De host was vriendelijke, de informatie in de accommodatie duidelijk en het ligt op een veilig terrein waar je net als ons met geluk dieren spot! Geen tegenvallers!
• Julie (9/5): Everything you need. Bus at the door. Nice pool. - Very clean and tidy with some nice little extras. The only issue was the renovation noise from next door. It was an easy workaround though and the tradies were polite and respectful.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything necessary, great towels and bed linens, and all the toiletries you might need. It’s truly a place where you can just relax and enjoy your stay. Lynda is a super host, very kind and attentive. The place is 100% recommended, and if I return to Magnetic Island, I hope to stay here again.

• George (10/5): Relaxing, perfect stay - Amazing location, relaxed and quiet surroundings. Loved the wallabies in the garden at night. Apartment has fridge, freezer, and microwave so you can prepare some meals. If you don't have a car, we recommend hiring a bike/e-bike from next to cafe del mar so you can explore the rest of the island Nothing. It was perfect for us.

• Ross (9/5): Loved our Stay - Very comfortable studio unit. Very safe and approx. 900m walk from Nelly Bay wharf - bus stop out the front. Good pool and food restaurant based in Amaroo Resort. Nice touches in studio. Heavy glass door that needs some maintenance but host notified and all good. Would definitely stay there again. Instructions from Lynda were excellent. Heavy glass door but being fixed and not a deal braker!

The motel itself was very run down with shortened restaurant & reception hours. The gym had a broken door & equipment. There was no actual person present to meet and greet etc.

A short walk from the dock, supermarket and car/bike hires 🙌🏻. Cute wallabies out at night. The swimming pool was also a nice bonus! Absolutely nothing!

Very comfy bed with good cooking facilities. Only think was there was quite a few ants in the doorway to the bathroom first thing in the morning but apart from that, a really good stay.

• Romina (6/5): Small and cozy with a double bed - The host Lynda was very accommodating, she even allowed us to have an earlier check in, the Bus drops you right out the front of the resort and the resort is lovely. There is a beautiful pool area with shade and sunbeds. very small cozy room, bathroom was not clean there was long brown hair still in the bath mat and on the floor and the bed is small! It is double bed not even a queen and coming from a King size bed lets say we did not have much sleep as we could not move.

• Bernadette (9/5): Really enjoyed ourselves. Very comfortable stay with nice little inclusions - A lovely little unit. Had some modern modifications on an older building I think. Was just what I was looking for for a few days. Extra touches like wine and chocolate on arrival. Plenty of information about the local area. Very centrally spot to all the different villages on the island. Bus service outside resorts. Pool area great. May be a queen size bed would have been a big more comfortable. Air conditioning a bit noisy.
• Julia (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing stay. The accommodation style was nothing fancy, which I expected given the budget allocated, but it was so nicely arranged that it felt very homey. Everything in the room (deco, utilities) was thought through to improve the experience and it was the best equipped room I have ever been in. They even provided women's hygienic items! Nothing was missing. The overall resort was beautiful, with plants all around and even occasional wildlife. The pool felt like it was in the middle of the jungle. It looked a bit worn out and in need of care but the surroundings made it special. The restaurant was alright for dinner, with a really friendly hostess. Aside from the restaurant hostess, we only interacted with one other staff member, Lynda, via messaging. She was awesome. She gave us the heads up that the pool would be closed for half our stay. I expressed my disappointment and Lynda went the extra mile to improve our stay. Thank you Lynda!

• Rishav (9/5): Good room in a resort in a great location at a decent price. - The location was fantastic. The room very well appointed and bathroom pristine. The bed was comfortable as well. Also access to the walking trails were situated close by. Very quiet with only the sounds of birds singing. Overall a solid 9/10. The dated design and layout and upkeep of the pool. A tad overpriced.

• Heather (9/5): Lovely quiet studio unit - This was a lovely little studio with fully equipped kitchenette. The patio had table/chairs and was a good place to watch the local birds. While the double bed was a little small for us, the couch was effectively a single bed and very comfortable. The location was close to both walking tracks and great restaurants. We had a very comfortable stay! The unit is in a complex, where there is a gate enclosure that automatically locked after hours. With an early morning departure, it was a little complicated to get out and return the keys to the unit.

Our host was very accommodating and provided everything we could have needed for a comfortable stay. very clean and good self-contained amenities for a short stay. Couldn't fault much at all except the size of the bed only a double which was not anticipated. Still comfortable bed though

Nice bottle of white wine in the fridge. Caramello koalas in the fridge was a nice touch. Easy parking and no steps as you can use ramps. Super communication and directions. Perfect location and close to everything. Hoghly recommended. Restaurant, bar, pool and tennis court. The window mounted air-conditioning was a bit noisy. I noticed a lot of other units had changed to split systems. Would be my only suggestion.

Facilities very comfortable for a couple and the resort is lovely with beautiful gardens and a wonderful magnesium pool. Great location just a short walk from ferry and supermarket.

A good selection of cutlery, dishes, condiments. Really lovely touches as well including chocolate in the fridge for when we arrived. Our favourite stay in Australia yet. Location was also perfect. Not to far from the ferry terminal, 10 min walk and 3 min drive also close to hire care places. Lovely pool on the complex and place to do washing. Couldn’t recommend staying here enough. Nothing was all perfect
