Guest Reviews
- Liam (10/5): Great Location, Great Stay - Location, property, facilities, Great Stay
- Luis (8/5): Very good - All was good , great bathrooms Noise at night in the area. But understandable as it is based in central town area
- Kamala (8/5): Great location in Port Douglas! - The apartment could not have been in a better location for walking around Port Douglas. Lovely decor, small outdoor kitchen was well equipped for morning tea and breakfast. Lovely balcony to sit on in morning and have breakfast. Large, clean bathroom and a washing machine for clothes! Very convenient! Managers very good at communicating with quick response time, and easy check-in/out! A little tricky to find, parking not always available. Long walk with stairs to car park.
- Marisa (3/5): Acceptable in a pinch but BUGS![ - This place looks exactly like the pictures, the keys are in the lock box, so check in was smooth. There were cold waters, milk, a nespresso, cleaning supplies, and laundry detergent for the washing machine. The TV is connected to Netflix. The showers are nice as well. There is a pool and the hot tub area is cooler than the actual pool part. Outside the patio was a very cute pond.
The kitchen was well stocked beside the oven part, there's a blender, the hot plate under the sink works, not the one built into the counter.
We did have trouble finding the entrance and parking lot, but parking is free.
There are a lot of shops and cafes around- including the grocery store which is very convenient. The kitchen was open air on the patio, so not temperature controlled and free for all bugs to roam. Mostly just tiny ants-which is to be expected. The microwave area was dusty and sticky. There was no oven. Three roaches during my stay- one dead in front of the fridge, a giant one seemingly fell from the ceiling in the toliet, and another in the bathroom. You cannot adjust the air conditioning, there's one ceiling fan over the bed, but the bed Canopy really stops the breeze.
Obviously you can't blame nature but the birds loved the tree outside. All of them, hundreds and they were sooo loud in the evening.
The elevator only goes to the second floor then you have to walk up another flight of stairs.
There were no checkout instructions. The welcome booklet is from club tropical, which this is a private apartment, so not very useful.
I would not stay again and I wouldn't recommend, especially not in the summer months.
Definitely over priced
