Guest Reviews
- Alison (8/5): it was ok for our purposes - the hot tub was great and the kid's bedroom bunkbed was excellent It was a bit dangerous out the back of the house and the hot tub steps at night were slippery and dangerous. the kitchen was small and the equipment was fine; the decor was quirky and a bit fussy. the other 2 bedrooms were small but comfy
- supatta (1/5): - House is full of cockroach also in shampoo my kids been using it many of dead cockroach , house is not clean very dirty. Not recommend for anyone with kids. They’re scared of cockroach everywhere. Jacuzzi will be fix by 27th march when we there still nothing fix. Very disappointed for money we paid
- Khendo (5/5): Change in advertising statement with a fact information - It was easily accessible and relaxing around tv room. It was very old house, not well ventilated room, tab leaking, no bath tup, old kitchen, sliding room doors are dangling, facilitating are clinging to life, no noise after 10, Jacuzzi wasn’t working as it was most highlighted thing in advertisement, owner sent message as we left house for holiday.. non refundable so managed to pass two
Nights..
- Robertson (9/5): A lovely home to stay overnight with family. The kids enjoyed it and said it was like a dream - The decorations and facilities Nothing, it was all good
- Gary (6/5): - Good for our overnight stay , pet friendly, clean inside house. housed 4 adults a teen and a baby. Not many power points in bedrooms, things run off power boards and extension leads.
- Andrea (1/5): Crap - Disaster and Health Code Violation
Stayed Christmas night at this location not only did it ruin my Christmas night. I also came away feeling sick. Start by saying the kids beds that were labeled ‘harder’ than usual for the kids. No!It wasn’t harder than usual! It was a rock and the kids couldn’t sleep on them. The Bathroom wasn’t cleaned there was hair in the shower and urine stains on the toilet. The ‘do not wear shoes inside rule’ turned our sock black as it was never moped properly, the cutlery and glasses were dirty so we refused to use them, the aircon has never had a filter clean and as there were people staying that have cat allergies they flared up upon turning the unit on.
As for the hot tub, the heater was broken and not heating properly. So to keep the wind off of us in the hot tub we tried to put down the blinds which we found to be melted shut so that couldn’t be done as an alternative. Lastly the neighbours or the cleaner who actually lives on site ( not disclosed earlier) had a whinge for the hot tub being on past 10 even without any music etc going. This hot tub is supposedly an attraction of the site and even on Christmas night was told the jets were too loud and quiet time was from 10pm - 8am even though council allow noise on public holidays until 12.
After all this they had the audacity to take triple the standard fee due to it being Christmas but no effort other than a tree was put in.
In conclusion. Wouldn’t recommend staying here save your money and go literally anywhere else.

- Susan (6/5): Very good last minute accommodation with unusual decor - Clean and beds were comfortable It was cold in main living area with no heating there. Air-conditioning was in the room with the huge pool table and uncomfortable benches/chairs.
- simone (5/5): - Really cool accomdation. Very fun! It looked like it may not have been cleaned between stays, we were comfortable but there was a few things that were left from the previous stay
- Dave (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gael (4/5): Disappointing -
- Sharon (4/5): Would not stay again - Good location as we were going to a concert at the racecourse Decor was bizarre. Table was set for Xmas dinner in March & lots of Easter bunnies scattered around. The beds were uncomfortable & bed linen was suspect & looked very old & dated. No milk or sugar for us to have a cuppa in arrival although there were tea bags.
- Amber (8/5): Very good -
- Jon (6/5): Pleasant stay, but could use more fans and bunk beds are only suitable for small children - Spa was great
Would be great for a stag do
Close to train station
Good communication, and easy key collection
Car port Bedrooms didn’t have fans, were very hot overnight- had to have doors open.
Bunk bed room had child bunk beds, could not take adult weight. One had to sleep on sofa
One of double bedrooms was middle of house and had no outfacing windows
Pillows were extremely soft
- Craig (8/5): Very good -
- May (5/5): Passable -
- Joanne (2/5): Very poor - The only saving grace for my experience at this home was the pool table. Unfortunately we have to advise our experience was horrible from the moment we arrived until we left.
First the home is falsely advertised saying a spa, bath and hot tub are on sight. FALSE, only a hot tub is on site. No bath or spa has ever been in this home. As you will see with my screenshot of the home advertised on your website and the booking I made, showing that the home has all 3 features, however the home does not! Faulty advertising which is illegal!!
2nd ZERO confirmation was forwarded to us on how to enter the property on arrival. We had to follow this up with the owner on arrival.
3rd upon arrival we are informed residents live on site, this is not disclosed anywhere prior. My personal preference, I would never book a premises that has a resident living on site.
4th the power constantly went out, causing the customer to constantly have to fix the electrical fault of the property. Once our food and drinks had soured from NO POWER, we had no option but to leave the premises and book a motel for the rest of our holiday. Very disappointing!
5th Parcel Deliveries arriving for the home owner during our stay, which I had to sign for.
6th Jaccuzi is located 2 feet away from onsite residents door, whom leave the curtains closed the whole time of your stay. A privacy screen installed to block the view from guests to residents would be a good idea for the owner to implement.
Air Bnb Policy – white towels need to be provided and working power. Neither were provided at this property.
This is the worst experience I have ever experienced, and I always book on booking.com.
I feel I should be compensated in a refund within 7 days, as the property is falsely advertised and the home has no power.
- Steven (8/5): Very good -
- Nai (9/5): Superb -
- Jessica (8/5): Very good - The set up of the place, the jacuzzi was really nice and the host was kind enough to put it on ahead of our visit. The Christmas touch was nice. The host was very accommodating and helpful as well as good with communication. The beds in the kids bunk room were very hard, the kids weren't comfortable so we had to pop the topper to make it OK for them to sleep. The TV area gets very warm on hot days (no aircon or fan and open) and we didn't realise the host stayed on site near the jacuzzi, which made us feel awkward about using the jacuzzi at night. Could of used some more coffee mugs for everyone. These are minor and some just would have been good to know ahead of time.
- Jean (8/5): Hard to rate this property fairly as it is old but the owners have done a great job inside trying to make it fun and com - Close to the highway for our road trip.
Quirky and obviously the owners have tried to make it a fun place.
Great we could take our dog
The kids loved the bedroom with the slide
Parking was great for our two cars Unfortunately it was raining really bad and the property had leaks , which were managed by the owners with buckets well positioned but it definitely had a damp feeling , not really anything anyone can do about the weather though.
Not enough mugs in the kitchen.
Towels could be better
- Valerie (8/5): Very pleasant - It was pet friendly which was important to us There’s railway line at the back of the property however the bedrooms were at front and we didn’t hear the trains at night.
