- Daniel (10/5): Perfect Rome location with class and a great view! - Fantastic location right by Camp dei Fiori - in easy walking distance of everything. Cool pad with class and everything one might want. And the roof terrace- awesome! Well, nothing really - there’s no elevator and it is the top floor apartment. Steep stairs - so if that’s an issue for you, pick something else. But for anyone else - those stairs are sooo worth it!
- Richard (8/5): Very good -
- Amanda (6/5): The property was in a great location and it was a spacious apartment but the furniture was a bit run down and the apartm -
- Nathalie (4/5): Location was amazing, the place has potential but it is very worn down, dirty and we would not book this again for the p - Location, size and efficient air condition. It generally appeared worn down, with few fixtures actually appearing properly attached, paint on the walls being heavily marked and generally just used and not maintained. The place generally appeared dirty and poorly cleaned - both in the day-to-day and over a longer period of time with dirt lodged in creases, dust which had stuck to the bathroom shelves, dirt in the showers, etc. The kitchen was very poorly equipped, it is not possible to cook actual meals with the available tools, and there was no dishwashing liquid or brush provided. In addition, which was a big disappointment for us, it was not possible to use the top terrace as the shade shield shown on the pictures was not there. Although the contact person was friendly, he meant that he could not do anything about it, meaning that in 35-40 degrees sunny weather, it was absolutely impossible to use the terrace.
- Gordon (5/5): Good location with friendly locals. Stairs are a negative and property a bit tired. See comments. - The location was very good and was close to Campo de' Fiori which has excellent restaurants and a market during the day.
The location is pretty central for most main sites with Piazza Navona very close followed by the Pantheon. The Vatican, and the Colosseum are all about 25 minutes easy walk in different directions.
People are very friendly and helpful. Air conditioning is okay once you figure out how it works. Some guidance would be helpful. Could not find controls for kitchen area Air Con Unit. The decking area is good however, there was no sun canvas as shown in the pictures. This would have made the area a bit more frequently used.
The beds were comfortable although main bed frame and sofa are not of a great standard. Mattresses were good.
The TV is good but if wanting to tie into your own streaming, would need to take a HDMI cable and tie into a laptop.
Supermarket close by towards Piazza Navona was very good, 5 minutes walk away from apartment.
The help whenever needed with the apartment Manager was very good and always available and most helpful. The stairs up to the property were the big negative for us and goes up to 4th floor with no lift. One of our party requires a walker so made the climb each day challenging. Would be helpful to have known this prior to booking as it wasn't communicated. Have to find stairs comments in reviews.
The facilities within the property are worn - kitchen units are not to a high standard and facings and finishings are poorly fitted for the cost of apartment, as I did expect a better quality standard for what we paid for. There is a fridge and a washing machine and gas hob. The cooker was not used as it was poorly fitted into the kitchen unit and was loose.
It is clean though, just a bit worn and plastic facings screwed on in en-suite does not convey a quality feel.
There was an occasional drains smell from small patio area outside for breakfast, although we ate out mostly.
TV does not connect to the wifi system making streaming of Netflix unavailable, unlike as shown or indicated in apartment booking photo's. Not a huge issue though as we came to Rome to tour and not watch telly but may be important to some though with children after a long day (and walking up the stairs).
The shower rooms are not finished to a particular good quality and are tired. En-suite shower room door is easily pushed in outer direction when closed door showering causing floor to flood if no attention shown. Hot water system is good and provided plenty warm and hot water.
The bathroom shower leaked which caused everybody to end up using the en-suite shower. The toilet, which had a macerator fitted, does tend to smell after a while so needs cleaning fluid to keep it fresh.
The living room area sofa and seating is a bit worn and could benefit from a cushion clean as it is marked with previous occupants.
Safety -The main bedroom had a double socket hanging out of its wall casing.
For a larger family, could do with more towels and toilet paper.
- Bjoern (7/5): Good -
- Jonathan (8/5): Overall loved the stay. - Lots of Stairs. Good for exercise but quite tiring.
- Riana (9/5): Perfect location, wonderful patio and really loved our stay. - We loved the large patio on the rooftop especially with amazing views and we spent morning and late afternoons enjoying the space. People comment about all the stairs to get to the apartment but it is worth the climb. Apartment was very comfortable and spacious. Hosts were amazing and very responsive to all requests. Nothing
- Gourav (9/5): It was excellent experience. - Excellent location. It’s an old property. The building does not have a lift / elevator. You need to be a very strong man to lift all your suitcases up.
- Tim (9/5): Great location, nice apartment, lovely roof terrace - Up 5 flights of stairs!! No lift
- Rebecca (8/5): Very good -
- Saeed (7/5): Good -
- Carlie (10/5): Perfect in every way! - The location was absolutely perfect. Close to restaurants and walking distance to all the attractions. The apartment is spacious with room for our family to not feel on top of each other. The terrace is perfect for drinks and board games. Lorenzo was such a help with storing our bags and organising our transfers to and from the airport. There a quite a few stairs but very manageable. If you were older this could be a issue.
- Dave (9/5): Superb - Great location. Excellent apartment with an amazing rooftop sitting area. Nothing not to like.
- Textile (9/5): Amazing apartment with great location. The terrace was an amazing addition, apartment was clean. - The location was great. Everything was just a walk away. Good, simple and affordable food and coffee places around the corner. They only gave us one "welcoming" toilet paper roll, so you have to buy the essentials yourself.
- Kenneth (10/5): Exceptional - good service regarding early check-in and late check-out
very well situated in historic Rome
- Khadija (10/5): Exceptional - rooftop terrace 😍😍 everything was lovely, on the top floor so keep in mind stairs
