Guest Reviews
- Thomas (10/5): Comfortable and homely beach getaway - Beautiful and neatly presented home, it was sparkling clean, very comfortable, and the owner was very responsive. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend. There is no internet/wifi, recommend checking you will have mobile reception if required
- Kristy (10/5): - What a gorgeous place to stay!
- Sharryn (10/5): Fantastic coastal retreat. - We had a really pleasant weekend getaway at this property. It was easy to locate, clean, and very comfortable.
The heating was excellent, which made all the difference on a chilly weekend. We didn’t hear any noise from neighbours and there was only minimal traffic sound, which made it peaceful.
Phone reception in the area was slim to none, so the reliable Wi-Fi was much appreciated.
Check-in and check-out were simple and hassle-free.
The home was well presented throughout, and the sunroom was set up perfectly for relaxing on a rainy day—which we made full use of.
Overall, a lovely, well-kept property that made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The name of the property suggested it was close to the pier. As someone new to the area, I was a little disappointed to find it was actually a drive away rather than a few steps distance.
- Andrew (10/5): - Nice place! Very comfortable and super friendly hosts! Keep up the great work! The cooler then average Vic weather😅
- Alex (9/5): - Easy to access and comfortable living room. Nice bbq space
- Katie King (4/5): - Cosy and you could bring your pets The neighbours were fighting and screaming most of the night
- Michelle (10/5): Great stay. - Great central location. Beach a short walk away. House had everything you need. Clean and tidy. Host Noelia’s communication was exceptional. Nothing
- David (8/5): Week end getaway with pretty wild weather.lovely township and friendly locals - Perfect location Needs a little TLC but generally very comfortable
- Karen (7/5): Pleasent but needs improving - Close to the beach, well maintained Windows in one of the bedrooms didn't lock, we were not told to not press the button on the door lock on the inside and got locked out but we were able to just open the lerver window at the back and reach in and unlock the door, security was a big issue. Also the bedding and towels smelt of smoke very unpleasant. There was also no shower gel or soap for showering.
- Rosabella (9/5): Cute little house with lots of characters and comfortable space. Love it. - Location great. A beautifully restored property. Great little garden and firepit on the side. Love the bird singing in the morning. Easy accessible to the beach. Provided everything we need. And if available in the near future I would book it again.
- Ozgur (8/5): -
- Barber (9/5): -
- Ludmila (9/5): Superb -
- Rohan (5/5): Looks can be deceiving - The location is easy to get to and the instructions for entry were simple to follow. Just a short walk down to the beach in front of the yacht club or a longer walk along a dedicated track to other beaches, boat ramp and main street of shops. Peaceful well maintained backyard. Appreciate that dogs were welcome and the fences were sufficient to keep them in. Bbq excellent and well maintained. Comfy couch. Good tv. Good internet connection. There was a mouse that would appear from behind the heater and run to the oven and back and forth. There were mouse droppings in the cupboard among the oven ware and pans. It is an older house but I would still hope that if it's being offered as a holiday rental that the walls/floors are secure enough to avoid entry by rodents.
The towels and pillowcases smelled like cigarette smoke - where were they hung out to dry after their last wash? Something to think about for next patron.
The front bedroom will hear a bus stop directly out the front that runs from 525am til late.
House needs a deep clean - e.g. lots of dust and balls of hair blew out from under the bed when the windows open. Visibly dusty/dirty above shower in bathroom. Vinyl floors - trip hazard around bench in kitchen and stained/dirty in parts.
- Kezza (9/5): Superb - Very comfortable, small backyard good for small to medium doggos. 5 minute walk to the beach. Drive way to park small to medium boat and 2 cars. Everything you need. Host was lovely to converse with.
- Maureen (4/5): Disappointing -
- Liz (10/5): This house was perfect for me. I was on my own with my dog, nothing was scary or annoying or wrong - The house was so nice and comfy I immediately felt like I was home. The yard was great for my dog and had secure fencing. It was nice and clean; the bed was so comfortable and had nice crisp sheets. Nothing, I loved it.
- Gerard (5/5): Passable - Close to the beach Leaking taps keep us awake all night, tv size of a laptop.
- Alexandra (8/5): Lovely beach house getaway - Beautiful property in the perfect position. It suited us perfectly as a family on a beach getaway!
- Andrew (8/5): Enjoyable & relaxing couple of days. - Met all our expectations and needs for our stay. Great for pet friendly. Could do with towel rails/hooks in bathroom. Bed was a little firm but that is personal preference. Otherwise it was fine. Name is a little misleading as pier is 2.5km away.
