Guest Reviews
- Adrian (7/5): Good - The rooms were clean ,nice small and the stuff,Gigi was an mvp ,even if we had some misunderstandings about the time of arrival and some else. Overall it was OK because of his good vibe. 1.The fact that the keys from the front door don't really work...
2.The fact that the breakfast included was mostly carbs and nothing for protein besides a 0% yoghurt . We saw photos of eggs and meat and we were like "fair enough" ,but in reality you have lots of carbs as in biscuits ,cereals, some cakes ,candy etc. But not really food for breakfast. That was the major thing that pissed us a lot ,but the Host was to good to get mad about it. Just disappointed.
3.You have to get up to the 7th floor without lift ,that is the easiest thing. You will have to walk a lot on a mini mountain to there :))) have fun and feet of steel my friends.
- Wufan (9/5): good experience - view more toilet tissue
- Emily (10/5): Exceptional - What a beautiful apartment, the view over Vesuvius makes the place worth it in its self. Other than that I was checked in by the owner , who went out of his way to make my stay in Naples the best possible, telling me all the places to go in my short stay.
The apartment was well placed and cleaned daily. Definitely recommend this.
- Wendy (8/5): Very good -
- Rosa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lachezar (9/5): Superb -
- Diletta (10/5): Found the perfect little home in Napoli - Loved the location, safe cute and central, easy to travel to and from city centre, right next to beautiful Chiaia metro station, worth visiting for the arts & architecture of Umberto Siola and Peter Greenway.
The house is lovely and homey, in a quiet area. The rooms are big and clean, the host Gigi takes proud in his plants and the decor collected from all around the world. Gigi goes the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and looked after, he gave us some precious infos about the surroundings and history of Naples. Can’t wait to come back!
- Antonio (10/5): Soggiorno perfetto - Vicino al centro e al lungomare, super Central structure! With two terraces one overlooking the sea and another on the most beautiful castle in Naples. The staff is really kind with Cleaning every day in the room and a rich breakfast. obviously the apartment is in the Spanish quarters. in the beautiful area of the Maradona mural, and the best trattorias in Naples. I hope to return soon thanks Gigi for everything
- Thibault (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karolina (10/5): Positive experience:) - Great location in the historic district, large and light room , optional sweet or salty breakfast to choose , to serve yourself :) , kitchen that you can use it is a great bonus. I would recommend to make sure that you set up check in time as the owner is busy guy, but nice and gave a lot of travel tips 👌not suitable for older as quite many steps before you get to the apartment. In general we enjoyed our stay.
- Natasha (1/5): Terrible property, should not be listed as it needs a lot of work. - Great location in the Latin Quarter. Generous supply of coffee and coffee maker provided. Self-contained room has a small balcony with a view of Mt Vesuvius. Problem with shower hose was fixed promptly by the owner. Couldn't use the kitchen; breakfast items were pre-packaged, cereal stale and fruit was rotting on arrival. Half-used milk in the fridge. Instructions to not use the kitchen sink should have been clearly indicated. Due to the limited ability to wash dishes (using bathroom sink), dishes washed by the maid were not entirely clean, and not dried (water still in bowls when put back in the drawer).
Plumbing problems in the building (not unusual for an old building in this area) meant that the other rooms at the B&B were unusable as the shared bathroom could not be used - it meant my stay was quiet, which I didn't mind. Persistent damp smell throughout the whole property. After a rainy day, water was visibly running down the wall in my room, to the extent that the maid moved the bed away from the wall.
More specific instructions on how to use the old-style key to the door of the accommodation were required. Messages and a phone call resulted in advice to ask a neighbour for help. The four flights of stairs and no elevator should be highlighted in the listing.
Airport pick-up was not ideal and no-one was at the property on arrival, despite me delaying airport pick-up for several hours to accommodate the owner. While the owner was a wealth of knowledge with suggestions about the area (and a useful map), some written instructions or information about recommended sights would be beneficial. I hadn't slept in 26 hours and that was a lot of information to take in verbally.
- Konxhe (9/5): Superb - I was offered a different room than the Vecchia Napoli-Chiaia, which was still very nice, at the heart of the city, 5 mins walking distance from Toledo metro station, attractions and restaurants...the owner was very friendly and gave me plenty of suggestions together with the city's map. If you want to stay downtown and be at a walking distance from everything, this is the right place for you It was a bit loud in the evening since it is supposed to be the liveliest road in the city but once you close the windows and put the shades down, it gets better!
- Zhenya (9/5): Superb - The best was definitely the balcony, where you could enjoy the sun with a beautiful view. Our host gave us a map with good personal tips for our trip. The room had everything necessary. İt is advertised as "breakfast included" and there was food to eat, but things are not labeled as intented for specific guests/rooms, so things like cheese/cold cuts can be finished can be finished by the other guests before you get up.
- Blackwell (9/5): Superb - Excellent location, hospitable host with great recommendations and accomodating for three people. Really flexible with checkin/ checkout which we really appreciated! Would recommend :) N/a
- Silviu (8/5): Very good - The rooms are big and specious, the beds are comfortable and there is a nice view to the port from one corner of the balcony. The hostess was very kind, she made sure we have a nice selection of food items for breakfast, and also gave us a nice overview of places to see and be in Naples. The apartment is in the 4th level of a building, not suitable for everyone. There is no elevator and the climb is more than 100 steps. The washing machine wasn't working and on the last day there was a plumbing problem.
- Aleksi (10/5): Super hosts! Nice location and well equipped. - The staff is SUPER! Most likely the most helpful I’ve seen. Also the location was very good. Quiet and big rooms. Extra plus for a washing machine and a chance to get a salty breakfast (as in many Italian accommodations offer only sweat). You can see the Vesuvio from the balcony. It’s on the 7th floor and there is no elevator so be ready to carry your baggage all the way up there! However, it’s definitely worth it. The locks very a bit tricky but you always get help if you ask.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hunter (10/5): Exceptional stay in the best part of town! - Everything. Wonderful location, very clean and safe space, exceptional views from the balcony, and really a very good breakfast for the price.
The location really is beyond ideal with everything you could need very very close by. We'd definitely stay again. Nothing at all. For the price of the room, this hotel offers a 10/10 experience.
- Ralucamarinescu (10/5): Exceptional - Even if it's located at the seventh floor, the view is totally worth it.
The place is really comfortable and the host is very friendly and helpful. I can't complain of anything :).
- Gintaras (8/5): Very good -
- Noonan (9/5): Superb -
