Guest Reviews
- Danny (1/5): That I didn’t like the place - Has a ok balcony Staff were very rude tried to accuse me of having a party sent me property damage bill when I did not damage the place there was cockroaches everywhere when I first walked in staff were very rude on the phone would not recommend
- Natalie (9/5): Fab - Great spot. Comfy beds and beautiful space to be in. If I had to find one it needed one more comfy chair in the lounge room to fit our family.
- Chantal (7/5): Stylish, central Byron accommodation - Great location, very clean and spacious. Great kitchen with amazing little touches like a stocked coffee machine. Really good having a washer and dryer too Very loud given it was so central and quite bright as sheer curtains. No parking which was challenging having to move the car

- Esmee (8/5): - Lots of space, great location, veiws. Love the bright open vibes. Mold in shower, dirty vents above shower. street very loud at night until early hours, however this waa made very clear by host before we booked. Ear plugs recommended.

- Sequeira (6/5): - The location and the convenience to facilities, the beach and restaurants from the penthouse is excellent. It is designed well and welcomes a lot of natural sunlight. The hosts were welcoming and lovely and descriptive with most features. The locks on the door were non functional. The Jacuzzi was advertised on the site but missing a clear courtesy note to state that the jacuzzi was non functional and hence not on offer. The third room is advertised as a loft but ideally cannot be considered a third room considering different family dynamics as access is via a ladder. With the master bedroom, considering it is facing the street, the bedroom would benefit from dark roller blinds as it faces bright street lights. The entrance is located at the back where bins face and one can hear the garbage truck come collect it at 3am in the morning.
In terms of the cleaning service, the coffee machine wasnt cleaned, bathroom shower gels and soaps were not refilled and the cutlery and pans weren't properly cleaned. The dishwasher below the sink had spilled on the floor from the cleaning service team and we needed to clean it up. The bathrooms had grime collected and the balcony was not cleaned with water spillage. Considering peak season and the cost charged, it didnt quite deliver the expected value for the price point.

- Charles (7/5): Great location and would consider staying again even allowing for the drawbacks mentioned above. - If you want a central location, this is about as central as you can get. Kitchen and other rooms are all well appointed. Nice and breezy when you open doors at either end and beds were comfortable. We needed to prepare wedding cakes and found the kitchen more than adequate for our purposes. Sunday markets on your doorstep were a bonus. No parking is inconvenient, but we found free all-day parking 5-minute walk away in Shirley St. 3 flights of stairs (no lift) may be a problem for anyone with mobility issues. Noise and light pollution is pretty bad and will disrupt if you are a light sleeper. Upper bedroom is cramped. Door locks (top & bottom) need fixing.
- Aaron (7/5): Good location, for all that Byron bay had to offer - Good location, but noisy with the night club & pub close by. Very light at night no dark blinds or curtains to block out street lights. Needs dark curtains or blinds to block out light & noise. Bathroom very dated . No parking for the price you pay
- Justine (8/5): Great location, stylish apartment with everything you need ! - Great location, stylish apartment with everything you need ! Only has air conditioning in main bedroom. Entrance via back street and past rubbish bins but worth it for the location
- Ab (8/5): 2 nights in Byron Bay - The apartment was clean and comfortable .
Byron Bay is a town we recommend that everyone should visit
Young or old
The town has a great vibe and feel to it.
3 nights is plenty
We stayed 2
We could have stayed another night We felt the apartment wasn't good value
It was too expensive compared to similar apartments we have stayed in during our trip
EG
Noosa,Surfers Paradise, Fermantle ( Perth) Melbourne.
We accept Byron Bay is an expensive town to visit. What we paid for 2 nights, we felt it wasn't good value for our dollar
A warning regarding location
The apartment is in the middle of town
Restaurants and shops below and the town can noisy at night with music
It didn't bother us
- Helene (10/5): Exceptional -
- Perla (6/5): Pleasant -
- Donna (4/5): Never done a bad review and I travel a lot. But unfortunately we weren’t happy with our stay - Great location if you don’t mind noise at night as it’s in the middle of the town. We didn’t mind the noise to be honest.
The apartment is beautiful. 1. The loft bedroom is small. We could have dealt with that. But the stairs up to it are extremely steep and dangerous. There are no curtains up there to block the early morning light. And a portable AC unit that as good as doesn’t work. It was boiling hot. Our friends that were meant to stay up there had to book and pay for new accommodation for all of the above reasons. We asked what they could do for us and apart from offering us to check out early they said there was nothing they could do just because we were unhappy.
2. It states they have AC. They have it in the main bedroom. The other two bedrooms have portable AC units that were absolutely useless. The entire stay was hot and uncomfortable. The huge living and dining area also has no aircon. We couldn’t even chill in there as it was too hot!
If they had a good AC unit it would be a much better stay.
We had to bring a single mattress from the loft to the main bedroom so our friend could share the room for a better sleep in the AC.
Not ideal for a 3 night stay costing more than $3000
Attached is a photo of how we had to sleep with a mattress on the floor. They could do with blackout curtains. I took that pic at 11pm. It was like broad daylight inside the room.
- Mary-anne (6/5): Overall we had a pleasant stay, but BR3, noise and temperature issues should be more clear. - We enjoyed our stay at this apartment, but there are a few things that should be clearer in the property information. The third loft bedroom has a very low ceiling (less than 1.6m), which is awkward for any height. While the main bedroom has air conditioning, the second bedroom has poor airflow and gets quite hot. There are louvred windows up high on the walls in most rooms, but they were closed on our arrival and most could not be reached to open them ourselves. Additionally, the apartment is located above a main street, which is great for central access, but noise from buskers and a nearby pub continues until around 2am. To block out the noise, the apartment needs to be sealed up, which results in the living area and second/third bedrooms becoming uncomfortably warm.
- Kerriann (3/5): We enjoyed our time together but accomodation was quite disappointing - Close to the town centre
Comfortable beds
Quite clean No curtains for any kind of blockout particularly in middle room & loft
Unusual dual tenancy to second floor
Felt slightly unsafe unsure not explained
Garbage truck pickups constantly from 4.30 am Thursday morning
A lot of noise from surrounding venues and people in alleys
- Kevin (9/5): Superb -
- Neely (7/5): Lovely property but not young child friendly - Great locations There was no blinds and the street lights were on all night. Hard with small child
- Sabah (8/5): Great - Location and style Third room has low roof so can’t accomodate adults
- Mikel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cassie (10/5): Exceptional -