- Paulina (10/5): Great home and very comfortable - Lots of room
- Paige (10/5): if you want somewhere close to the beach that’s very homey this is the one. - we loved the location we loved that it felt very homey and we we’re surprised it had everything we needed we liked everything.
- Gary (9/5): Excellent value for money - Excellent location. It was comfortable. It had everything you needed. My wife was very impressed.
- Adriana (7/5): Overall, our stay was great. - Nice, cute beach house. Close to the beach. The beds were not comfortable, saggy mattress and base missing centre support.
Couldn’t access front door due to lock loose. Also, when you lock door from inside- can’t use front door.
Pavers at side gate entrance and around bbq were loose- safety issue.
Lino/laminate around island bench in kitchen not glued down- safety issue.
No clothes line.
Windows don’t all lock- safety issue.
Back security door can’t lock (no key)- not a security door!
- Sonia (8/5): Very good -

- Joanne (8/5): Very good -
- Amberpaterson (7/5): Affordable and comfortable accommodation close to the beach - Affordable and comfortable accommodation close to the beach! So great to have a full kitchen and bathroom! The bunk bed's were very small, but still functional. Overall, the home was lovely.
- Mihir (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kim (8/5): Very good - Location. Comfortable home with everything you need. Quiet location. The corners of the rooms and behind the beds wasn’t vacuumed

- Daniel (7/5): Good -
- Tracey (8/5): Very good -
- Mandy (8/5): Very good -
- Jodi (7/5): Good - Location was good, size of the house was good That toilet and shower was in the bathroom, the house was not recently cleaned, tv didn’t work when I contacted the owner I didn’t get instructions on how to get the tv working, there was sand in the bed in the front bedroom, windows in the lounge room didn’t open
- Mary (8/5): Stayed whilst attending Queens cliff Festival very pleasant comfortable home. - Easy walk to the beach and beach walk. Ideal for seeing local area but need own transport. Great to have linen supplied. would be nice to have a welcome pack fresh milk and perhaps toiletry products shampoo conditioner.
- Sian (8/5): Wonderful - Felt cosy and the sunlight coming in was wonderful, also being such a short walk to the beach was perfect
- Kelsey (9/5): Superb - Love that this property allows pets, enables us to go on a family holiday with our beloved furry friends!
- Zoe (8/5): Very good -
- Jenny (6/5): Just a place to sleep - There were no instructions for the TV and we had a great deal of trouble getting free to air. The wi fi password did not work. Lots of dirty things under the kitchen sink. No information about local attractions. We stayed here back on March and did not have these issues. I think the standard has dropped since then.
- Fiona (7/5): Good -
- Robin (10/5): the property was lovely, cosy, in a quiet area and close to the beach. a relaxing time was had. -
- Rachel (8/5): was nice and quiet, great location, nice clean comfortable home. value for money. would stay again. - Good large bedrooms, plenty of good lighting, and very clean. Comfortable lounge, good backyard, good quality bedding (linnen). good pillows. the hardwood floors were great The beds were a little too hard. I would have preferred at least one of the queen beds to be a pillow top or softer—institutions on how to use the coffee pod machine. The power points in the kitchen near the kettle and the toaster were too high and hard for someone short to reach, and I couldn't call it. The bath may need a rail to help you get in and out of the shower, as the tub is high off the floor. The toilet runs into a bowl after flushing and may need repairs for the leak. You may use a front fence from the yard, as it can be a busy road at times; small pets may run out to the road and get hit.
- Kerri (9/5): Comfortable, clean & convenient Plenty of room Will stay again with family -
- Sarah (10/5): Loved our stay thankyou - Everything we needed very comfortable and close to beach Toilet pipe leak, kitchen power socket cover loose, front door lock loose.
- Julie (7/5): pleasant enough, a bit outdated and rundown. - clean, well equipped, spacious plastic plants/ flowers
garden and outside of house needed work
a bit far from the hot spots- Pt Lonsdale/ Queenscliff/ Barwon Heads
- Robyn (9/5): Superb - We enjoyed being able to sit on the back porch would be good to have a slightly bigger table as we didn't feel like putting up the umbrella etc on the table on the lawn
- Jenny (8/5): Very clean and comfortable. - Difficult to use the shower over the bath as no hand / safety rail especially as we are in our mid seventies.
- Cassandra (8/5): Enjoyable beach stay - Comfortable beach cottage. Lovely walk down to the beach. Great communication from Host.
- Geoffrey (8/5): Very good - The bathroom needs a upgrade, rest of the house no probs.
- Jeremy (7/5): Good -
