• Deborah (10/5): Exceeded all our expectations! - Everything about this property was perfect! From the first communication from Felix, the property owner, to the checkout, we were treated like guests, not customers! Felix knew it was my birthday and arranged for us to have a delicious meal at a local restaurant we'd never have heard of without his advice, and he taught us so many interesting facts about the history of the building and the city. The location of the property is stellar--an easy walk to everything you'd want to do, and steps from a wide range of cafes, shops, and restaurants. But if you want to stay in, you have everything you need to cook a meal except the ingredients, which are easily obtained from the nearby butcher, bakery, and Spar market! A true home-away-from-home! The accommodations are also spotlessly clean and so comfortable! The bathroom is spacious and luxuriously appointed with a waterfall shower and plenty of clean fluffy towels! Having washing machine in the unit was also so helpful! That it is on the other side of an ocean and we had to leave. 😭

• Kelly (10/5): A 5 star experience - This apartment is right in the heart of the Old Town and within walking distance to all the attractions, shops and supermarket. You could not get a better location. As for the apartment, it felt like our home for 6 days.. we loved it! It had everything you could possibly need including a washing machine which was perfect, a huge bathroom and a second toilet! Although we didn’t cook, the full kitchen was well stocked and it was nice to have a big couch to sit and watch tv! The bed was extremely comfortable and the linens were beautiful quality and warm. The whole apartment was spotlessly clean. Needless to say we didn’t want to leave!! Felix was so lovely and had lots of information about what to do in Salzburg. A perfect host. Loved everything.

• Götz (10/5): Perfekt - Hervorragende Lage. Mitten in Salzburg. Die Innenstadt, Burg etc. - alles praktisch vor der Haustür. Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel schnell erreichbar. Die erste Ferienwohnung seit 25 Jahren, in der tatsächlich Alles vorhanden war, was wir nutzen und benötigen. Der Gastgeber hat gefühlt an alle Eventualitäten gedacht. Fühlte sich fast wie eine eigenen Zweitwohnung an. 2 sehr geräumige Zimmer, 2 separate Toiletten
• Danielle (10/5): Fantastic Apartment! - This was probably our favorite stay of our trip, its an absolutely beautiful apartment in the PERFECT location - truly close to everything. The apartment itself is very nice - the bathroom is spacious and luxurious, the bedroom is large and the bed is really comfy. Felix was incredible with communication and was very hospitable. The location is right in the middle of the city center and is within walking distance to literally everything. Highly recommend this stay! Loved everything!
• Heidi (10/5): Fabulous place to stay - This is fabulous apartment. Wonderful location in Salzburg altstadt. Very short walk from taxi drop off. Very convenient for catching bus to outlying tourist sights like the salt mine or Hellbrunn. Rathous bus stop (named for old town hall that is no longer there) is right nearby. With the free Salzburgerland travel card (get for free as part of payment of tourist tax) you can just hop on bus or regional trains for free. Felix is an outstanding host. Apartment is even better in person vs pictures. Felix has lots of nice extras in the apartment to welcome you to Salzburg. Everything was perfect.

The purpose of our stay in Salzburg was a music festival - all the necessary locations were within 5-10 minutes walk. convenient for long-term stays, the apartments are equipped with everything necessary for this - a washing machine, a comfortable and large kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, etc.

• Jessica (10/5): The only place to stay in Salzburg! - This was, hands down, our favorite place during a two week trip around Austria. As a family of four, the apartment was spacious, beautiful, and in the perfect location. The owner, Felix, went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. Chocolates and beer were left in the room (which were the perfect treat after a hot day in Salzburg), and Felix included a plethora of information ranging from restaurants, markets, and medical care (in case of an emergency). Salzburg was warm, but there were two large fans that circulated the air, and opening the windows provided a lovely breeze. We loved listening to the lively conversations outside, and the view of the cathedral was beautiful. Also, it was nice to do a few loads of laundry. I was worried that it would be difficult to dry our clothes, but the apartment had a large drying rack that worked perfectly. And if you’re picky about your shower, this is the place to stay because the rain shower was glorious. Whenever I had a question, Felix answered my emails almost immediately. If you’re uncertain where to stay in Salzburg, don’t hesitate to book this apartment! You won’t be disappointed!! Nothing—we loved absolutely everything!

