- Ian (8/5): Very quiet, good location, happy, friendly staff. - Great location, clean facilities, lovely staff We were in a room with no en-suite or water. The bed was a little uncomfortable. The place was otherwise excellent.

- Ron (10/5): THE BEST I ever stayed at in 20 years travelling - Beautifully and thoughtfully laid-out.
In a genuine wilderness environment with Sapphire close by.
Spotlessly clean everywhere and the best aspects for us were the incredible kitchen/dining area. THE best equipped I've ever come across anywhere....so many good cooking pots/pans, amazing china/cutlery/cooking utensils. Made my turn cooking an absolute pleasure!!
Then there's Daryl and Vicky, a breath of fresh air compared to most such sites. On arrival so easy and mornings you'll find them sitting outside reception chatting with everyone.
We absolutely Lived it and only wish we had longer there. There really is nothing not to like

- Yoka (9/5): We will try to come back! - The whole place was lovely and relaxed country time vibes My kids 🤣
Hahah. But honestly due to the relaxed town don't expect to have staff at your call during hours this is mostly self-contained take care of yourself accommodation so make sure you are set up for your duration at the start even if you get the cabin like us but it's still great accommodation with a friendly smile.
- Sarah (9/5): Very tranquil and relaxing - Was beautiful very peaceful Nothing I didn’t like

- Christine (7/5): - Good location, helpful staff, lovely grounds and bird feeding was added bonus The cabin has a shared an interior wall with another cabin. There was no noise insulation at all and you could everything next door. Not much peace or quiet.
- William (8/5): Very good - Great service lovely suroundings Cabins had no water and walls are paper thin
- Kimberly (9/5): Peaceful, quiet and comfortable! - We loved that it was tucked away, up on a hill, with the bush around us. So many animals wandering around! We loved it!!
The bed was so comfy! Plenty of room. We loved the authentic feel with the billy boulders as the walls, its beautiful!! The pool was so clean, we didn't get a chance to swim this time, but we will be back!
The staff are soooo friendly and always up for a chat! This really adds to the small town feel. They are great!! Thank you! My only whinge, is the floor was a bit dusty, expected out there yes, however, would have loved an inside broom to just sweep it out each day instead of the outside broom :)
- Jessica (10/5): Perfect for families - Loved the relaxed atmosphere and the peace and tranquility. The hosts are absolutely wonderful very warm and welcoming 😃 There is nothing to dislike.
- Amber (8/5): Very good - Beautiful hidden gem!
- John (10/5): Best way to see Saphire. - Great place to base yourself while you're visiting all the fun attractions. Darrel and Victoria are so helpful and informative. Nothing is a problem. Everyone will love the daily animal feeding. The pool was great after a day of fossicking. Nothing
- Grace (8/5): Great for families - Darrell and Victoria could not have been more helpful. The facilities are brilliant and the wildlife feeding every day was a highlight!
- Mandy (8/5): Very good - Beautiful setting, full of wildlife. Our daughter adores seeing a brushtail with her baby and the bird feeding
Being able to seive our wash in the gem washing area onsite was fantastic
We struggled a little with sleep as the external amenities light shone into our cabin and we weren't able to block it out, but it wouldnt really affect any other cabin and we would still choose to stay here again.
The rock walls were lovely and plenty of outdoor group seating sreas to enjoy the scenery
Would have loved to stay longer
- Stuart (6/5): Pleasant -
- Melouney (6/5): Pleasant -
- Hodgson (10/5): Will definitely stay again. - The hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Nothing we didn’t like
- Susan (8/5): I loved the kookaburras, possums, cockatoos, lorikeets and wallabys. I loved the pool. - The pool was spotless and well maintained. I loved the care for the wildlife. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could want! My cottage had a basic fridge too.
Bed linen was fresh and very welcoming. The staff were very kind and friendly. The entire site was lovely, well kept, attractive and clean and tidy. Having to leave after two nights!!
- Norman (8/5): Very good -
- Piet (8/5): Very good -
- Dales (8/5): Cute cabin hideaway! - Lovely stone wall features and gas stove. Beds comfortable. Cute cabin stay! Bathroom nice and large but was not well cleaned.

