- ChileUp (8/5): - The property was very clean and had everything we needed, especially in the kitchen. We were happy to have a heater as well. Shops and restaurants were nearby, and having a car made it even more convenient, though I think it would still be manageable on foot. The highlight was definitely the massage chair! The bathroom was a bit small. We also didn’t realise there wasn’t a separate bed for our 15-year-old son, but the couch was comfortable for him. The “elevated” corner actually turned into his little hangout space, which worked out well.
- Jill (7/5): Overall we were happy with our stay there. - Own breakfast. Good location once we worked out how to drive into the street and find the accom.. Smart TV, zbke to access tv shows we wishrd to watch in evening. Near restaurants. Very small bathroom. Very few kitchen utensils/ facilities, no additional bags for rubbish bin.

- Kay (8/5): - Washing machine and clothes horse. Comfy and spacious. Big TV. Parking safe area. Great kitchen facilities The batteries in the remote for the fireplace were flat. ( Not that wr needed heating, we were just curious about the electric fake fireplace which is probably lovely when it works)
There was no iron. We had to go to Kmart to buy one. This is a simple fix.
Overall it was a great place to stay.

- Ling (8/5): - Very comfortable bed , nice massage chair Wifi not always stable
- Lily (9/5): - Great location, was a tiny bit hard to find but OK. Clean and well presented, the massage chair was fantastic as we were going and rock climbing during the day, so a perfect way to end the day. The private courtyard and garden was also a very nice touch, well maintained and welcoming. The bathroom is in an awkward location if two adults are staying in different rooms ( one on the sofa) and was terribly small.
- Manuel A (10/5): -
- Barb (7/5): Very pleasant. - Location was within 10-15 mins walk to cafes.
Comfy bed. Wifi was slow for me, so much so that airline bookings and Uber bookings done at the stay were difficult.

- Jane (8/5): Sandy Bay little gem - Great location, comfy, clean. Loved the massage chair. Spacious. Close up the bus stop into Hobart city centre. 6 minute walk away. Perfect Petty, but, the hot water took a long time to reach the shower. Once it did though, it was hot and there was plenty of it.
- Leanne (10/5): - Excellent location, apartment facilities were amazing 👏

- Simon (9/5): Great base for exploring Hobart. Clean and modern 2 room apartments with off St parking. -
- Lee (10/5): Would highly recommend staying at Lords Rest Apartments. The accommodation we chose contributed to an amazing stay in Ho - It was very clean and had a beautiful homely feel to it. Loved everything about the apartment and the location. Also loved the safe lock box, it was simple and easy use Upstairs noise
- Shona (9/5): -
- Rosa (10/5): - Clean, great layout. Massage chair is outstandingly good. Owners are very obliging and happy to provide a detailed receipt. A bit cold. I didn’t realise there was a heater in one of the cupboards. Label on cupboard would help. Or a compendium.
- Louise (10/5): - Quiet and comfortable. The bed was especially comfortable, the gardens were lovely. The massage chair was an unexpected bonus. Perhaps more tea selection?
- X71101 (9/5): Met our needs at a reasonable price - Location reason for staying at this property. Bedroom/bathroom layout.
- Madeleine (8/5): Really pleasant and comfortable little apartment in a great location for Sandy Bay - Location was really good for my purposes, just a short walk to UTAS at Sandy Bay and similar distance to shops and the waterfront. Apartment is neat as a pin, warm and cosy and easy to access. Hosts very responsive when I rang with a query which was easily sorted. Couldn't find a dishcloth or dishtowel. Also would have like to wash a few garments in the washing machine but decided not to because there was no dryer or obvious place to hang washing out to dry.
- Shane (10/5): Clean comfy and great location! - Wonderful clean homey feel. Loved the open fireplace (look). Extremely comfy bed and awesome location.. Had everything you need...even chocolates on arrival which for a sweet tooth like us was greatly appreciated. Absolutely terrific and would stay again!! N/A
- Eden (10/5): Very good spot to stay great location - Close to shops and hotels
- sudish (9/5): -
- Gerald (9/5): A very homely apartment - N/A Lack of storage space in the bedroom. Bathroom needs more shelf space and hooks to hang towels on.
- Mike (8/5): - Location, easy access for our car .
Quiet and comfortable No SBS TV channels
- Ya-Hsin (7/5): - Massage chair. Spacious living room. Noise from the air-conditioning outdoor unit.
