Deanne (8/5): - This property has an amazing view. It is museum worthy clean. It has a nice undercover sitting room outside to enjoy the view. If you like hospitality, this place is not for you. We arrived an hour early to drop our bags and get our bearings so we could head out and enjoy our afternoon. There had been no email as promised by the venue to tell us how to access the place so we wanted to make sure everything was ok. It was about 15min drive out of town. We drove down a long driveway to find a locked steel gate. I rang to speak to the owner who seemed affronted and told us she was cleaning so dropping bags was not an option. She much preferred us to arrive at exactly 2pm and got frustrated because she would be busy cooking her husbands dinner if we arrived later when I said I wasn't sure what time we would return. When we did reluctantly return, the place was full of little signs everywhere reminding us to 'cover the bed if we were going to have a picnic in bed' etc. There was a rainwater showerhead installed with an accompanying sign that said 'strictly 4 minute showers only'. There seemed to be notes and rules everywhere you looked. It made what could have been a pleasant stay, feel like we were paying intruders in her fantasy homestay. The perfect looking little side table wobbled and had an uneven surface which made you feel anxious if you put a cup of tea on it. There were loud sounds of people moving about from the main house directly above the bed so it was impossible to forget that the unfriendly owners were lurking about. No TV, just cute pics of the rules of the place. Steep stairs leading down to the basement of the property underneath the main house where the room was located.
Catherine Guinevere (9/5): - Very peaceful setting. Very clean and comfortable. Truly beautiful location. Having two neighbouring rooms ruined the tranquility at times - especially if the neighbour was out in their patio, talking (loudly)....really shot a hole in the atmosphere. Also, if you like a firm mattress, this is not for you.
Nadine Hogg (9/5): - Exceptionally clean. Comfortable bed. The bathroom is lux with a wonderful rain shower. Superbly appointed with fantastic views and close to cafes and restaurants. Very quiet. Undercover parking is a bit tight for larger cars.
Monica (10/5): Romantic getaway with magical views - Our friendly host, Diane, greeted us warmly and showed us our room on arrival. Walking through the gate, we were pleasantly surprised by the spectacular, uninterrupted views of the coastline. Our room was tastefully decorated with a lovely ensuite, which again captured the stunning scenery through the window in the large shower. Everything was spotlessly clean with thoughtful items such as outdoor blankets available for our comfort. We loved sitting outside rugged up watching the sky changing colours in the evening and then the beautiful sunrise in the morning...just magic😍 Thank you for a lovely stay..we will definitely be coming back! Nothing to report!

With beautiful views right outside your door and comfortable seating to spend the afternoon glorifying the mountains around and the vista of the Gold Coast. Hosts are wonderful and very friendly people who are always welcoming and there to help. Designated guest parking is always available with easy access to the street. Very quiet and surreal. 100% recommend this beautiful stay to everyone and we will be back again!

Clarke (10/5): Breathtaking Views - So professionally finished and furnished, the detail in the ( Everything ) is 1st class. The view is to die for. The peace , quiet , flora and fauna is worth every cent. The surrounding town with all the food , wineries 🍷, shops, markets, waterfalls, hiking trails... It was the perfect getaway for my wife's Birthday. The saddest part was we had to leave and return to reality.lol, work, kids, We forgot all about that. It was great to get away. And the perfect way to stay. thank you. We will be back soon😘 no smoking on site but , just went up the driveway. all good

Anna (10/5): Pure serenity - This was probably the most beautiful place I ever stated at. You cannot grasp the feeling you get sitting outside, watching the fog rise and fall, it’s just breathtaking and serene. I never felt this calm and relaxed in my life. The accomodation itself is beautifully designed and styled and even inspired me to do some changes on our current build, haha. It was very clean, neat and cozy. I loved the complimentary coffee machine, it made waking up at sunrise so much easier. You get so much space, inside and outside. And lots of informations on Mount tambourine and recommendations!! The owner was also very nice. She even prepared an umbrella for us outside, as it was about to storm! Our only regret was that we arrived quite late and only stayed one night, so make sure to spend as much time as possible there, you won’t regret it. I’ll definitely come back for a longer stay and will recommend to everyone 👏🏼