- Steve (9/5): Superb -
- Katherine (10/5): We had a great time :) - Super friendly staff, great location. Will come back!
- Fiona (10/5): Lovely stay SAPPHIRE - We loved the staff and everything about the accom.
We think maybe next time qe have a friend visit us for drinks we ask to stay elsewhere. Apologies if we upset you. Xxx thanks Lack of utensils for cooking. I wish there was alot more. It is good but not amazing. The knives are not sharp, there was no Masher or peeler and i wish there were more baking dishes for potato bakes etc.
- Josette (8/5): Very good - Lovely owners/managers of the caravan park who were very helpful. We really liked the feeding of the birds and the fact that they aren't fed so much they become dependent. We did a tour with Pam on Lady Luck Fossicking Tours (highly recommend this) and we used the washing facilties which are park of the caravan park. We also used the camp kitchen which was great and well stocked with utensils and crockery. We were in a family cabin (one room all in together) and the kitchen The bathroom could have been a little cleaner - especially along the top of the skirting tiles. Otherwise all was good.
- Alex (4/5): Disappointing -
- Jillian (9/5): Superb - I loved the rustic stone cottages nestled in the bush amongst the wildlife. The cottages were very comfortable though basic to meet our needs. The cook kitchens were exceptional with all cooking equipment and utensils provided.
Shared bathrooms were always well cleaned.
Feeding time at 5pm daily was so 😉 enjoyable. We loved everything and would recommend it to our family and friends to stay at Sapphire caravan cabin park for a truly great outback adventure on the gemfields.
A small recommendation would be just a small handbasin in or outside the cottage for handbasin and a mirror in the cabin 😀
- Cherie (8/5): Very good -
- Craig (7/5): Good -
- Christian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Norm (7/5): A GOOD TWO NIGHT STAY - MUST HAVE MISSED BREAKFAST
- Bruce (8/5): Very good - All the other travellers Nothing
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional - Great staff, location and very tidy park.
- Glenn (9/5): Great spot to stay - Lovely location in the bush. The cabin had plenty of room for 4 adults and the outdoor table was useful. Afternoon birds feeding and singer at the BBQ was a nice bonus! Our only issue was with our neighbours talking loudly all through the night - the walls may be stone but sound travels well at 2-4am - Not the parks fault tho!
- Lisa (8/5): Unique experience of staying in a small fossicking village made comfortable in cute cabin. - Unique cabins built with rocks, in a lovely bush setting. Some people may prefer an ensuite, but it was a short walk to the toilets and showers and taps.
- Chris (10/5): great place to stay, do animal feeding of an arvo and have everything you need in a great location. -
- Laurel (6/5): a place to have a good sleep after a very tiring day. - the staff were very helpful in warning us that they were a long way from town and we would need to hire a vehicle to get to the property. Its a pity that booking.com dont let you know that its so far out of town. had to hire a vehicle and after an exceptional long flying day had to drive unfamiliar roads to get there. the fact that there were no ensuites also was an issue with it being so cold.
- Patrick (9/5): Very welcoming and family friendly - Clean comfortable Walls were paper thin and the neighbour was snorting up a storm
- Kylie (8/5): Very good -
- Bianca (10/5): Exceptional - Friendly little park excellent layout
- Shana (8/5): Very good - The unique atmosphere of this caravan park was amazing!! The cabin was rustic and beautiful, staff were amazing and tame, pettable wallabies are always a big plus. The door was unable to lock and finding the cabin was slightly difficult to new guests.
- Melissa (10/5): Fantastic would stay again. - Welcoming, clean, great facilities
- Jess (9/5): Hidden Gem!! - This is truely a really lovely place to stay. I wish we could have stayed longer. It is honestly a hidden gem!! The camp kitchen blew me away. The seating outside the camp kitchen with fairy lights and a fire pit was so beautiful and welcoming. The facilities are old (which I don't mind) but very clean. We stayed in a cabin which was very clean and comfortable for the 4 of us. Equiped with air con, fan and mozzie screens. There was lots of room to park our car and trailer with lots of space to turn and back a trailer. The check-in process was a breeze with easy payment options and outside of hours check-in was easy and very accommodating to us. We are also nature people so the animal feeding was a lovely opportunity to get up close and personal with some local wildlife. Staff were very lovely and efficient. This is definitely a home away from home and we can't wait to come back here with our friends and family.
- Gavin (9/5): Superb -
- Juri (8/5): Very good -
- Scott (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrew (9/5): Superb - Friendly staff, lovely location, roomy cabin with good kitchen and utensils.
- Ravelle (10/5): Exceptional - Rooms were comfortable and well kept, staff were super friendly and knowledgeable, the shared amenties were especially awesome.
Victoria and Darryl gave great guidance on places to go and people to see in terms of fossicking and buying gems, and the 5pm daily wildlife feeding was awesome (especially if you love birds and wallabies).
11/10 will be back! Don't have anything negative to say about the experience at all.
- Jackie (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful safe friendly environment Can't think of anything
- Malcolm (6/5): Pleasant -
- Caroline (10/5): Visit this little slice of paradise - Honestly just the best little park. Friendly and welcoming. Tidy, clean and plenty of character. Great facilities and informative about the local areas. Daily interactive bird feedings and on site fossiking which the kids love. It's a good sign when your on your last day and your sat looking up when you can next visit. We'll definitely be back There's nothing to dislike
