Guest Reviews
- Nicholas (5/5): Has all the pieces of a nice place but poor delivery. - Great view, really comfortable bed and had everything you needed despite the small space. The grounds around were a part construction site, part something out of Deliverance. The rusted car nearby topped off the look. Lots of hairs left over from previous guest(s) on the bed, towels.
- Michael (9/5): Amazing couple of nights spent in such a peaceful location! All amenities were great, the complimentary breakfast basket - Everything was really good and we enjoyed ourselves! The serenity was so nice and all amenities worked with no issues. The only downside was access to the property. It was quite challenging to go up and down the drive way without scratching my car. I would recommend providing specific details of the un-even terrain & challenges to accessing the property BEFORE guests make their booking.
- Jaimee (7/5): Nice scenery and location. - The scenery and location was great, close to wineries and main town.
The bed and amenities were clean and organised.
The tiny home was sustainable and had an interesting detailed folder about it. The steep hill to get to the tiny home was not described in enough detail in the ad, there were pot holes and it’s only one way, it could use fixing up and also a parking space at the bottom of the hill for people who aren’t comfortable to drive up.
The gas bottle wasn’t turned on which we didn’t realise until we were leaving, so we had cold showers. Our fault for not asking the owner earlier but we didn’t realise until before check out.
There was hair in the bottle of the shower when we arrived.
- Isabelle (7/5): Good - Was a lovely bonus to receive the breakfast basket on our stay. The house itself was lovely and cozy. Only downside was the driveway to reach the house - it was very steep, rocky and slippery, which my small manual car really struggled with. I felt I almost needed a 4WD.
- Georgia (8/5): The location was great for a wedding we had down the road. The kitchen was stocked with everything you’d need, and the b - It was great to have a heater! The shower was also above expectations. Nothing - the place was fantastic
- Macek (10/5): Exceptional -
- Quinn (7/5): Simple tiny house in a great spot - Great location. Nice outdoor chairs to enjoy the stars. Not particularly clean. Dusty under the bed, hair in bathroom, dirt on shelves. Only unfiltered rain water, so bring your own.
- Lee (8/5): Very good -
- Barry (7/5): Nice experience away from it all, yet close enough! - Just wanted the experience Toilet system and disposal of grey water
- Adrian (10/5): Peace and quiet in nature - Although the slope up onto the tiny house was steep, the view and scenery makes it all worthwhile. The tiny house was clean and has everything we need for the night. Towels, bath amenities and even cooking utensils are provided to make the night comfortable. More importantly, the view from the tiny house was great. It was easy to sit out at the deck and enjoy few hours of peace and quiet in nature. We even had a couple of kangaroos visiting us during dinner and in the morning!
- Glenn (7/5): Great place to stay if you are looking for a quiet getaway. - The view was magnificent, particularly in the morning. It was serene and tranquil, with no city lights or noise to disturb you. Accessing the location via the dirt road was straightforward. The hot water service was very finicky due to the low water pressure of the system. It was either too hot or way too cold. As you increased the cold water, less flow came from the hot water, which in turn activated low flow switch and turned off the hot water heater.
- Amandi (10/5): Exceptional stay, amazing views and beautiful and generous host - Everything Nothing
- Iñigo (10/5): Exceptional - Great location for a romantic scape, so intimate and close to vinyards The access to the place is a bit tricki, a big sign in the road would help a lot
- Karren (10/5): Beautiful relaxing stay in a serene natural environment with a stunning view of the valley - The scenery was beautiful and the bed very comfortable The compost toilet was a little smelly and at first hard to figure out how to flush it
- Emily (10/5): Best getaway ever - Gorgeous location and the host were amazing and so accommodating.