All amenities and things you would expect to make your stay feel like being at home are here. Right in the middle of it all so you need not worry about long walks to and from the center of town and going home (a huge plus for family trips). The host was the cherry on top, always attentive and super friendly, like a good neighbour you want to live next door to. Will come again, cheers!
• Alex (10/5): Perfect apartment- clean, roomy and quiet in heart of old town. - This property is superb. My wife and I and our 2 children (aged 9 & 11) are from Australia and stayed in this apartment for 5 nights. The property is spotlessly clean, whisper quiet, and right in the heart of the old town. Having travelled extensively, I can say this was one of the best, if not the best apartment, we have ever stayed in. Although it is expensive, the reality is that you get what you pay for - and this apartment did not disappoint in any way. The host clearly know what people want - the beds are comfortable, and there were many little extras that made our stay lovely. Things like enough dishwasher/ washing machine pods, plenty of toilet paper, a few dozen coffee pods for the coffee machine, tea towels, plenty of dishwashing liquid, new sponges for the kitchen, olive oil, plenty of kitchen equipment etc…. All these things are small, but so annoying when not provided in apartments. So this apartment was perfect. The host (Felix) lives in the same building and is lovely. We never saw him except at the start, so he stays out of your way unless you need him. When you send him a message to ask him a question, he responds quickly (eg for restaurant tips / activities to do). I would highly recommend this property. Just a word of warning - supermarkets are generally closed on Sundays in Austria so if you arrive on a Sunday, perhaps buy provisions the day before.

The apartment was large, modern, and well stocked with supplies. Plenty of room for a family of 4. It was easy to get in and out. We went in the summer, but it would probably be great for the Christmas markets. Lots of great places to eat nearby. Good communication. The host checked in with us to make sure everything was ok. This might be our new standard for rental properties. Nothing, really. We know this is something the host is working on, but A/C would be nice. (Things in old historic buildings don't happen over night.) Not really so much for the temperature when we were there. The cool summer evenings made it comfortable to sleep with the windows open. It would keep out the smoke from the late evening restaurant goers outside. Certainly not something that would keep us from staying there again, but we noticed it a few times in the week we stayed in the apartment.

The property is just at the entrance of the lovely old town, taxi is nearly able to get, just need a 50 meters walk Even though the apartment is 650 years old(told by the host), there is lift and very modern, spacious, very well facilitated inside. The property is super clean, very comfortable bed; very well facilitated kitchen. Felix, the host is very friendly, he offered lots of valuable advise and he is always ready to answer any questions! Some times it is a bit hot, at least there are two Dyson electronic fans. If you don't mind some kind of the noise, just open the window, it makes room cooler quickly
• Kathryn (10/5): Amazing apartment in an amazing location. We didn’t want to leave. - We really enjoyed our stay here. The host communicated well and was friendly and helpful. The apartment was beautiful with everything needed for a comfortable stay, including Nespresso pods, dishwasher tablets and washing machine detergent. There isn’t a tumble dryer but a large clothes airer is provided and there is loads of space in the huge bathroom to get the washing dry. The apartment was spotlessly clean and quiet and the beds and bedding were very comfortable. The weather was hot during our visit but the apartment stayed quite cool as it is shaded from the sun and there are fans in each room. The location was unbeatable. Down a narrow lane in the heart of the old town and only a few minutes walk from most of the main sights, shops and restaurants. The bus stops are nearby for easy access to the main station and sights that are a bit further away. Day tickets for the transport system are cheap and a great option for getting around. As well as exploring the city itself, we also visited St Wolfgang in the Salzburg Lake District and the ice caves at Werfen, both easy to get to using public transport. I would highly recommend this property and would return again if I was visiting Salzburg. Nothing - everything was great.

Bus stop of 840 to Königssee, Germany is just a few minutes walk from the apartment. Felix the host is very helpful and responsive. In all my travels this apartment is the best. You cannot beat the location. The Christmas market was at our doorstep and the bedroom has a view of the Salzburg Cathedral. Felix is an amazing host and there was nothing that we lacked. Sleeping on the bed was like sleeping on a cloud! Very comfortable. Felix had left a bottle of champagne and and some chocolates with a welcome note for our arrival. We had bottled water and beer in the fridge along with ample tea and coffee. The door codes make it so easy for any family member to come and go. I would HIGHLY recommend staying here if you are in Salzburg. It will be the highlight of your trip. Thank you Felix! Nothing!!! We stayed comfortably with our family of 5 (3 grown children). The place is so nice and well furnished, and there is even a washer inside. It had all the necessary amenities, including a lovely hairdryer. Felix was incredibly helpful and accommodating and we were able to check in early on a whim when our train got in sooner than we thought. I can not recommend this enough!!! We adored our time there! Nothing- perfect in every way!!
