Guest Reviews
- Donal (9/5): Very good stay encountered no problems - Location very good
- Coach Sue (10/5): Great stay for your own adventures in busy London! - The location was amazing, and the owners were so lovely. They left us a beautiful Christmas hamper and were always available to answer any questions we had. They responded well through the portal to all of our questions and checked in regularly to make sure we were OK.
A beautiful, cosy place that provided a large adult family space to be alone and space to be together. It was easy to walk everywhere you needed from this place as all buses, overland and underground were just up the road. The Shard and Tower Bridge were just up the road, so you couldn't get lost, as these landmarks made it easy to orient yourself at home each day.
Everything was easy and we loved that this place was an apartment to live in and to relax in. The thermostat would randomly get very hot, but honestly, it was not a biggie, as when you noticed it, you just turned it down again. Great heating that worked well.
- Douglas (10/5): - We were a group of professionals running a workshop and this space was exactly what we needed to come home to in the evenings.
- Iain (10/5): Relax and comfortable stay; worth the money! - Very good location, easy to travel by bus or trains. Kettle, tea, coffee provided; big flat; spacious bed rooms with very comfortable beds; cleaness spotted on. Wish to stay longer to explore London
- Mobbs (10/5): Pleasant stay; worth the money; will come back. - Very good location, spacious flat, nice deco; cleaness; comfortable beds. Love the kitchen with useful facilities like kettle, fridge…thank you for tea and coffee provided. None
- Rhys (1/5): Bad -
- Ayang (10/5): Overall, I would recommend the Modern Tower Bridge 3BR House for its fantastic location and charming - I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Modern Tower Bridge house! The location was superb, providing easy access to iconic sights and public transport. The stylish decor and spacious layout made it feel like a home away from home. Additionally, the kitchen was well-equipped, which allowed us to prepare meals during our stay. The host was also incredibly responsive and accommodating, making our experience even more enjoyable. On the downside, the noise from the street at times was a bit disruptive, particularly at night. However, these minor drawbacks did not overshadow the positive experience overall.
- Victor (2/5): Avoid this place! I was catfished! Worst LDN stay - This place is an absolute dump! The pictures on the site are nothing like real life. I was in London with family and friends over christmas and had to complete the stay due to limited availability and last minute pricing.
From day one, this stay was on a path to being a terrible experience. We never got an email with the entry code for the gate. So, we were stuck outside in the cold waiting for someone to answer the phone to let us in or give us the code. When we were finally in the gate, we noticed an old couch and bedding right outside the door. The inside was terrible: disgusting old carpets, blood stained curtains, windows that would not shut, non working toilets, dirty kitchen appliances, matresses and pillows that had probably been picked up on the side of the road, just to name a few major downfalls.
I live in Europe and understand stuff here is old; but this place SHOULD NOT be listed to be rented. Owners brought in a few new IKEA products into their dump, and thought that was good enough to call a rental. We were grossed out to walk around barefoot or in socks. We resorted to using our jackets as secondary pillowcases.
Do yourself a favor, and don’t stay here! Other than the descent location, there is nothing good about this place. Its filthy! It’s listed as having 2 bathrooms/showers. That is not the case at all. There was one shower, 1.5 toilets(one would not always flush) for 5 people. 0/5 stars.
I can only add 8 pics but have about 30 I wish I could share.
- Jane (9/5): Overall this is a smashing apartment, comfortable and clean. Ayang was a great host. - Location great and secure parking included. Some outside noise late at night.
