The gym was very dirty and seems a bit neglected. For people who are used to have AC on, this might be challenging since the rooms and gym don’t have AC.

El hotel es cálido en su ambientación, el trato del personal y su historia. El arreglo es elegante y en concordancia con las montañas y lagos. Sólo detalles a mejorar: la temperatura en el sauna y luces al volver del estacionamiento.

La carta del restaurante principal es un poco limitada

• Carla (10/5): - An icon in Villa La Angostura. The Correntoso hotel maintains all the charms of old school hospitality - great lounging spots, personalised and attentive service. The view of the rooms and shared spaces are really incredible. The breakfast had everything we could wish to try as well. Didn’t have time to eat at the restaurant but the menu looked pretty tempting. The spa facilities were also a great addition to relax at the end of the day or to escape a rainy day - an indoor/outdoor heated pool, sauna and steam room.

• victorio (5/5): Hotel lindo pero con relacion precio / calidad de servicio muy desfavorable. - La habitacion muy comoda, el personal amable y atento. Muy buenos tragos, en un entorno muy bonito. Es un hotel que esta a unos km de VLA, por lo que es ideal alquilar un auto para moverte por la zona. Aqui hay varios puntos. Es un hotel demasiado caro para lo que ofrece. De entrada las puertas del baño que son vidriadas hacia rato que no las limpiaban. Convivimos con una polilla muerta que se encontraba en el cuarto de ducha durante 48hs, nadie la vio... Antes de nuestro ingreso , me envian un mje para ver si teníamos restricciones alimentarias a lo que respondo que mi esposa realiza una alimentacion saludable . En el desayuno no habia productos descremados o light. Lo planteamos en la recepcion. Al dia siguiente igual. Recién el ultimo dia habia disponibilidad de esos productos. El restaurante está bien pero es muy caro para lo que ofrece. Me cobraron una botella de vino 3 veces mas de lo que sale en el centro de VLA. La comida es rica pero no descolla ( y te cobran como si fuera un resto Michelin) . En conclusion: es un hotel malo : NO . Pero es demasiado caro para la calidad de servicio que ofrecen. En términos de costos el precio por noche me salió lo mismo que un Hotel de 4 estrellas en Londres , a una cuadra de la catedral de St Paul, con una calidad de servicio de dicho hotel infinitamente superior. Si tenes alguna restriccion alimentaria por cuestiones de salud, definitivamente NO es un hotel para concurrir. Atte.

Hay otros hoteles mucho mejores Y con mejor atención

• Silvia (10/5): Um convite à contemplação da natureza, com muito charme - O hotel Correntoso tem ambientes que lembram cenários de filme! Pode-se escolher um dos diversos bancos de jardim para ver o por do sol no lago ou sentar-se na biblioteca, tomando seu café da tarde, num clima aconchegante e com música de alta qualidade de fundo. Puro charme! Os quartos são amplos e confortáveis, ainda que com aspecto rústico-chique, que complementa a aura meio vintage da estadia! Acho que nas temporadas podiam oferecer um serviço de transfer par o centro de vila La Angostura. Depender de taxi o tempo todo, principalmente quando se está com mais acompanhantes é um pouco chato ( ainda que os recepcionistas sejam muito solícitos para chamá-los)

A vista do hotel é ótima, a biblioteca é o melhor lugar do hotel. A brinquedoteca é boa e as funcionárias da brinquedoteca são muito simpáticas. Equipe de check-in e check-out são rudes e mal educados. O mesmo com os funcionários do restaurante. O hotel anuncia mais que entrega. Por 1/3 do valor fica-se em outros hoteis muito melhores em Angustura. Os quartos não são muito higiênicos, as amenidades são péssimas.

The location is perfect for people who like a calm place to relax with a great view. There's lake access right at the hotel and worth excursions to take. there's no air conditioning

• James (8/5): The hotel is in a beautiful location; rooms are comfortable and spacious, but the dining experience needs an upgrade. - The hotel’s position is unsurpassed. Rooms are large, well equipped and comfortable. It is easily reached from Villa La Angostura and is well placed for guests to access the Seven Lakes road - Route National 40 - and the Chilean border. The dining experience in the evening is overpriced and the amount of food for the money is not good value. The staffing of the dining experience was haphazard, with three different waiters/waitresses attending to us and not knowing who had offered what. My wife had to wait for her drink for too long. We had an excellent meal in Villa La Angostura on our second evening for two-thirds of the cost of dining at the hotel. Breakfast is offered in a small dining space which can be very busy and feel cramped, when there are larger spaces sitting idle across the communal areas adjacent to reception. When we returned to our room on our first whole day we found it had been cleaned but left unlocked. We sensed the hotel is resting on its reputation and maybe needs to look again from a guest’s perspective.

• David (10/5): Beautiful hotel overlooking great views, hope to return soon - The hotel is located beautifully on a fiord with a hot swimming pool , looking on the fjord .Our room had a great view also on the fjord. The hotel is furnished beautifully. We really loved it and villa angestura.

• Katie (10/5): The stunning property and warm staff left us very impressed and happy. - Everything about Correntoso was wonderful. The property was stunning and the hotel was cozy. It's perfectly located, and we never felt crowded by other guests. The reception team was very accommodating, and we appreciated the help of the Adventures team when planning our day trips and local activities. We were celebrating some special occasions, and the staff went out of their way to make us feel special as if we were part of a close community. We genuinely cannot wait to return to this gem of a hotel. We can't say enough good things about our experience here - thank you! Only downside (albeit very minor) was there were no irons on site, which is especially tricky for international travelers who are cramming clothing into small suitcases.