The hosts added a lot of very sweet touches throughout the property (very thoughtful!) as well including complimentary drinks and snacks to make our stay feel special. Very hospitable ! We could recommend outdoor heating such as outdoor heater lamps to help guests stay outside in the cooler seasons for even longer.
Robert_dutton (10/5): Views to die for and great hospitality. - The accommodation far exceeded expectations. It was well priced, Diane was very accommodating allowing my wife and I to check in 2 has early due to a wedding we had to attend. On arrival Diane gave a very good run down on the accommodation, she had baked a very nice Danish and Croissant which was delicious. The room was also stocked with quite a selection of snacks as well as a couple of beers and wines if you so wished at no extra cost. The absolute best part was the stunning unobstructed view of whole gold coast and made for a beautiful sunrise viewing. Could happily sit and watch that view for hours. The only possible recommendation for the future may be to add a TV to the room. Wasn't an issue for us as we always travel with out laptop. Very small issue but maybe something to consider that may appeal to more people.

The little basket of goodies, the miniature bottle of champers and beer. The room smelled amazing! And don't get me started on the views! Just a fab place to stay and the nicest people! If you're hesitating - trust this review. It was such a great place to stay!! I don't think you'd get better treatment at a 5 star resort! Nothing. It was perfect :D

The shared outdoor lounge areas had the best view of the forests and Gold Coast we’ve ever seen, and watching the city light up as it got dark was beautiful. The bathroom also had a rainfall shower with a window showing the view perfectly. Can’t wait to find the time to come back again. absolutely nothing

Lin (10/5): Exceptional - Karl & Diane have a wonderful unit that's tucked away, secluded, and has an amazing view from the outdoor sitting area. The room was lovely and fresh, with an abuncance of tasty little treats for breakfast (& snacking!) provided to us. I'd highly recommend Karl & Diane's unit (there's 2 available) to anyone travelling to Tamborine Mountain. The private parking was a little tight to navigate, but if you're a confident driver, you'll be OK 🙂

The view was absolutely incredible with a lovely ambience and a perfect view of the coast. I couldn't have ever wished for a more perfect place to stay.
Elisa (10/5): A hidden gem with an amazing view - An amazing place with an amazing view. The room is comfy and has all you need. The outdoor area is comfortable and well furnished. You can sip your coffee while watching the sunrise or sip a complimentary wine while you're watching the moon rising from the ocean. The view is breathtaking and it is so quiet and peaceful that you forget that you're only 40 mins away from the city. The hosts are very nice and welcoming. I must say also very thoughtful since we were pampered with breafstast, snacks and a bottle of wine. I let the host know that we are vegan and she went above and beyond to create a yummy and beautiful vegan goodie bag. The place is spotless and the bed is comfortable, all you need after a nice walk in the parks which are all a short and easy drive away. The shower with a view over the gorge and the coast is worth mentioning. The area is a quiet residential area and the 2 rooms on the lower floor overlooking the garden are independent from the main house and private. Both rooms have an independent outdoor area and a shared space, which gives you plenty of privacy. It was a perfect getaway and I couldn't have asked for more. Nothing. It was all great.
Daryll (10/5): The place to stay in Mount Tamborine - We were blown away with the awesome views from our room, patio and shower. The room was beautifully styled, very comfortable and clean. Our host was very friendly and helpful and had a folder prepared with information about the area that was very useful. A basket of nibbles and cold drinks in the fridge went down a treat on arrival as we sat on the patio admiring the view. A delicious breakfast was also included in the price of the room, enjoyed again on the patio admiring the scenery. We would highly recommend this place, very private, and quiet with guest parking. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.
