• Susanne (7/5): - Das Townhouse war relativ geräumig und sauber. Die Küche war gut mit allen nötigen Kochutensilien ausgestattet. Das Haus lag in einer kleinen, ruhigen Straße in einem abgeschlossenen Bereich mit einem Parkplatz am Haus. Um die Ecke waren ein Supermarkt, der bis 23 Uhr geöffnet hatte, mehrere Imbisse sowie eine Bushaltestelle und die Underground Station "Stepney Green". Von hier aus waren es nur 3 Stationen bis Tower Hill. Auch alle anderen Highlights waren gut zu erreichen. Die Schlüsselübergabe fand in einem kleinen Supermarkt ca. 10 Min. von der Unterkunft entfernt statt und verlief reibungslos. Die Betreuung des Anbieters vor und während des Aufenthalts über E-mail und What´s App war gut. Das Haus benötigt im Großen und Ganzen eine Auffrischung bzw. Generalüberholung. Die Matratzen im Schlafzimmer waren ziemlich durchgelegen, das Kopfteil fiel immer runter, da es nicht fixiert war, der Schreibtisch fiel fast auseinander, im Bad war Schimmel an der Decke und an den Fugen, der Badezimmerspiegel hatte stumpfe Flecken, die Kühlschranktür muss fixiert werden, der Dunstabzug ging nicht und auch die Möbel auf der Terrasse waren z.T nicht zu benutzen. Außerdem lagen überall Zigarettenkippen rum. Dass das 4. Bett ein Klappbett im Wohnzimmer war, war uns auch nicht bewusst. Es war OK, aber nicht super bequem. Leider gab es auch nur 2 Gabeln für 4 Leute. Für eine Familie mit nur einem Kind oder einem Paar ist es eine prima Unterkunft (nach der nötigen Auffrischung).
• Zulfiya (7/5): Overall, the stay was good, but a few issues made it more stressful than it should have been. - The apartment is in a lovely, quiet neighbourhood just a short walk from Stepney Green station - great location! The flat itself is cosy, spread over two floors, and well-equipped for cooking. We appreciated the thoughtful touches like bottled water, tea, biscuits, and toiletries. We booked this apartment for 4 people, but unfortunately, the sofa bed was not suitable for sleeping. It was extremely squeaky and felt broken, making it impossible to use. We had to put the mattress on the floor to make it work. While the hosts acknowledged the issue when we reported it, it’s not acceptable to advertise 4 sleeping places when one isn’t usable. The key collection process was also inconvenient - we had to walk about 10 minutes from the apartment to pick up the keys, which wasn't clearly mentioned in the listing. Additionally, we were told we’d receive the access pin 2 hours before check-in, but by 23:00 we still hadn’t received anything and had to contact the property via WhatsApp - not ideal when you're travelling without internet. Lastly, be aware that the property reserves a £100 deposit, which is not handled through Booking.com.