- Ben (10/5): Overall a really great location and nice place to stay, just a tad small. - Nice and accessible space The bathroom is very small, definitely not too well spaced especially when sharing with multiple adults - also a hard location having to walk through a bedroom to get to the bathroom. Definitely more suited for couples or “families” - there is also not a door separating the bedroom form the lounge room etc, so privacy between those visiting is non-existent
- Hannah (9/5): Great place for a stay! -
- Tracey (9/5): Wonderful central to Hobart and incredible staff - The setting was incredible Nothing
- Sau Ling (7/5): -
- Qifu (8/5): -
- Sidney (10/5): - Quiet, peaceful, mountain view, very zen.🙏with the best massage chair and massage shower,, any aches and pains soon went far away.
- Steve4012 (9/5): Mature couple for a 10 night stay during winter found this a perfect place to stay - Private driveway with beautifully landscaped gardens led to quiet apartment under main residence via private doorway. Apartment was tastefully decorated with Tassie-style artwork and books. Very large bedroom and living area, with compact kitchen with quality appliances that was sufficient for our 10 night stay. Massage chair was awesome and full sized washing machine beside small 2 door fridge/freezer was great. Furniture and bed very comfortable. Glimpse of Mt Wellington summit from the lounge, full view from the footpath. Change of linen provided halfway through stay. Hosts were very responsive to messages.
Only a short walk (400m, 800m, 1.4km) to a number of bus stops taking us to different locations north and west was perfect for our travel needs. Headroom at toilet insufficient for tall males, and vanity basin very small, but they've done what they could with the space available under the stairwell. Fan noise from the outdoor aircon unit was initially annoying as it ran throughout the night but it became background white noise and actually helped us sleep.
We were out during most of the days so weren't very affected, but there is potential for noise from the primary school right next door to impact anyone in the apartment during the day, plus additional traffic during school dropoff and pickup times.
- Young (10/5): Exceptional - Super comfortable bed and cosy apartment. Really good value. Would stay again 🙂
- Lizzy (3/5): Poor - Location good Wifi was so bad. Better don't use it
And I can hear the footsteps, movement, and even the TV from the upstairs neighbors very clearly. I have to wake up early in the morning, but it’s hard to fall asleep because it’s still noisy even after 10 PM.
- Ciarán (9/5): Superb - Comfort, massage chair. Cooking and clothes washing in the apartment was very useful. Privacy good despite being beside owner's house. Nice quiet area not too far from Hobart downtown. Occasionally could hear noises from the main house through walls.
- Eric (8/5): Very good - The massage chairs are very comfortable If there is no driving , the location is not good
- Nagaraj (9/5): Superb - Nice and clean. Family friendly. Nothing as such. Maybe they could have topped up coffee and body wash
- Tania (9/5): Wonderful stay in Hobart - Very comfortable apartment with well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and ample space in the sitting/dining area. We loved the massage chair which was great after a day of walking. It is just a short drive to Salamanca market and the CBD and the apartment had its own parking spot. We made breakfast here every morning and found the kitchen great, really well equipped. The bathroom has quite a small basin but we used the kitchen sink instead if needed, so not really a problem.
- Diana (10/5): great place to stay -
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderfully clean and comfortable. Walking distance to Hobart, great food and coffee. Kindly provided fresh towels and supplies halfway between our 8 day stay. Would happily stay again.
- 德枏 (10/5): Exceptional -
- Angela (9/5): Superb - Location was excellent with a nice garden outlook, and close to the city. We didn't use public transport but it was very close by.
The unit was very comfortably set up and we had everything we needed. The owner Carolyn was very helpful. My only complaint ( being a fresh air fanatic) was that none of the windows in the bedroom seemed to open, and we didn't like to leave the door into the garden open. So I got rather hot at night.
- J (9/5): Perfect place to stay in - The apartment had everything I needed and was very spacious. No complaints
- Lazaros (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kim (9/5): Great apartment for a few days stay in Hobart - Nice and cozy apartment, very roomy, comfy bed, casting to smart tv, massage chair a bonus.
- Johnhuknz (8/5): Very good - Paul found us some ground coffee when we bought beans by mistake, and he was very helpful generally. Fortunately it wasn't too cold, because the electric fire did not work and the replacement fan heater was too noisy to use.
