Guest Reviews
- Juliette Herbelin (10/5): Stunning! - Amazing and beautifully decorated cozy little cabin with a stunning view. Comfy bed, well equipped kitchen, delicious breakfast left for us in the mini-fridge, nice bathroom - no hot water in the shower so if you happen to be there on a colder night, prepare to squeak! We didn't mind though. I very much appreciated the delicate attention of the presence of conditioner and a rescue hygienic pad - very thoughtful and demonstrative of the value that is placed on the care of guests!
The highlight is Juan Carlos himself. We went on a bird walk with him in the morning (DO go!): not only is he friendly and kind but also very knowledgeable about birds and knows the area super well, so we saw toucans, a trogon, colibris, jays, ... all of it with stunning views over the San Ramon valley. Awesome! I regret staying only one night. I would have loved to experience the mountains a bit more. It's definitely worth staying longer!
- Rojas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rosana (9/5): A perfect place to withdraw yourself from the busy city life - Campagna Lodge and Trails is a perfect place to be away from the hustle and bustle of tourism. Located in the mountains surrounded by acres of mountain scape to explore, it is the ideal place for hikers. Eladio is a enthusiastic host who was happy to take me on a beautiful walk. He made me a special vegan breakfast and invited us to a little evening trip to watch the sunset but we unfortunately had other plans. Thank you Eladio for your warm welcome and your knowledge about the nature that surrounds your recluse cabin. For my mother who is 73 it was a bit difficult to walk around because the area around is rugged. But I loved this!
