Guest Reviews
- Barbera (10/5): Very clean, quiet, host was kind and accommodating - Clean, host was nice, room was very comfortable and private and a good location. N/A
- Roselin (9/5): The best - Liked;
The location
The neighbourhood/ the tranquility although it is located on the corner to Calle Ocho.
The communication with the property management
The key safety measures
The cleanliness and facilities
The spacious Master bed and bath room
The comfy bed and pillows
The cozy balcony There was only 1lamp in the corner of the bedroom (shimmering romantically) but we missed a normal light too.
The bed was too low for me. But that's only because I have back problems and can't easily get that low. But once on it, it's oh so comfortable.
- Amechejuanta (5/5): It’s ok if you like sharing space. - The balcony was ok I don’t care for “shared spaces “
If I knew it’d be tenants in the living room, I would have cancelled the reservation. Being as tho my plane was delayed and i got in at 12 midnight And they were very accommodating.
- Sati (8/5): Short - The facility is clean and accessible to many services The cat seemed slightly frightened.
- Lukas (9/5): Accomodation is great for this price. You may not find a Parking spot on the street. -
- Katrin (4/5): Disappointing - The accommodation owner was friendly.
Instead of a television, there was a projector, which would otherwise be a great solution, but the volume couldn't be adjusted very well, so we gave up using it so as not to disturb the neighbors. Staying overnight is not suitable for those who love silence in their room. I expected owner to offer a solution or compensation for our problem.
- Angelita (10/5): Exceptional -
- Josiel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sean (10/5): Exceptional - Kind, courteous host. Lovely room, clean. Nothing. It was a great stay.
- Jessica (6/5): Pleasant -
- Saulius (6/5): It's ok - The location was very good to explore Little Havana, plenty of restaurants nearby. It's not a hotel, just rooms in someone's flat. Private belongings left in the premises make feel weird. I expected more for the price asked.
- Ori (2/5): Think Twice before Booking - The apartment is well-located at a central place next Calle Ocho and the hosts tried to accommodate my requests. Very overpriced for a shared space with a family. The room is basic and there's no desk or a proper space to work. There's very little privacy and there's no great hospitality feeling. The unit is shared with a mother and her son and potentially other guests. Way too many for this size of apartment. I do believe there's better options out there.
- Jose (3/5): Not a good option for the price - The Bed. Very low to the floor, not good
- Michelle (7/5): Good -
- Clancy (10/5): Lovely room in a friendly family home. - A beautiful en-suite room in a family home. Great facilities with a gym and swimming pool in the apartment complex. Also free on street parking.
Such friendly, helpful, kind people.
I really enjoyed my stay. Nothing.
- Eve (10/5): À place you can call home away from home - The hosts were so kind and very welcoming.
The property was perfect, located in a nice neighborhood with restaurants around
I also liked the gym
It was exactly like on the pictures and even better Everything was great !
- Jose (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ederson (10/5): Exceptional -
- Precious (3/5): I was very uncomfortable, I did not appreciate the way I was treated, and I felt unsafe. - I liked the location in town… 1. My biggest issue was that there was no way to secure my belongings because the room did not have a lock and key. Therefore, when you leave the house, the door was unsecured. There was a little notch on the door, where you could lock it while in the room, but if you push hard enough, you could still open it. I felt very unsafe the entire time.
Note: The following note is a preface to my second complaint. There was a room across the hall that was unrented, per the son of the homeowner. The door to that room was open the entire time I had been there.
2. The refrigerator in my room did not work. I did not find this out until late one night after purchasing an expensive meal. When I returned from dinner, everyone was asleep. I had a very early morning and I left before everyone woke up. I knew that I would be out the entire day, and I did not want my food to spoil. So since the people seemed cool, I wanted to avoid interrupting anyone’s sleep, and I just put my food in the refrigerator in the room across the hall. I then sent a message asking if they could just put that refrigerator in my room since mine was defunct. The homeowner completely flipped out on me and accused me of invading someone’s privacy and treated me like a criminal. She did not know that her son had already told me that no one was renting the space across the hall. And when I told her that, she said it’s still not your room. There was never an apology for the broken refrigerator or appreciation for the fact that I opted not to wake them the night before or the following morning. I honestly thought that it would not be a problem. Would they rather that I had let my food spoil and asked them to pay for it? I think not. She also kept asking me to communicate in WhatsApp versus the booking app, and I felt like she wanted to keep the conversation off the record. But as soon as she started chastising me for using the refrigerator- she wanted to move the conversation back to Booking.com.
- Simon (6/5): Pleasant stay, in a nice residential area - Location was really good for Little Havana. It was a pleasant room. Kitchen facilities could have been better.
Host could have engaged more whilst in the kitchen, but she is new to hosting.