- Lorna (8/5): Very good -
- Muhamad (9/5): Nice apartment .Value for money - Great location. Easy to city and amenities. Neighbour next to apartments talking and laughing loudly at night after 10 pm. Could hear their conversation and laughter
- Terri (9/5): Superb -
- Khanh (9/5): Superb -
- Jodep73 (9/5): Lovely 😍 - We loved the accommodation, the inclusions and the location! Bonus that on a clear day the tip of Mt Wellington could be seen from the lounge AND Bruce, the dog from the upstairs accommodation came down for a visit It would have been perfect if there was a laundry available:)
- Maree (8/5): Great value for money and a great massage chair as well! - The property was in a great location for what we needed. The pillows were all different. I couldn’t find a comfy one but hubby did. I never find a good pillow anyway even at home!
- Beverley (9/5): A quiet and restful place to relax and recoup for each day’s touring’ - The accommodation was tastefully and immaculately decorated. The living room and lounge room were a lovely big size. Lovely big windows in the bedroom. So quiet in Lord St. And we could see the tip of Mt Wellington from the living room. The bathroom was pokey, but OK.
- Ryan (9/5): Superb -
- Angela (10/5): Comfortable and clean - Lovely and comfortable place close to everything. Very quiet at night.
- Rajesh (8/5): Very good -
- Miki (7/5): Good -
- George (9/5): Superb - Nice comfortable apartment. Good location. Owner provides car park spot. The bathroom vanity was a little small. I understand this can’t be helped.
- Tyler (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adrian (8/5): Nice apartment close to city and Salamanca market - Spacious, comfortable, close enough to the city but not in it, nice kitchen, European (adjustable) shower head. Pokey bathroom, heat pump running all night for different apartment (upstairs), could do with a few condiments (salt, pepper, olive oil) & small plates in the kitchen.
- Venice (10/5): We would stay again - Clean and comfortable good area Nothing
- Sam (9/5): Lovely small and snug apartment. Very central position - Nice location. Very central in Sandy bay. Lovely bedroom and ensuite. Could really use more storage. Nowhere for hanging clothes. And maybe another cupboard above sink and stove as there is really nowhere for any food items if you wish to be self sufficient. We stayed 6 nights. Small details really. One other suggestion instructions for both the heating and the hot plates. We figured it out in the end. Lovely snug apartment though. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
- How (6/5): Pleasant -
- Brooke (10/5): Amazing Apartment! We loved everything about this place! - The most perfect little apartment for a couple in Hobart! We loved everything about this place. It’s spacious and cozy. Big comfortable bed, and I loved the massage chair! Really good shower in a small bathroom. Perfect location with a very cheap Uber or walk into the CBD. I would definitely stay here again!
- Phoebe (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment was very cozy & homey. The massage chair was such a bonus after a tiring day out. We felt like it's home away from home in the unit. The instructions for checkin could be more detailed & specific. We ended up parking at neighbour's lot & trying the key code at wrong unit too. Host also did not respond to our queries & we had to struggle to help ourselves get to the correct unit.
- Lucie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Olugbenga (9/5): An enjoyable stay - The entire apartment is well maintained and beautifully curated. The bed is comfortable and there's a massaging chair for a bonus. We particularly love the tidiness of the apartment. Nothing to dislike really. Just a constructive feedback about the location of the entrance. We had thought the door code given to us was for the front door. We're later told by Paul that the entry was by the side. It'll help to make this clear upfront.
- Bianca (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely be back. Super cosy and comfortable for our family. The pull out sofa was really nice and the kids had a great sleep. The massage chair was a bonus and we made a lot more use of it than we thought we would. The location was great and super convenient to get everywhere. Nothing, it was great.
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - Owners were great and any concerns were addressed without fuss.
- Kaye (9/5): Paul was a great host, Sandy Bay was a great spot, very close to Salamanca Market, food options in Sandy Bay were great. - Quiet, clean, modern, comfortable. Loved the massage chair!😃
- Leanne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Clive (9/5): Superb -
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely quaint guest room, secluded from the main residence. Perfect for a quick night (or few) in a good part of Hobart
- Kleehammer (10/5): Enjoyed our stay in Tasmania. - Location was central for us, the accommodation seemed lovely and private. Was very comfortable. Enjoyed our stay in Tassie.
- Laura (10/5): Great location - Great location. Parking space available. The apartment was clean and tidy. Paul and Caroline were super easy to communicate with. Amazing value. -
- Sandeep (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and comfortable for a small family. Relaxing atmosphere with an amazing massage chair! Can't fault the stay.
- Tom (10/5): Convenient, Private and new. Will come again. - Lovely apartment. It was separate from the main house and very private. Loved the massage chair. Nothing it was lovely.
