not to have these acknowledged or addressed by the host.
