Guest Reviews
- Noel (10/5): Enjoyed our stay -
- David (9/5): Pleasant and comfortable. - Spacious and generally well equipped.
- Peter (10/5): Do yourself a favour and book this property. - The property was exceptional .......... as a family we've stayed in numerous properties in Nelson Bay over the years but none meet the comfort, cleanliness, location or appointments of this property. The property was amazing and we'll be back for sure. Our stay was too short.

Bedding was so comfortable with great quality of quilts and pillows ..Spacious for all 9 of the family members .walking distance to the bay and town It was perfect !! Nothing negative
- Minnie (10/5): - Clean and spacious and nice place.
Very close to anywhere Door handle wasn't work well for safety

- Annie (8/5): Great location, beautifully styled house. Comfortable bedding. A few issues let it down. - The dishwasher wasn’t draining properly. There was no laundry detergent provided. We had just enough towels per guest. Extra towels would’ve been appreciated. Firewood was damp and unusable. The en-suite shower has no barrier so water leaks out into the main area. Also, we were charged an extra $100 for two additional guests — this should be
- Christine (5/5): Passable -
- Pamela (8/5): A beautiful and easy house to stay in with responsive and helpful hosts. - The location was excellent, a two minute walk downhill to Dutchies beach, an easy walk into town. The beds were all really comfortable and the property, on the whole, was really well-appointed and they had thought of most things - they had four camp chairs in the garage that were really useful for grandparents so we took those to the beach. (They had an old fishing rod and two old boogies boards in the garage, too, but they weren't useable, so they need either to be replaced or thrown out.) The sofa bed was not very comfortable at all though, so the mattress probably needs replacing. The property management company were really helpful and very responsive. The whole place is beautiful and easy to live in, the BBQ looked good (but we didn't use it), the dryer and washer were easy to use and worked well. The air conditioning and fans worked well, and the door locking mechanism with the code was easy to come and go for all ten guests. We loved the door that separated the bedrooms from the main living area, because it was a solid wood door and once the kids were put to bed, that door could be shut and the adults remained in the front area without having to tiptoe around, as the door blocked a lot of sound. Both the oven and the garage door didn't work after a recent storm and had to be reset - it would have been good if the property management had thought of that and had done that before we got there. Both worked after we found out how to reset them. The outside front light flickers constantly and needs replacing. The Wii remote had corroded batteries, but they replaced them and dropped them off as soon as we asked, which was great (sadly, the remote still didn't work, but that was ok). The TV in the back room was pretty old and not very responsive and hard to work, so we didn't really get to put a movie on for the kids while the adults watched tennis in the other room, which would have been ideal after busy days of swimming and fishing. The dish rack collects water underneath and doesn't drain properly, and the farmhouse sink needs tiles/backsplash behind it as the bench/window sill is going mouldy. The ensuite shower doesn't have enough of a fall to prevent water going all over the whole bathroom floor, every shower, which seems an oversight in a property where everything else is thought of. There's no kitchen pantry (as presumably the butler's pantry is instead locked and being used for storage) but it's ok enough for short stays.

- Aarathi (10/5): Fantastic and relaxing . Loved it . Highly recommend 🎉 - The location of the house
The cleanliness of the property
Fully furnished with all necessary items .
On the whole I would return back to the property again . Loved the stay . The ceiling fan in one of the rooms did not work .
The shower in the bathroom is located above the bath tub which is difficult for people with mobility issues .
Mosquitoes in the alfresco.
- Benjamin (9/5): Superb - Great house, open and light.
Good size rooms and had all that was needed.
- Maree (1/5): Worst booking agency I have ever encountered - The property was lovely and in a good location The booking process was an absolute nightmare with the agency that books the property We could not access the property until just before 5pm Suggest Booking.com find another agency to book the property as it was lovely.
- Colleen (8/5): Enjoyable time in a lovely home - Great size and location Bbq waste oil collection was overflowing and smelled
- Mairead (8/5): Very good -
- Lorraine (9/5): Superb - Very roomy
Close to beach
Good backyard for kids
- Penford (10/5): Was easy access and a beautiful home. Enjoy our time at the house. - House itself Only negative would be the lounges. Wasn’t enough lounges facing the tv for 7 people
- Tracey (9/5): Relaxing, beautiful house in central location. - Beautiful house, tastefully decorated and very spacious. The house is much bigger than shown in photos. All we needed was there to enjoy our weekend. Equally perfect for large family, 2 families or group of friends, including separate living room/office/kids room. great fire place and the TV was fully equipped. Good interned service. Great location with easy access to beaches and town centre. The garden is a little small if you were to bring kids, although, as a group of friends, this was not an issue for us. More toilet rolls would have been good :).
- Catherine (10/5): A very comfortable stay - Close proximity to facilities. Spacious house accommodating extended family.
- Helen (9/5): comfortable and spacious. great location and well presented - Beautiful and excellent location no internet
- Rspitzer (10/5): Terrific - The house was perfect for location and set up for my group of friends.
- Richard (9/5): Superb -
- Bronwyn (7/5): A lovely house in a good location - Great aesthetics. Roomy. Close to the beach Dishwasher was dirty. No coffee machine as promised. No shampoo or conditioner which we expected for the price we were paying. Outdoor seating area could have been nicer and it was strange there were no windows at eye level in the house.
- Monica (10/5): Relaxing and amazing - Everything was perfection from location and to facilities Nothing to fault about the place apart from the air con strength in the main room wasn’t the best
- Meagan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Laura (10/5): fantastic house very comfortable and clean .. loved our stay - close to everything, clean comfortable and a great place for a group fan didn’t work in the room with two beds, no fan in the smaller room and we couldn’t read the oven as the labels have wore off.
- Kirstin (10/5): Exceptional -
